Nest of MaggotsThe Ujimushi no Su (蛆虫の巣, Nest of Maggots) is a prison under the supervision of the third corps (known as the Detention Unit) of the Onmitsukidō.
It is located on the grounds of the Second Division, and is surrounded by a moat as well as dense forest. On the inside, on ground-level, it resembles a cave with an area for prisoners. When a Shinigami becomes a potential danger to other Shinigami and Soul Society, that Shinigami is brought to the Maggot's Nest for imprisonment, regardless if they were put on trial; this is to ensure no danger will be brought to Soul Society. All prisoners are not held inside a cell (since they cannot set foot outside the prison). The exception is the Maggot's Nest's infamous former resident: Mayuri Kurotsuchi, considered at the time an exceptionally dangerous person. Treatment for the prisoners is mostly lenient; they can walk freely and converse with one another, but the bleak setting drives many to madness.
Neither the staff (called jailers) of the Detention Unit nor any other visitors are permitted to carry a Zanpakutō into the Maggot's Nest; visitors must deposit them at the entrance. This measure means that the jailers are required to be able to control the prisoners with bare hands. If a Shinigami desires to enter and is not adept at hand-to-hand combat, they may not enter. This is to prevent rebellions and escapes from the prison.
Below ground level, however, is the real prison of the Soul Society, where devious criminals are kept in confinement. The entirety of the underground prison is lined with Sekkiseki, preventing abilities from being used while within.
Level One: Kinsoku Naraku (禁足奈落, Confinement Hell) The first level of the prison below the ground, Kinsoku is the most populated where those who have committed the minor crimes are sent to. Like a typical prison, it is full of jail cells where prisoners are kept and moderated with food and such. Those who have broken the following laws are sent here;
It is against the law for a Shinigami to give their spiritual power to Humans. It is against the law to attack a captain. To do so is treason. It is against the law for the Gotei 13 to meddle in the affairs of the noble families unless the family in question breaks one of the laws of Soul Society beyond a shadow of a doubt. It is a crime for a Shinigami to remain in the Human World longer than a certain time limit. It is punishable by law to threaten, disrespect, or bring harm to any member of a Noble Family regardless of reason.
Level Two: Mōjū Naraku (猛獣奈落, Wild Beast Hell) The second level of the Nest of Maggots, Mōjū is a vast dungeon closed-off from the stairs used to go up and down. Like Kinsoku, it seems typical of any prison, but it less populated and is guarded by Hollow put under the control of a specific branch of the 12th Division via collars. It is not uncommon for prisoners at this level to be taken by the 12th Division for experimentation. Those who have broken the following laws are sent here;
It is against the law for a Shinigami to use forbidden Kidō except when use is permitted by the reigning commander or the Central 46. It is against the law to commit murder. It is against the law to kill a Human that a Shinigami has not been ordered to kill.
Level Three: Enkatsu Naraku (円滑奈落, Uninterrupted Hell) Enkatsu is the lowest level of the Nest of Maggots. It is where prisoners who are insanely powerful, have caused crimes extremely atrocious, and/or whose mere existences have become a major threat to the Soul Society itself are kept. The prisoners on this level have usually been given either the death penalty or a life sentence, and are forbidden to be spoken of; they are essentially erased from history. In this level, prisoners are bound from head to toe in bandages made of Sekkiseki, seated in a single chair in the middle a pitch black dungeon, and are given only enough food and water to stay alive until their execution/death. Those who have broken the following laws are sent here;
It is against the law to commit terrorist action(s) or attempt overthrow of the balance of Soul Society. To do so is treason. It is against the law for any citizen of Soul Society to create weapons of a dangerous nature not sanctioned by the feudal government. To do so is treason.

__❀ A M A H A R A--K I R I K O ❀ ( F A K E ) _____________[天原 みうら]___S-Class José in hand, or rather, over her shoulder, the Fake Kiriko silently tasked with ensuring the survival and well-being of the real José Vargas stalled as she stood atop the wall surrounding the 2nd Division. To her left, she saw that a building and two parts of the walls had been taken out by something. She had no idea it was because of Tsukiko, but that didn't matter to her either. Scanning the area, she saw how the wall provided three directions of decent cover, and the thick forest did even better. Leaping from the wall, the woman landed in the forest, unfortunately between two Onmitsukido members. As soon as they noticed her, she noticed them, and in a flash, flicked two pieces of paper one at each of them, and folded them over their mouths and noses, holding them there as they struggled to pull them off. Asphyxiation set in before they could accomplish this, and as soon as they hit they ground, Kiriko recalled the papers, straightened them out, and returned them to the journal in her cloak. Out of all the other copies, she was the only Kiriko to get a copy of the journal for obvious reasons. For starters, she was the only one who needed to protect something for real, and the journal being hidden in her coat meant that it was unnecessary to duplicate it for the others for the purpose of tricking the enemy; if they couldn't see it right away, there was no need. This left the real Kiriko the availability for the other eight copies for herself in case she needed more paper.
