Being that Shay McIrmid is one of the factulty teachers at the instute the main subject taught by her happens to be Literture.

Shay looked over at Ami. "Since it's your first time being late, and you still got here before the class actually started, I'll let it go this once. Okay? Now today we're going to be reading an excerpt from a book by H. G. Wells called "War of the Worlds". It's about the Earth being attacked by alien invaders from Mars... and before you all roll your eyes and say 'Another Martian invasion?' you should know that this was the first fictional alien invasion."

After reading about sevn pages into the book Ami got board and pulled out and placed in the shelf under the desk and electronic Black Jack game with the volume off. then she started to fake read while playing the game instead.

Shay noticed Ami wasn't paying attention, but decided to ignore it for now because class was almost over anyway. "So answer the questions on the paper I'm going to hand out, and we'll talk about them tomorrow," she said, and started passing out a sheet of paper with a few questions about "The War of the Worlds".

Ami herd something about papers, filling out, and homework which brought her attention back to the class room. "Great" she said as she rooled her eyes and took the handout.

Nathan had his head on the desk; eyes closed and staying quiet. His bag was at his feet and his pencil that lay before him was trembling slightly from his own shaking frame. He'd been there earlier than usual but he had his reasons.
As he rested he waited, quietly turning his head every now and then to check the door way to see who walked through; still waiting, still quiet.

Ami walked in to the class room and got to her seat when the bell rang once again just like the other day. She quickly got to her seat and pulled out the homework which she did from watching the War of Wolrds staring Tom Cruise. After handing it in to Professor Shay, she pulled out her text book and then secretly grab her black jack video game and once more began to play it as the Professor started to teach

Adam was late. He had been hurrying through the halls which he had yet to register was a school and not a creepy old haunted house. Most of the students here were younger than him and he still didn't see why he had to take a dumb literature class but he had promised someone he would turn up other than sitting in his empty dorm fantasizing about being in the field again kicking butt.
He turned the corner tightly to be met with an empty room, well...mostly empty. There was a girl and the impatient friend of his, he waved to both. He hurriedly took his seat trying not to overdo the speed as they weren't allowed to abuse their powers inside without supervision. A rule which was still yet to adhere to Adam's tastes. "So what have I missed?" he asked the blonde.

Nathan's attention finally perked upon the door moving only falling again as he noticed it wasn't Adam; however still offering Ami a small smile and a wave.
He went back to resting his head on his arm but soon was sitting up again as Adam walked into the room; a smile broadly presenting itself upon his face as he saw the other move in and sit next to him.
"Took your sweet a** time didn't you?" The blonde scoffed; still smiling as he adjusted to rest his slightly pointed chin against his own knuckles; attention that hadn't been there minutes ago now on his friend.
"Nothing really; mostly everyone's late...probably half of them still in gym. Though at least you came."

He scooched in and rubbed his butt into his seat. The literature class seemed boring so far. The girl was still playing blackjack and the teacher hadn't said a word since he got in. "This teacher seems quiet, alot quieter than the one we had for history." he stated cracking a small smirk and preparing his book for the lesson.
