"Your so pretty, Clover." Tatsuo praised the creature that was wanting along next to him, somewhat dog like so he was sure that it would be allowed in the park with him, right? He was pretty sure of it. He reached a hand out to pat the green colored, dog like Leafeon on the head, "Good Clover." He looked over his shoulder to make sure that his dad was still there, relaxing when he spotted him, then gave a smile, relaxing. This park was a new place for him so he was a little uncertain but with his Daddy here as well as his Clover he should be alright.

The pair were walking along when Tatsuo spotted what had to be the most amazing thing ever... it was... was an abominable snow creature! He starred at the massive creature that seemed to be here with a boy with interesting hair and a neat scent to him. He paused in his walking, Clover pausing alongside of him, and he set to starring. It was... it was... A giant... cat? Dog? A furry pony? It was hard to tell. He looked from side to side, at the boy, the started to slipping slowly forward to get a better look at the dog without getting noticed by either the giant white beast or the one with the beast.

"Oh... that is neat." He whispered, lifting his hands up to his cover his mouth when he realized that he had spoken out loud. Oops...

Clover came to sit down at his feet, watching the massive dog creature, her leaf like tail swishing behind her. She saw the thing as a potential friend but not until Tatsuo was alright with it, until then she would stay at his side and keep guard.

Tatsuo went completely tense as the monster sized animal came over them, sure that if they came over here to them that it was going to eat him... but instead it would seem as though the creature was just happy to see Clover? He blinked a couple of times and seemed to relax greatly as his pet stood up and moved closer to the large dog, her ears turning forward, tail swishing. It seemed... that she liked him. That was a good sign that the beast wasn't dangerous, right? She would have done something about it.

"H-Hello there." Tatsuo said to the... dog? He also thought that it was a dog with the way its tongue was hanging out and it was panting in such a happy manner. Alright, a giant dog he thought he could deal with, "Your very... very large, aren't you?" He asked of the dog, giving it a bit of a shaky smile. Knowing what it was helped, knowing it was happy helped as well, but still he was a touch intimidated since it was something new...

Tatsuo looked passed the dog to the one that had been walking it... or was the dog walking the boy, and he winced as he saw him on the ground, "A-Are you... are you alright?" He asked quietly and worriedly.

Tatsuo looked at the boy's clothing, so different from his own and a rather pristine looking color where the dirt wasn't clinging. He blinked a couple times then gave a little nod, "O-Oh..." So he wasn't alright because of his clothing? Did that mean he wasn't hurt? He wanted to ask but the boy seemed to be in a terrible sort of mood over the dirtying of what he was wearing. It would seem that he even went as far as to accuse the dog of the crime... but the dog seemed to be used to the boy's temperament given how the accusations seemed to roll off his back.

"I'm... I'm sure he didn't mean it, he just... just seems like he wanted to meet Clover." He said, patting the Leafeon on the head gently, "I'm sorry that she distracted your dog." Maybe if he took the blame instead the boy wouldn't be mad at his dog anymore he thought to himself... though it was really hard to do. He wasn't good at talking to other people and the only reason he was able to do so now was because he had Clover with him and because he was starring at his feet... were he to look at the other boy and were he alone he'd be more likely to clam up. As it was so many words to a stranger, even one his own age, left him feeling a little tired. Where was his Daddy? He wanted nothing more then to cling to one of his strong hands.

Looking around for a moment he spotted where Kiyoshi was, sitting on a bench not far from them, watching to make sure that the pair were alright but wasn't interfering as of yet. He wanted his son to make friends after all and the boy seemed to struggle a bit with it. This meeting seemed to be going... well a bit roughly but the white haired man would give it more time.

Tatsuo's eyes went rather wide as the other leaned in and looked up at him, asking him why he was starring at the ground and if he were looking at his dirty shoes, "Ahh...? Your shoes?" He asked, sounding a little confused as to why the other thought that he would be looking at his shoes. Should he be? Should he care they were dirty? Likely not, shoes were always on the ground after all so it was natural they get dirty, right? He slowly lifted his gaze, forcing himself to do so, as the other boy started to brush his hands against his clothing in a rather forceful manner, seeming desperate to be rid of the dirt, "It's not so bad, I bet it can be cleaned. My Daddy can get stains out of his clothing after all." At least from what he'd seen, the tops of his archery outfits were a stark white, a bit like the unmarred parts of this boy's clothing so that should give him hope, right?

"Maybe you just need bleach?" He suggested, shifted in place, finding it more then a little strange to be giving laundry advice to someone, especially given that Tatsuo didn't do the laundry and he was mostly just guessing from what he'd seen on commercials when watching the television. Bleach seemed to be the wonder ingredient when it came to removing stains if the television was to be believed.

