Laying on her back, Tivoli loved the feeling of the cool grass against her back. She was staring playfully up at the sky, paws dancing to a silent melody. Everything felt good right now, and the expression on her face portrayed that perfectly.
Closing her eyes, she took in a deep breath, with all the scents that were slowly becoming familiar to her. As a cub, she never would have pictured herself here - laying on the ground as a member of a pride, with the one lion that had really spun her heart around. Just thinking of everything the two had been through together, how he seemed to match her perfectly, it all made her feel like it was all just happening for the first time.
Trying to keep her mind from wandering too far, Tivoli flicked her green eyes open, watching the small puffs of clouds drift by. Part of her did wonder where Kaito was, and, more importantly, if he was seeing all the things she was.

Kaito was not to far from her, creepy as it may seem to another he was watching Tivoli. His heart thumped passionately in his chest as she moved, sighed or looked to the sky. Her eye's burned with a very similar passion that his heart knew very well. They were in love, a love that bound them tightly together, as if their hearts were beating together. One life source. He moved his head, lifting his chin to the sky, his mane, long and freshly cleaned moved with ease down his neck, tickling where his pelt left free to be bothered.
They were new here, but he did not feel new. They were welcomed with open arms and warm smiles. A friendly hello and the picking of their clan was a start to their new beginning. He had triumphed over his want of wandering like his Father brought him up with, he had found a place he could easily call home and found a mate to call his own.
"Tivoli..." He whispers, it was almost as if he were breathing her name. Kaito found himself lifting his body from the welcoming cool feeling of the ground to move himself next to Tivoli. He matched her, back on the ground and belly up, paws loosely hanging at his chest and back legs flimsily dangling about. His tail flicked at Tivoli playfully, a smile playing at his lips. "How are you sweetie?"

Ears twitching automatically, Tivoli could just feel what it was that caused them to perk up. A grin growing on her face, Tivoli looked like a playful cub as she looked over at him as he approached. As he laid next to her, she twisted her body, nudging her forehead up against his fluffy main.
"You must've known I was thinking about you." Grinning at him, she rolled onto her side, lightly placing her paw against his chest. "My heart called to you." Staring directly at him, no one could convince Tivoli otherwise. Ever since they had first met, she just knew that their hearts were linked, tied together by some invisible thread.
"I was just...enjoying this wonderful place." Looking around as she spoke, she really did love this place. Everything had its own spirit, its own story, and she wanted to soak it all in. "What were you doing, off without me?" Nudging him lightly, she giggled quietly to herself.

Kaito felt every touch, and listened to every word, hanging on each syllable. Feeling her press against his chest and let go a soft sigh, one of pure joy. This was the life indeed. "Of course I knew, m'dear when are you not thinking of me." He giggled softly, teasing her whole heartedly. She could easily pull it back at him, his mind was rarely from thoughts of her.
Reacting to her touches he brought himself to his side and let his paws drag themselves around her, careful about getting any soil on her pelt. Mind you she had already been laying in it, but he felt bad tainting the pure color of sunlight that seemed to radiate off of her. "I was doing nothing, being my unadventurous self I suppose." Another giggle erupted.
Everyone who even just first had met Kaito knew better then to believe he wasn't up for a good adventure, or up for some kind of game. He was a creative mind and enjoyed a creative lifestyle. Thus his love for Tivoli, she was pure beauty nestled in the bosom of almighty creativity. The aura of her alone could make moods turn from sour to golden. He treasured that quality. "It sure is beautiful here Tivoli, I am glad we came here. So your day has been well?" He asked quietly.

Turning her head to the side, it was obvious that Tivoli's face now had a pinkish tone to it. Caught in his words, she was only a little blushed - she was more happy that he knew she was always thinking about him.
"I guess....you've got me there." Smiling sheepishly at him, her green eyes lingering in his. "You liar." Butting her head into him, she laughed at his words. If he wasn't an adventurous spirit, then they never would have met.
"It is; it's really captured me." She let out a content sigh, a small smile laying in its wake. There really was something about this place that just spoke to Tivoli; she had always felt a certain connection to the world around her, but here, it seemed to throb against her skin. "My day? It's been...well, how can I describe it?" Giggling a little, Tivoli never really wanted to compare her days to each other - they were all so different and unique, they could never just be meshed together.
"But I'll tell you what, I think my day just found its sparkle." Wiggling her nose at him, she lingered on his scent, wrapping it around her mind a thousand times over.

