Story
Very cute story!
At first you're not too sure what is going on and what this 'incident' is but as the story progresses it gets more interesting and some parts very sad - especially when Sonobe is trying to rub out 'Noguchi' on the desk and he wants answers *sniffles* and the ending is also very cute and you begin to learn about the sensei slowly ^_^ But the only thing I didn't like was that they didn't explain sensei's story which I think would've been nice but nevertheless it gives you the freedom to think it up =D
And I was expecting there to be a deeper bond between Sonobe and Muruachi but I guess it's trying to convey reality so it wouldn't happen ne! ^_^
Cast
Hiroshi Abe - AMAZING acting from him! Even though Murauchi sensei doesn't say much, he really portrays it through his face and only speaks when it's worth speaking and is just an excellent performance ^_^
Kanata Hongo - Also enjoyed his performance. I was very impressed by how he portrayed his character and I love how he performed him at crucial parts =]
Ayumi Ito - Didn't really understand her characters presents, I was expecting more form the character so I don't have much to say on the actress as we didn't see her much.
Characters
Murauchi - Love this character, at first you're like cold because you seems very strict and mean but when you learn about his stutter you feel sorry for him *cries* and as the story progresses you start to like him and feel sympathy for the character and never want him to leave! =D So this character and the actor both did an amazing job! Also an enigmatic character as his story isn't really told.
Shinichi Sonobe - I liked the character, very enigmatic about what's going through his mind for quite a bit of the film but towards the end you feel happy for him that he's accomplished and managed to face up to his responsiblity ^_^ Also felt sad for him when he was talking about Noguchi and was talking to the shadow of him. Just wanted to give him a hug at times!! xD
Cinematography
Didn't notice much but it was pretty basic but I liked how it always hinted towards Sonobe slyly so the audience think he's linked to this incident somehow until it's explicitly told in the story =D
Story: 4/5 Like I said 'cute'! =D
Characters: 4/5 but 5/5 for Sonobe and Murauchi minus the lack of character background ^_^
Cast: 4/5 Pretty unknown but they were all good at atleast one point of the film!
