After the eventful weekend night at the club, and a fairly busy work week at her shop, Izumi needed a break; Not so much a break from working, but a break to do things like get groceries, take the trash out, and tend to her plants. Izumi's shop and apartment were full of plants, but her plants were different than normal plants, all of her plants were dead--Even a pathetic looking cactus in the corner had managed to wither and die. She patrolled her home, writing down what she needed to resupply or replace. It was a short patrol; Her home was a small apartment above her machine shop, and most of the free space was taken up by spare parts that she couldn't find a spot for in the main part of the building.

The result was a trip into the nicer part of Camphoreon, a lengthy walk away from her home, to shop at a nursery. Izumi never gave up when another batch of her plants died, she just bucked up and replaced them and started over. So there was a small woman with bright blue hair and silver eyes walking down the rows of plants with a cart, a white beldum with a glowing blue eye following close behind her. "Hmm... What do you think, Wheatley? Lillies or Posies?" The pokemon's glowing eye stared unblinking at the eccentric looking human. He didn't really care about flowers...

There was a frustrated sigh from the end of the aisle where the blue haired girl had just dropped from crouching on the ground to sitting, showing no regard for the cleanliness of her oil-stained jeans on the soil-covered ground. "What- Do you think this would grow?" She looked up at the Beldum floating silently beside her and let out a pathetic whimpering sigh, "I know... I know... But I really want to grow something, Wheatley. Maybe if we get more dirt- or what if I- no... how about- am I using enough pesticide? Should I buy some fertilizer?"

The glowing blue eye of the pokemon rotated towards the sky, but the creature remained silent.

The human hadn't noticed anything, and though she seemed to talking to the pokemon, what she was really doing was talking to herself; Not to say she wasn't trying to talk to her pokemon, but the Beldum didn't seem to be paying any attention. "Wheatley..."

The Beldum turned to face its eye towards the Pikachu, the eye seeming to rotate, zooming in and out getting a better look at the other pokemon. It was holding out a paw... Wheatley didn't have a paw... "Dum..."

"What? Oh- Whats- Hello..." Izumi looked surprised to see the Pikachu on the shelf near her pokemon, and didn't seem too sure what to do about it.

The glowing blue eye rotated as the pikachu got closer, retracting slightly to compensate for how close the other pokemon was. "Dum..." What was it doing? How was it floating? What was the other pokemon? Would an electric pokemon touching him cause him to malfunction and fall apart? The Beldum floated slowly away from Kiss Kiss, not wanting to find out the answer to the last thought.

"Oh? Really? Posies..." The girl, who was very obviously covered in slightly metallic, green tattoos meant to look like the circuitry in a machine, hummed thoughtfully to herself. Posies... She pushed herself to her feet and looked around. "... Um- W-what are posies?" A strange question from a person in a nursery.

"Oh- Thank you. Hmm..." Izumi reached out a hand that appeared to be gloved to inspect the plant, or at least look like she knew what she was doing. There was a paper tab in the pot, which the woman pulled out to get a better look at; It had different information on it- sunlight needs, temperature, etc... None of it really made sense to her, and it was obvious on her face.

"What- Oh-" She was snapped out of her concentrating by the girl's complementing of her 'markings'. "My tattoos? Thank you..." She said that a lot. "They're circuits..."

Wheatley really didn't seem to want to be touched, and only continued retreating when the Pikachu resumed its attempt to get close. 'Rrrrmmm..." It hummed in distress, worried about the possibility that an electric pokemon could disrupt its processes and kill it. That would be horrible!

"Um... yes. Sort of. Yes." Izumi placed the card back into the posies pot; She didn't so much have a garden as she did lots of individual pots and the plastic containers many plants came in. There wasn't much of a yard at her home to plant anything in. "... What are those?" She pointed the hand with some sort of black cover towards the flowers the other girl had picked up.

The Beldum floated well above the ground and turned its eye towards the water pokemon, though he said nothing, simply observed it.

Izumi leaned down slightly to inspect and smell the Azaleas. "... Yes." She looked over at her Beldum and then back at the flowers, unsure of what would happen if she bought them and took them home. "Do they die? Easily?"

His blue light was cut off as two shutters slid down over his eye and he rotated the ball that was his head, as if turning his nose up.

Proper light and water--of course she gave her plants proper light and water-- there were lights on in her shop, and she watered them plenty. If that was all it took, her plants should have been growing. Maybe she was just buying sick plants...

"I'm Izumi..." She stared at the Azalea, thinking very seriously about buying it. The Beldum clicked and whirred, glowing eye focused on its owner. "Oh- this is Wheatley."

The pokemon whirred, offended that the electric rodent didn't even understand simple things like conductivity.
