**NOTE** This RP was conducted in a former guild, I (PGMika) just moved it here to the new official guild. LOL. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki He yawned as he wandered about mindlessly, not caring about his destination. He was searching for his missing companions, and so far, he'd only found Gojyo, only for the kappa to (once again) disappear. "Why do I even care?" he grumbled to himself. No, he wasn't worried. All of his companions could take care of themselves perfectly fine without him, but because of this journey of his, they were all necessary parts. They had all be separated before, but in the end, they had all somehow still gotten together, as though tied by some bond that they openly denied existed but did. His training taught him to see these things, and therefore he knew, in the back of his mind, that even though he always fought with them, they were powerful together and they always watched each other's backs.
He grumbled again. "I don't give a **** anymore," he snorted, coming to a rest as he checked his surroundings. He was by himself, like he wanted. But damn it all, he was hating the fact he felt lonely, not to mention he was bored. At least if his companions were around, and though they fought, they kept each other from being bored half to death. It was one of few things he personally appreciated about his "friends," but never said so aloud. Why should he? They were all for their own, and not for each other... and though they said that aloud, it was what kept them alive. "Stupid kappa, running out on me," he finally growled. Why did he bother!?[X]Natty-Chan[X] It was a long day and he traveled far and there was still no luck in finding a place to call his own that would not be deemed 'too close' to others. The demi-god knew he wasn't exactly trusted and because of certain other aspects of him, deemed a bit odd. He did not mind the critisizing really, he just chose to roam for his own lands for the convenience of others. He had actually met four others that didn't seem to care what he was or anything like that. He had gotten to know them a bit, but they parted their own ways after only a short while. Oh well, such the life of a wanderer.
After some time, he came across a clearing and decided to take a rest. True, he had wings, but he didn't really use them unless he truly had to. Walking further into the clearing, his duel-colored eyes peered around. It seemed that he wouldn't be alone though. In the distance, there seemed to be another ulaya. It made him pause for a moment, but it didn't make him fret. He just kept walking to find a place to settle and if the other seemed uncomfortable with his presence, then he would leave.

He glanced up sharply when he felt the presence of another ulaya nearby, and his violet gaze soon rested upon an unfamiliar--yet familiar--male ulaya. Blue-haired? Golden-eyed? he noted to himself, and then decided that, well, since he was bored, why the hell not? He moved from his resting spot and began to walk towards the other, hoping to find some answers to his mission comrades-in-arms. This ulaya, who seemed familiar but was unfamiliar, might know, especially since Genjyo felt as if he may have met the other before.
"Hey. You," he called, not quite yelling, but not exactly whispering, either. "I have some questions for you, if you don't mind answering," he continued, finally coming to a rest close enough to have a conversation but far enough away that he felt comfortable. The only ones allowed close to his person were those three others, but at the moment they weren't of much concern... yet. He eyed the other--most certainly an unusual male if he ever saw one. Blue-haired, golden-eyed, black-scaled... wings? And... a demonic marking? Had he come across one of the rumored demi-gods? Well, it wasn't impossible, what with his trade and all.

He didn't get too far before the other ulaya noticed him. Now, this was nothing terrible on its own, the half breed just wasn't sure how the other would react to him now that the other knew he was there. He quietly gauged the other for any sign of discomfort of his presence, but it soon became apparent that his arrival wasn't a problem. Sure enough, the other began to approach him. It was then that he noticed the others odd... garb. Priests robes and a sutra? It seems that this other was a great Sanzo.
A brow quirked slightly at the 'greeting' that was called out to him as he took a slow seat, waiting for the Sanzo to get closer. Questions? He wondered to himself. Usually when he was questioned, it never had good results and he was sure that, coming from one who has been known to kill demons, it would be the same routine. Yet, the hybrid wasn't going to deny the request. "I do not mind at all."

He gazed at this other male, judging his danger level and then shrugged. He'd deal with it when it happened, if it happened, should it happen at all. Genjyo certainly didn't see a need to assert anything more than what he planned. "Good. Have you see a red-haired kappa, a brown-haired green guy, and a monkey-face around?" Okay, so those weren't the best descriptions he had, but they were better than letting loose names. If anything, names meant power--he being a Sanzo was already enough. No one questioned a Sanzo... rather, no one question him, but it wasn't as if he'd answer anyhow. "And, if you need to say anything, just call me Sanzo, as all the others do," he shrugged.

His tail flicked lightly as the other asked whether he had come across some others, he guessed, other comrades of the Sanzo. Though the descriptions were vague, two of them didn't seem familiar, but one was slightly on par. "Although I do not know if he is indeed a water sprite as you say, I have come across a half-demon some time ago. Is this one of who you seek?" He asked with a small tilt of his head. He enjoyed being helpful, and though he did not encounter the other two, he hoped that this information would be of some use. When the other ulaya introduced himself as simply, Sanzo, he bowed his head in greeting. "It is nice to meet you Sanzo. I am Rinji Kokoro, but feel free to just call me Rinji."

Attempting to appear nonchalant, Genjyo peered at the other Ulaya with slightly--slightly--more interest. "Sounds like you ran across the idiot kappa," he commented in a dry voice. He hesitated a moment, and then added, "Yeah, he's one of them." Genjyo played with Rinji's name in his head, and then nodded at him. "You're a demon?" Genjyo wasn't really known for being tactful, but he guessed he could be straightforward with this Ulaya. Besides, if anything were to happen, it wasn't as if he couldn't handle himself. He had his special little weapon, after all, though it was most useful being used against a certain someone. "You're strangely polite for a demon, if you are one," Genjyo commented, eyeing Rinji carefully now.