"There's that cute little nose wrinkle..." He brought a paw to her nose and tapped it playfully, enjoying the time with her. Every time time seeing her was like meeting a new person again and again. The feeling they had appeared everlasting and something like the fountain of youth. He gasped dramatically. "I am no liar!" His eyes gleamed and sparkled in the drama, he enjoyed himself in these moments.
"There comes a time in a young mans life where he just.. needs to stand up to his mate!" He got up and flailed himself giving her a good nudge, inducing a playful act of play fighting. Thought it occured often, it was never to rough to hurt, but they got to really just let it out. Just another moment they shared together. His musk, just between the heat and the sudden movements strengthened.
"Cmon Tivoli, come and get me!" His tone could not leave it's giggle stage, he was like a giant cub!

"Yeah yeah!" Shaking her head around in response to his paw, she felt like a little cub again. It was part of Kaito's draw, he always made Tivoli feel refreshed and good about herself.
Stared up at him for a few moments, with a look of bemused wonder on her face. She almost thought he was serious, that something was wrong, but those thoughts were quickly washed from her mind. "Stand up to me?" She slowly rose up from the ground, a sly smile rising on her face. "Never!" Letting out a laugh, she chased after him, not really trying too hard to catch up. She would follow Kaito wherever he would lead her, even if it was to the ends of the earth.
"Don't go too far!" Panting a bit, she slowed, her feeble and un-worked muscles starting to ware. Tivoli had never really been an active or an overly strong lioness; she wasn't fat or anything, but she was never quite as lean as she could have been. "I don't want to loose the other half of my heart." Dropping her head for a moment, she flipped her hair back and smiled at him, already missing his touch.

He returned to her in under a few seconds, he could never wander away from her when she was in this state. He felt it was his job to protect her and when he made her run about she was just that tad bit weaker. "Oh Tivoli.." He cooed lovingly. Enjoying the glint of slyness just moments before, but definitely felt his heart was fit to burst when she called to him. "How I adore you, I'd walk to the ends of the earth for you and protect you til my death, then return to protect you again.. as.. as anything that could protect." He smiled softly, seriousness radiating from his eye's, but a tenderness fell into his words.
"I also promise we'll get you more active!!" He giggled softly, teasing her loosely. He would never ever mean that in a bad way, never! He wasn't that kind of lion and he loved Tivoli through and through, regardless her appearance. Though she was a really good catch, Kaito figured that was mostly luck on his part to have found a lioness that was beautiful on the outside and the inside. He remembered that often and practically felt about 10 times bigger and tougher, he had something to defend now.
"Tivoli, I've been meaning to ask you something..." He was blushing now, he had approached her and was sitting directly in front of her. The blush caused him to look away, but he didn't glance far for long. He had had something on his mind for some time and was curious on Tivoli's outlook. "I would like to start a family someday..." He said, shy, but had an excited look in his eyes, knowing well that the blushing may be passed around.

Beaming at his words, Tivoli was practically rolling in joy. She felt so loved, and that was what meant the most to her. Without Kaito....well, she couldn't even imagine such a world.
"You're not calling me fat, are you?" Pawing at him playfully, she knew he meant no harm, she was just teasing him. Even if she was fat, she knew that things like that would never matter to him, not now.
Keeping a smile on her face, Tivoli watched Kaito as he drew nearer. She could feel a nervous lump rise in her as he kept on, his attitude causing it. She knew nothing was wrong, and it was more of a good nervous lump than a bad one. Ears perking up at his words, at first, they didn't really register. It wasn't long, however, until Tivoli's face started to burn with the same sensation that was covering his face. "Start a family?" Honestly, she hadn't really given it much thought. It wasn't because she didn't want one, more that her mind was just preoccupied with what was always standing right in front of her. It did sound quite wonderful, though, to start a family that epitomized their love.
"It does sound.....lovely...." Her voice faded out slightly; she felt like an adolescent talking about it. She was so happy that he had been thinking of it, because Tivoli was always so absent minded, she wouldn't have ever thought of it herself. When she was with him, her thoughts barely escaped him.