Kiriko quickly retreated further into the forest until she found a suitable area to set José down. "Easy does it." Given her moderate amount of physical strength, the fake Kiriko set him down rather hard instead of setting him down softly. Once he was down, she reached into her coat and ripped off a square inch of paper that she stuck onto one of the chain links that rested near his stomach. Not bothering to tell José what she was about to do, she exploded the piece of paper, which chipped away at the link as the explosion was so small it wouldn't even hit him "Hmm.. not enough. Guess I'll have to keep trying then." After a few more tries, the link had a sizable chunk taken out of it, but it still refused to break. Kiriko folded her tongue over her upper lip, and then produced several pieces of paper that folded themselves into a mallet and a chisel. Kiriko tilted her head back so her bangs cast a shadow over her eyes, and while cracking a comically crazed smile, she put the chisel against the chain link, then raised the mallet before bringing it crashing down on the link, cracking it into two. Kiriko had to react quickly to stop the chisel from going further and stabbing José in the stomach, and was able to do so by yanking it away almost as soon as she had hit. With the link broken, the rest of the chains dissolved, setting him free from their constriction. Kiriko, happy that she had not killed her student while trying to free him, breathed a sigh of relief and slumped up against the tree behind her. "Why did you come here on your own?" With a noise of contempt, the woman removed her glasses and rubbed the bridge of her nose to express exactly what she was feeling right now. Location: Nest of Maggots (Surrounding Forest)

________________________________________________________________________________________________Jose Vargas____________________________________________________________________________________________Fullbringer________________________________________________________________________________________ Still completely dumbstruck at the turn of events that has befallen him, Jose was reduced to a semi-responsive state of mind by the time Kiriko, or rather a fake copy of his apparently Fullbringer teacher, ran off with him while several similarly cloned Joses and Kiriko's ran amok in Seiretei. Certainly the fact that his teacher was a Fullbringer, though shocking on its own, was hardly shocking enough to cause such a meltdown. But the delivery and sequence of events set up his mind like a well orchestrated Rube Goldberg machine, from the moment he discovered the Senkaimon’s ornamental doors that literally hanged in mid-air, through his harrowing journey across the membranous cavities of the Dangai and his subsequent arrival in the oddly war torn and relatively ancient landscape of Soul Society. He was able to stave off the effects these events had on his minds during his duel with Yori, though it was also more of a need as he couldn’t afford dropping to the fetal position mid-combat, but this eventually gave way anyway.
Thus, such as he was, he didn’t move or talk much as the fake Kiriko leapt across the Seiretei, arriving in Squad 2’s Maggot’s Nest and then subduing a pair of guards shortly upon arrival. Fortunately, fake Kiriko’s muttering snapped him back to reality, just seconds before he was slammed, albeit accidentally, on the ground ”Gah!” came the response as his body wriggled a bit in response to the sharp pain that radiated from his back. Eventually the pain subsided, but no sooner had it done so that Jose noticed Kiriko slip in a piece of paper in between his bindings and himself. Before he could ask her what it was, the paper suddenly exploded, and though it wasn’t painful it still scared the pants off Jose, figuratively of course ”H-hey! Didn’t you say not to play with fireworks?!” he stammered out and attempted to wiggle back away from the woman before she slipped in more pieces of paper, much to his annoyance as from his point of view it was like a real live firecracker.
