Calliay’s office is found in the far back of the 13th Division building. It’s big, but messy. There’s one window behind Calliay’s desk, which is always cluttered with paperwork, it stands from floor to ceiling with deep purple curtains on either side. In front of the desk are a velvet covered couch and arm chair matching set, two chairs on either side of the couch. The rest of the room is covered with bookshelves, pictures, odd things of Calliay’s that are best not to touch lest you probably get cursed, and in the door to Calliay’s quarters.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Walking through Squad 13 Volt reaches the captains office. Stepping in he noticed the paper work and looked around for The captain. "She has to be here somewhere." Speaking to himself again Volt looked back at the letter in his hand and made sure he still had it.
"...but on how happy others can be because of you."

(Using my bf's iPod to text so excuse the ruffness of the post.) With a sigh Calliay stepped from her bedroom door, stooped close to the floor she was attempting to sneak out of the office so as to avoid the quickly growing pile of paperwork on her desk.

I am the prince of all grim reality...Skothantos Skothantos followed Voltarion inside and wanted to personally congratulate the young man for his newly appointed role of Captain. He felt that he was definitely deserving of his rank, unlike himself. He took on the form within the shadows and then manifested himself close to her desk and noticed the huge amounts of paper on it. At that point, he made a conclusion: she was leaving because of the work in there and that made him instantly despise her for not understanding the idea of civic virtue, something a conscript like him feels more so than someone who is perhaps a volunteer. He turned to Voltarion, took off his mask and said, "This is perhaps an odd place to say what I am about to say, but congratulations, Voltarion. I'm quite proud someone as deserving as you took on the role you wanted."Theme...To be intertwined in eternal damnation.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Looking at the captain of thirteen start sleeking away from her desk he quickly cut her off handing her the letter he found in Captain Dakota`s office. Looking back at new figure that had appeared he looked at it and saw it was Skothantos. Nodding he responded. "Thank you. I was in awe and surprise that Captain Dakota would have retired." Looking down at his arm he still had his Lieutenant badge on his arm. He hadn't received his captains badge yet. Brushing some hair from his face he looked back at the one he had passed the letter off to. "It is labeled to you and to Toke from Dakota." He spoke with a slight depressed tone. Shaking his head he couldn't believe it Dakota actually retired. Shaking his head he turned and walked out the door of the office.
The letter reads.
To Calliay and Tokemaru I want to let you know, I love you both with all my heart. I will think of you every day I live Calliay, it's been my greatest joy in life meeting you. Tokemaru, I know I've given you a hard time in life, but I love you, and you've made me proud so many times that I feel you're a true blessing to befold me.

I am the prince of all grim reality...Skothantos Skothantos said nothing to reply to Voltarion in an aloof manner so as not to summon Nurgle by sympathizing with him. He had to remain aloof as well to act as if he didn't care about the letter (and because it wasn't his business) as well to not summon Tzeentch. To this end, Skothantos was incapable of feeling really any emotion at all even in times where sympathy and understanding is needed. Right now he didn't have the will (or patience) to deal with them right now so he kept his calloused attitude because he didn't need to go insane in another Captain's office, especially someone he was likely to dislike. Civic virtue had been one of his main focuses since his conscription so he didn't like how the Captain was skipping out on her duties. Observing everything, Skothantos took out his notebook and wrote down everything he noticed and had a rather negative view on the Captain here even though it was in a sarcastic manner. Theme...To be intertwined in eternal damnation.

Calliay gripped the letter hard crinkling under her fingers, she didn’t understand it, how could Dakota do this? She still didn’t have all her memories in order, she still needed his help. “He quit didn’t he?” She asked the one who’d brought her the letter. With a sigh she walked back to her desk and put the paper in one of the desks drawers. She sighed, hiding her face behind the stacks of papers as she tried to get a hold of herself, without Dakota here she didn’t know if she could handle this all. Taking a shaking breath she steadied herself and turned to the window to look out at the stretch of garden that it over looked. “Are either of you interested in a spar?”