Shifting in place, that much more uncomfortable, Tatsuo found himself longing to cling to his pet but instead forced himself to look at Cain despite the overwhelming desire to look anywhere else. Starring directly at someone meant the chances of that someone seeing all of his scales despite the coat he was wearing... as such he rarely did so, instead letting his hair hide them. So embarrassing he thought to himself, "N-Not... starring at the ground cause... cause of your clothing." He told him, hoping that the other boy would believe him when he said as much. He likely didn't but he'd try to explain anyway, better then making an enemy of the dirt hating boy before they had even gotten properly introduced after all.

"O-Oh? Will it?" He asked, here he'd thought it would be alright because the commericials liked to brag about how their bleach was 'color safe' but maybe this kid knew more about such things then him since he seemed to enjoy being clean and dirt free he thought to himself, shifting in place, hands clutching a little at his pant legs. Oh my but this wasn't going well, was it? This boy seemed to be rather... disagreeable and quite up in arms when it came to dirt and cleanlieness... perhaps he was in a war against the dirt of the world? He'd almost beleive it with the way that the boy acted he thought to himself before he gave a jump when the other was demanding of him why he was starring at the ground.

"A-Ahh..." Why was he starring at the ground... how did he explain? He shifted in place a bit then said, "I-I just... I have a... a hard time looking at people I just..." How did he explain such a thing? That looking people in the eye was a bit difficult and he would much rather hide behind his father then have to deal with people one on one? It was a hard thing to explain for sure. Then add in the fact that he had issues with his looks because he found his scales to be a little strange... he dropped his gaze again, starring at his feet once more, "I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to seem insulting..." He said, his voice dropping to a hushed whispered. The last thing he wanted was to insult the other boy though it seemed to be rather easy to do, as though he had a lot of buttons to push and somehow Tatsuo kept hitting them without meaning to do so.

Daring to look up at the other boy for a moment through his messy bangs he gave the best smile he could muster, "I'm sorry... if I upset you... it wasn't my intention." Perhaps they could start over he thought to himself hopefully.

If he wanted to be his friend he had to look at the other boy? He didn't want to seem as though he were rude, that wasn't how he meant to come off after all, "S-Sorry, I will try to do better." He promised, not wanting for one who was a potential new friend to decide that Tatsuo wasn't worthy of friend status because of his inability to look at people. He swallowed hard and struggled a bit more to look up at the other, it was a little closer to what Cain wanted though actually looking him in the eye, that was more difficult. It was like a smaller dog trying to look in the eyes of a bigger, more aggressive sort of dog, it wasn't something that would happen easily.

"Cut my... bangs?" He asked, lifting a hand up to touch the long, wavy bangs he often used to hide behind as though they were some sort of shield and found himself a little unsure of the idea. He didn't know if he wanted to cut his hair, it would leave him without a way to hide after all. He'd look a lot neater if he cut his bangs... neater yes, but how would he hide? How would he peek at people if he didn't have his bangs to hide his eyes? He wasn't sure, "I-I will consider it." He said, giving the other a nod. He should take the suggestions to heart, the other boy was being nice enough to try to help after all, right? As for the the slouching it was something he could attempt to do now he decided, shifting his stance so he was standing a little taller, clasping his hands behind his back as he did so.

He seemed almost to be standing at attention, doing his utmost to look directly at Cain instead of his feet, even though doing so left him a bit dizzy then asked, "H-How is this?" He asked, hoping that he would better appeal to the other boy as someone that was worthy of being his friend.

Tatsuo shifted slightly in place, trying not to squirm as he was starred at, before giving the slightest of smiles when he was told that what he was doing at the moment was 'much better' then how he'd been before. Apparently he was rather tall when he wasn't slouching which was something he hadn't really noticed before... but hearing it was a nice thing. Maybe he would be lucky and one day be as tall as his father was. How nice would that be? Being so tall would be wonderful! His father was like some sort of hero he thought to himself with a bit of a smile on his lips. Shifting again, as though trying to be that much taller, he decided that he would at least enjoy that one feature of himself.

When he was told that he needed work he started to slump a little... that was until he was already doing much better. That small bit of praise had him standing up tall again, "T-Thank you." He wasn't sure why it should be so important to him to make this person happy and yet... it was. Perhaps it was because this person was so critical? It was easy to impress someone like his father who loved him no matter what. It was harder to impress someone with a discerning eye like what Cain had. He would need to work hard so that he could be worthy enough to be his friend! It was a goal that he would work hard at achieving and hope that he made his new maybe-friend proud of him.