After a few unsuccessful tries, Jose let out a sigh of relief as Kiriko seemed to have given up on the idea. But he was in for a sore surprise when his supposedly introverted teacher produced a mallet and chisel seeming out of thin air. Not needing to be told what she was about to do, Jose struggled to back away from the crazed woman, to no avail ”K-Kiriko-sensei!” he protested, but was silenced as the woman swung the mallet down towards the chisel, breaking the chain and then withdrawing before she caused damage to her student. Horrified at the thought of being chiseled to death by his own teacher, Jose felt every last bit of strength remaining in his body slip away as he slumped back into a daze before his teacher’s tone of voice and question to him hurried him back to his senses. A silence fell between them before he could muster the courage to speak up ”Well, because I’m--“ a superhero, is what he would have said, but stopped himself at the last second ”It’s because I thought I was the only one who… well… could, you know, use powers and stuff.” he stuttered, having difficulty in choosing the right words as he didn’t know the term Fullbring, or Fullbringer ”So I thought it was my duty to come here and rescue Hiiragi Emiya, since I couldn’t exactly tell anyone what I knew.”

__❀ A M A H A R A--K I R I K O ❀ _____________[天原 みうら]___S-Class "So, you mean to tell me that even though you have spiritual awareness and Fullbring, you've gone to school with both Emiya-chan and Kuzumi-kun and haven't even noticed they were different?" Kiriko pinched the bridge of her nose and exhaled a deep sigh. She hadn't expected Jose to be clueless of the fact that there were others like him, he had gone after Emi to begin with. "Your grades aren't even that bad, I thought you had figured it out on your own. That is to say, since you went directly to the Soul Society to rescue her, I assumed you must have known the situation at hand. But there I find you, captured, likely moments after you arrived, and about to be taken to jail. Am I to understand you came all the way here without the slightest idea of what was going on?" before she let him answer, she reached into her coat pocket, retrieved the journal, and moved to strike him on the head with the spine. "BAKA! There's something to be said about recklessness, and this takes the cake. Of all the stupid things one can do on their own, going into the Soul Society without any clue of what's going on has got to be the stupidest!" Kiriko was now enraged, but in a comical sense to show she was upset, but not pissed. "What did you think when you saw the Dangai, huh? Walls oozing, OOZING WALLS, Vargas-kun! Why would you continue?! Was it not warning enough? Baka baka baka!" Repeatedly she struck him over the head in several quick downward motions until she decided that it was enough and tucked the book back in her coat. Back on her feet now, the older woman returned to shaking her head at the adolescent. "Get up. If we're to make it to where Emiya-chan is, then you're going to have to be more stealthy than I assume you were when you first got here." She took one look at the boy and began moving towards the wall that separated this area with the 1st Division grounds, motioning him to follow. "No, I sincerely doubt you even tried to be quiet. Now, be quiet... I'm going to go invisible, use your aura sense to follow." As quiet as a mouse, Kiriko padded across the forest floor, slowly fading from sight as she utilized Hitokurei, assuming Jose would do the same. As quickly as her feet would carry her without Jinsokurei, Kiriko moved towards the wall, and as soon as she reached the foot of it, changed the ground's elasticity and jumped straight over the wall and into the open area on the other side.

________________________________________________________________________________________________Jose Vargas____________________________________________________________________________________________Fullbringer________________________________________________________________________________________ Sensing Kiriko’s growing irritation, Jose shifted his eyes away from his teacher. He felt like he was being scolded for coming to school late, and that feeling never sat comfortably with him. As Kiriko continued, Jose felt the need to interject a bit, if only to defend himself ”T-that’s not--“ but before he could continue Kiriko’s journal smacked him right on the head, followed by a resounding ‘Idiot!’ as she continued. All at once her introverted façade fell apart in Jose’s mind ”Ki-Kiriko-sensei, calm do-- ouch!” protested Jose before he was assaulted by a seemingly endless assault of strikes to the head. Covering his head with his hands, it was the best he could do to shield himself from his teacher’s comical punishment.
Eventually, the barrage ceased and Jose was able to peak from his eyelids to look at Kiriko ”Y-yes, Kiriko-sensei.” it was all he could manage to reply back, it was a rather shocking experience to see his teacher’s violent side and he was in no rush to see it again. Standing up, he did as he was instructed and followed her closely, and silently, scratching his head and looking away at her comments about his method of doing things. As Kiriko went invisible, Jose did so as well and focused to keep track of her as he was not accustomed to tracking non-hollow presences, so he was only able to follow her as long as he was close by. Suddenly, however, her presence faded, looking around Jose saw a nearby wall and guessed he had gone over it. Spanning the wall’s height in a single jump using his Fullbring powers, Jose landed on the other side, where he found Kiriko’s aura again.