Kaito's blush was emphasized by her almost hesitating words, he shrugged off her statements lightly and sat in front her, eye's glued to hers. "I hadn't meant to bring something up that you may not be ready for..." He purred softly, searching with a glimmer of hope that she was as ready as he was, he didn't want to push, poke or prod, but he was striving for a great future for her and he knew she was thinking it in the back of her mind, recalling how easily she was excited from one thing to another.
"I mean, just consider it will you?" He asks quietly, eye's averting from her's and tail flicking lightly. The blush was firmly placed on his dark brown cheeks, he almost seemed to glow right to his tail. "We don't have to, not yet, but just a thought!" He giggled, perking himself back up and was back to his appropriate mood.

"No no, that's not it..." Shaking her head softly, a small grin rose on her face. She closed her eyes for a few moments, flicking them open as she turned to look at him. "My mind just tends to zero in on one thing and not ever expand on the idea." Letting her eyes slide off somewhere, she felt kind of....bubbly.
"It really....makes me happy that you said something....though." Trying not to be overcome by her emotions, Tivoli turned to the side. "Because now, that thought will just....consume my mind." Letting out a laugh, she turned back to him, her checks turning red in a bright blush. It seemed like an odd thing to say, but it was true - that's just the way Tivoli's mind worked. Sometimes it made her seem overly oblivious, but it also made her extremely determined and focused when her mind was led in the right direction.

Noting how she had reacted this time Kaito became appropriately excited, his eye's even swelled brilliantly with the glimmer of excited tears. "Mines forever Tivoli, you are the most precious gift the Gods have bestowed on a poor wandering soul like me. We share so many things in common, yet you never cease to amaze me. You are the apple of my eye..." He smiled, feeling rather 'poetic'. His heart was racing, paws shaking with sudden energy. he wanted to run, be free with her, enjoy the time with her like they always did.
"We shall be the proudest parents when we get to having children Tivoli, I sure hope our girls get your beauty and our boys get your smarts!" He was full of giggles and compliments, it was all he could do to survive the blood rush to his cheeks. The giddyness could not be contained much longer and he found himself lunging at Tivoli, full force in a playful way. Paws pushing her body backwards.
"We will be parents!!" He had hoped all his childhood this day would come, and it hadn't even arrived yet. They still had ways to go, his mind was much like Tivolis and wandered quickly.

Watching him for a few moments, it made Tivoli so happy to know that she had made him so excited with just a few words. He was hers, and hers alone, and she felt that even more in this moment.
"Oh goodness!" Taking in a deep breath, she took it all in. It seemed more official now, with him all excited in front of her. "Nothing from you? We can't just have them pumped full of me!" Laughing at his words, she nudged him with her shoulder.
"Mm, I sure hope so." Looking up at him after being knocked back, she tried to imagine herself as a parent. The image that came to her was more of Kaito leading as a father while Tivoli morphed into one of the cubs....

Kaito was exasperatedly the most excited lion there could be. Energy flared through him like solar flares and jumped through every muscle, he wanted to twitch, run, jump and cuddle Tivoli all at the same time, his excitement was full to the extent and he sighed softly. Imagination grabbing him away to see him and Tivoli, playing, teaching at the same time, but playing with their cubs. THEIR cubs. "Our cubs..." He said dreamily. He absent mindedly brought a paw to her belly.
"I wonder what it will feel liek for you, to have something wriggling inside of you..." He wondered out loud, eyes widening in almost fear, curious fear. He curled up tight to her, recalling vaguely the pain on his Mothers face as his other siblings were born. He prayed silently Tivoli would not suffer much, but he still wanted the cubs and was sure she wanted them too.

Staring at him for a few moments, Tivoli couldn't help but giggle a little. But somewhere deep within her, a lump of nervousness was growing. It was....a good thing, at least, she considered it one. After all, if there wasn't some form of nervousness, then she wouldn't think the timing was right.
Hearing his next question, Tivoli's could feel her face heat up. "Oh goodness, Kaito, you ask the silliest questions." Laughing, she really did wonder what everything would feel like. It was like taking steps into a deep, black hole, but she felt at ease as long as Kaito was the one taking the same steps next to her. "I guess we'll just have to....find out." Giving him a devious grin, she licked his cheek, letting out a light laugh. It was just too much fun, being together with him.