Rinji couldn't help but be curious of how Genjyo referred to his acquaintences, though it did not show outwardly on his features. When the other acknowledged that the one he had previously mentioned was one of who he had mentioned he had nodded. "I will be sure to let him know you are looking for him if I run into him again." He replied, giving a paw a small lick before lowering it. The first sign of emotion that came from the scaled ulaya, was a bit of surprise as his ears perked at the question on if he was a demon. "I am... in a way. I am a half-demon." He explained. Because of his upbringing, Rinji was unaware that a breeding between a normal and a demon produced a different looking offspring than one of a demon and a god, like himself. When the second comment came up, he quirked a brow, "I do believe that not everyone who carries the title of 'demon' are automatically evil and blood thirsty. Do all Sanzo's automatically judge based off of appearances and race?"

"Hardly," Genjyo snorted. "Most demons I run into tend to be rude, wild, and annoying. Especially annoying," he added, thinking of Goku. Of course, he wouldn't admit that he missed the dear little monkey. But he had some hope that Gojyo was alive, according to this Rinji character. Deciding Rinji was safe enough, Genjyo decided to approach him and close the distance much more physically. So he got up from his spot and began walking towards Rinji. "Hard to have a decent conversation when we're five feet away," was Genjyo's only explanation. He continued to look Rinji over, noting things here and there, but otherwise, uncaring of Rinji's looks. "You didn't attack me, therefore I don't care." As far as Sanzo was concerned, Rinji was fine as long as he didn't try to kill him. Hakkai's character was probably similar to Rinji's but possibly scarier. Who knew?

"That is quite unfortunate, I am sorry that you are burdened by such demons." He comforted, though his face showed no actual remorse. He honestly had no problems with demons, but he figured it was due to either his larger size or perhaps it was they sensed that he was more than a mere demon. Despite this, he was still concerned when demons attacked others, though physically, it may not seem so, as he looked to the Sanzo. An ear swiveled to face the other Ulaya as he approached. He said nothing when Genjyo explained the reason of the approach, nodding in confirmation. As he did get closer, the familiarity got a little clearer, but he still couldn't quite place how the male seemed familiar. "I have no reason to attack you. I do not care that you are a Sanzo, nor do I care for your Sutras, so you are quite safe."

"That makes you more suspicious," he said. And yet, less suspicious, because Rinji obviously knew about his power and his status and still wasn't doing anything--yet--to harm him or steal his most powerful weapon of survival. Sanzo stared at Rinji for a while, trying to place him. Half-demon, he thought, but he couldn't figure out the other half. No matter, perhaps Rinji could help him. "Have a place to stay?" he asked after a long moment of silence. This Rinji character looked lost, and he didn't exactly have a permanent place, but it was reaching towards evening now, and Genjyo didn't feel like sleeping outdoors without some form of protection. As he was by himself, perhaps he and Rinji could switch sentry duty so they could sleep somewhat comfortably out in this wild. However, if they started now, they could also probably try finding an abandoned cavern or otherwise.

The demi-god just tsked as the Sanzo seemed even more wary of him, but he wasn't going to say anything. He doubted anything he would have said would have calmed the priest in any form at the moment anyways. He knew he had no need for the sutras, it was up to Sanzo himself to figure that out.
While the other was silent, he had glanced up to the sky to take note of the approaching night. He would have to locate a suitable location to sleep until morning. It seemed the Sanzo had the same idea, as he posed the question on if he had a place to stay. Returning his attention back to his present company, he slowly shook his head. "I am afraid I do not, I am a wanderer at the time being and rest wherever I can." He explained gently.

Genjyo sighed, slightly annoyed with how he was being treated, but shrugged it off in the end. "Well, let's get started finding a place then, if you plan to find any place decent to sleep," he pointed out. Genjyo would never admit that he wanted company, especially since all of his other companions seemed to have disappeared off the face of the land. He was used to traveling by himself without too many problems, however, a companion wouldn't be too bad. Maybe. "At any rate, Rinji," Genjyo emphasized the name for unknown reasons even unto himself, "since you, a wanderer, don't have any permanent place, that means you have to work to find a place to sleep, too. I journey a bit myself." Genjyo had no idea why he added the last bit, but it wasn't as if it harmed him to say it. As it was, Genjyo stretched and shook some of his stiff muscles from being still for such a long while. He hadn't realized that dealing with Rinji had taken so much time.

Rinji's ears perked a bit when Sanzo pretty much implied that they should get going to find shelter. In all honesty, it threw him for a loop and miraculously, his surprise was over his face. He remained silent for a moment until he finally composed himself. "~Ahem~... Sorry about that, but yes, finding shelter is a wise decision." He confirmed, getting up and arching his back in a stretch, his wings unfurling momentarily to stretch as well. Once he was standing, he was almost twice the size of his new travel companion. "Well, as a fellow wanderer, I am sure you also know what to be on the look out for in a decent shelter."

Other than blinking, Genjyo gave no external expression to his surprise at the size of his new companion. He hadn't expected Rinji to be nearly twice his size--but well, that was all right, too. He was more of the type to be in the background, so to speak, but by no means was he any less important. He just wasn't a physical fighter. Well, he supposed he could be, but he didn't condone physical violence... much. His other companions allowed him to do so, but beyond that, he preferred observing from a relatively safe space. "Indeed," he intoned agreement with Rinji's last statement. His violet eyes gazed about sharply for any indication of a safe shelter. Night was coming upon them ever closer, and as Sanzo, Genjyo didn't want to risk anything bad happening. He still didn't quite trust this Rinji character, but so far, Rinji hadn't been confrontational. Of course, his particular dealings made him warier in general, and Rinji had yet to prove his trustworthiness. Perhaps looking for a place together, and seeing if he was alive the next morning, would prove a good test for that. "I see a dark area ahead... maybe it's a cave to spend the night in."
