Welcome to the b/c interest thread for Kingdoms of Isonia. This shop is an epic type breedable shop set in an AU outside of Gaia. The pets are based on creatures of mythology, so if you like unicorns, gryphons, and their ilk, then read on and discover the magic of Isonia!

Overview
The story of this b/c takes place on the continent of Isonia. There are four kingdoms, each with their own specialties, climate and people. The clothing styles and customs are different in each kingdom but can often times be similar to places here on Earth. Each kingdom has their own king to rule over them. As well as these kings, there is a person called the Golden King who presides over all the kingdoms of Isonia, acting as the peace keeper and supreme ruler over all.


The Continent of Isonia
Isonia is broken up into four parts and into four basic land and climate types. The four kingdoms of Isonia are as follows:

Toleris: Is the largest and most prosperous of the four kingdoms and know for their happy and laid back lifestyle. The Capital City is the center hub of trade and commerce for the entire continent. Toleris is filled with merchants and the like and relies heavily on trade from the other kingdoms. As for the land itself, it's mainly covered in lush forests and open meadows and generally keeps balmy, summertime temperatures. Torelis' flag is a rising sun behind a rearing unicorn. There clothing style is mix of the arabian and asian style.

Sephanos: Is the second largest kingdom and most well known for their artisan and high society lifestyle. Sephanos' main source of income is their tourism. Many come from all over to view the spiraling heights of their cities and their lush, hanging gardens. The land is a mostly mountainous region and has a crisply cold climate. Sephanos' flag is a pegasus flying through the clouds. There clothing style is close to that of Europe from any era.

Eraldis: Is the third largest kingdom and the most rural. Most of the continents' food comes from part of Eraldis' flat plain lands. While it is a simple kingdom, they still have a well developed fishing marina as well ship productions. While half of the land is plains ideal for farming, the other half is marsh and lake lands, allowing the climate to fluctuate from very warm to very cool. Eraldis' flag is that of a kelpie in repose. Their clothing style is simple, containing organic elements that resemble that of the 1800s in North America.

Demios: Is by far the smallest and most desolate of all the kingdoms. The land is separated from the main continent by a narrow channel and is considered to be uninhabitable by many. Demios is used as land of exile, the society's most untasteful of people being sent there as punishment. Demios is a frozen tundra of ice and snow, offering a harsh existence for those who live their, either by choice or forced. Demios does have the largest gem and mineral deposits and in the continents main source of weaponry. Their flag is that of wyrm breathing fire and their clothing style is mix of Mongolian, Russian, and Alaskan.

There are a myriad of different mythological creatures a person can choose from to make into a pet and can range from fairies to swanmaidens. Honestly, the skies the limits for what creatures can be suggested. The pets of this b/c are basically gijinka of their mythological counterparts. For example, if you wanted a unicorn female, then your character would be a humanoid girl with different anthro parts ranging from her unicorn horn, ears, tail, ect. As well a being a gijinka, each character has the ability to shift into their magical animal forms as well as possess certain magical abilities.

These ARE NOT anthro characters at all and players are required to keep their characters 80% humanoid.

The mythical creatures in this shop are based on rarity going from common to legendary. There will be a master list set up later of all currently accepted creatures as well as a forum to suggest new magical creatures to add to said list.

Along with this, certain creatures can only be found in certain part of the kingdom and MUST start out in their kingdom. For example, a pegasus can only before in Sephanos and must start out their life somewhere in that kingdom. Sometimes during special events a person can chose their character to live in any kingdom despite the normal boundaries.



Character Stages:

Stages will be done according to a characters job rank. Instead of just the simple confines of child, teen, adult, ect a character will be defined by his or her rank. This will allow the player more freedom when choosing a character's age and origins.

There will be a master list of all acceptable jobs as well as a thread to suggest new jobs. There might also be a job board where all currently available jobs are listed.


The stages are as follows:

Novice: This is the stage where your character is first starting out. It's time to choose a job and stop being a freeloading vagabond!

Apprentice: Well, you've finally found a job. Now what? This is the stage where you're working your butt off from sun-up to sun-down.

Journeyman: You've finally mastered some of your trade and are trusted to actually work without someone looking over your shoulder. You get to travel now, so that's a good thing, right?

Master: After all that hard work, you're finally a master! What're you going to do now? And no, going to Disneyland is not an option.

Flatsales:

Every flatsale in this shop is prompt based and a person will be required to write different things depending on the flatsale prompt. Promtps can range from a simple character building form to a written description of the character's life.

For the most part, flatsales will contain common creatures and sometimes have an uncommon or rare creature thrown in as a bonus. The type of common creatures most sold during flatsale will be, unicorns, zebracorns, hellhounds, and kelpies, each representing their our separate kingdoms.

Auctions, Raffles, and other Events:

There will be different special events other than flatsales that will be held in the shop and guild. These events will be the time when a person would be able to acquire uncommon, rare, and legendary pets outside of flatsales.