I am the prince of all grim reality...Skothantos Skothantos continued to look at Caliyay and really pitied her and began to hear Nurgle's filthy voice ringing in his head as well as Slaanesh's dark whispers. It was too much so he summoned up his Zanpakuto from his dark portal and sighed. The Zanpakuto was the only real device to seal them off when he needed them to be gone the most. He turned to Caliyay, a look of obvious strife on his face and kept his 9 and a half foot long scythe from touching the Captain's floor. He wasn't interested in a spar but the fact he drew his Zanpakuto when she asked for one meant he was going to have to fight her, "I'm more of a man to use my words but I once ruled over quite a large portion of Hueco Mundo and because my Zanpakuto is drawn, I'll face you but I need certain precautions to prevent them from interfering with my mind."Theme...To be intertwined in eternal damnation.

Looking back Calliay noticed that the other one, the one that had brought her the letter had left already. With a mental kick to herself for missing his absents she moved around her desk to examine the other Captain. “Name and Division, if you do not mind. I’m afraid I was unaware that new Captains had yet to be named. Goes to show just how much information they want to share with me.” She leaned against the desk arms folded in front of her protectively. This wasn’t the Calliay that the rest of the Seireitei knew, no this was the hurt Calliay, the memories were still fresh in her brain instead of buried thanks to her jewel. She lacked the last five hundred years worth of gained toughness at times like this. [Sorry it took so long didn’t notice the replay…]

I am the prince of all grim reality...Skothantos Skothantos noted her expressions and immediately in his detective state of mind and kept a calm attitude towards her, so as not to anger her. He remained his casual, calloused, and uncaring attitude because if she wanted his pity, she'd have to see him at another time. He replied, "I apologize if I came here unannounced and uninvited, but I had to congratulate Captain Voltarion, personally and as you know, he was just here. Anyways, my name is Skothantos and I am Captain of Squad 12. I have no last name as I have lost my family, years ago, and as such, I forsake the name. Again, understand I have no reason to fight you, as this Zanpakuto is not for you, its for me to defend myself from them."Skothantos kept his mask over his face to hide the look of a sorry face. It was not a matter of weakness, since emotion to him was not weakness of self, but rather it was weakness of the demons in his mind and his face was simply too abhorred to show. Showing his face would reveal his shame and he didn't want to show his shame. If she didn't know him then there was no point in revealing to her about his past, his demons, and his fated future. Theme...To be intertwined in eternal damnation.((Its fine, I sometimes forget too))

Forcing some of her old spark back, with some dislike by the cracked blood jewel that sat upon her forehead, Calliay managed a not so caring smile. “I don’t particularly care who ‘them’ is. I don’t like people drawing their swords in my office. I’ll let it slide this time, since you are division 12.” The thought of angering someone who may get a hold of her forehead jewel made her a little cautious, what with it having so much power over her mental state. She was sure he had a file in the 12th division on it somewhere, weather he’d looked at it or not, since she’d so much done to it over the years that she’d spent in the 13 divisions.

I am the prince of all grim reality...Skothantos Skothantos kept his Zanpakuto on him, much against the wishes of Caliyay even though he wasn't intentionally trying to defy her, only to protect himself and her. He cared not one bit for a thanks if she knew why he had his Zanpakuto out. Eventually, his pity began to override his calloused exterior and the filthy whispers of Nurgle began to get to Skothantos, even with his seals on his Zanpakuto. He could not risk demonic possession and undergo that horrid transformation again and as he fought with himself, his mask became transparent and his clothes' real color was unveiled. His face was scarred from underneath the eyes and on the lips as well. Skothantos' sorry face was shown and he knew Caliyay could see his abhorred and disgustingly ugly face. He closed his eyes and looked away... Theme...To be intertwined in eternal damnation.
