 Aoi perched on-top of the rock, eyes vacant as she thought of her family. It had been awhile since she saw any of them, and even longer since she had even thought of them. Maybe it was this encounter that reminded her of them? She was here to teach Bruiser, a male she had met not to long ago, how to hunt. Well, she was sure he knew how, however he wasn't the best, and she had decided to pity the male and give him a lesson. She could remember her blue mother taking the kits out to hunt small birds when she was little, how Akira scared all the birds away and Lavi had to comfort her when she cried.
That had been a long time ago. When she had met Freya, the two had stuck together like glue. Now? Freya was off doing her own thing for a bit. It was inevitable the two would pair up again. Freya and Aoi stuck together like glue.
Until then, she was indulging herself. The usually standoffish female had met Bruiser, and for some strange reason agreed to being his teacher. Now? Who knows. Maybe the would become friends. Currently, she was more amused by the fact that a younger vixen was teaching an older male how to hunt.

 Bruiser bounced in happiness as he headed to meet Aoi again. The vixen he just met was going to show or teach him how to hunt. He thought about the last hunt he did and his step lost the bounce. He was chasing it and something distracted him, causing him to trip and roll down the hill. All that he got was a small rodent which reminded him of the mouse he had caught.
A quick shake had the starry male bouncing again. His stomach rumbled a little. Not wanting to have any noise that might distract from the lesson, he nabbed some blackberries. Satisfied that his stomach wouldn't rumble during the lesson, he went to greet the young vixen.
"Greetings, Aoi."

Aoi turned her head to spot the starry-male bonding over to her. She leapt off the rock, padding silently to him, her aura glowing brighter. She was happy to see the male, but why? He was just a hyper brat. She flashed him a small smirk, black eyes flicking over to look at the male, tail flicking to the side.
"Hello Bruiser." She mewled back, ear flicking. She had forgotten had bright his coat was. It was pretty, yes, but how would he hide it? Same way she hid her glow she guessed.
"Are you ready for today?"

His bouncing steps slowed so that his steps were softer. His ears twitched as he watched how quietly she moved. Bruiser wonders if that is something taught, or was just a known part of being a fox. He could hardly move with out stepping on something that rustled.
"As ready as I can be." He smiled as his tail moved with eagerness.

Aoi smirked at the male, tapping his cheek with her tail. "Well, boy, lets go." She padded off to the clearing that she had seen a few bunnies at before, her glow clinging to her frame tightly. It wouldn't be good scaring off any bunnies, would it? She turned to look at the male when they grew closer, suddenly crouching.
"Crouch low."

Bruiser wiped his cheek where the female tapped him. It had tickled a little, but nothing like feathers on the nose. He jogged semi quietly after, til he was close to see where they were heading.
The male tried to crouch as low as his teacher, but his tail kept twitching above him as the scent of bunnies entered his nose. "Am I low enough?"

She judged his form quietly, suddenly whipping his back with her tail gently to force him to lower his frame. Nodding, she turned to look ahead, bumping hips with him. "Now, start to crawl forward, but be careful of any sticks or twigs or anything that can give away your presence." She crawled closer to a den she had spotted earlier, a smile on her lips when she saw two bunnies merrily chomping away on grass.
"When I get mine, you go after the other one and try to imitate me." She hummed, moving until the bunny suddenly tensed. The creature bolted, however Aoi darted from her hiding spot and skidded in-front of the bunny, cutting it's path off. Quickly, she grabbed it by the scruff and cut into it's neck.

He crawled forward, doing his best to keep over a twig. His body was twisted as he made it to the den after Aoi had. There were a few twigs that he wiggled around, but made him uncomfortable.
Bruiser watched the lithe movements the vixen made to get her bunny. The other was standing stock still as it watched its friend bolt. Taking that as a sign to go after it, the starry fox jumped from his spot. The bunny bolted then and gave Bruiser a run for his meal. It wasn't as neat or quick as Aoi's but he got the bunny.

When Bruiser had caught his bunny Aoi padded up to him, rewarding him with a brush of her body against his, smirking. "That wasn't to bad." She cooed, turning to look at the male and his kill. She licked her lips, humming to herself. Well, Bruiser had not only a good coat and nice personality, and he wasn't a bad hunter, either.
So, he'd be a good mate, if she ever decided to find one. She looked at him with another sly smirk. "Well, I taught you something, you should teach me something~"
