Ami walks in and looks around. "I guess i'm the first one in here for the new year. Well i'm going to take the right side of the room as mine."

I entered the room and saw my roommate, Ami. I smiled at her and went to the bed on the left side of the room, it was beside the window. I flopped down on the bed, since I was pretty tired.
"Hey, Ami. I`m Blair."
I said in one breath and immediately fell asleep.

I woke up because I was feeling really hot. The room started feeling as if it was on fire. I sneezed.
"Well, been here for about 10-12 years. I usually go out during Summer and sometimes, I don't go back immediately. So yeah. Did you turn the heater on or something?"
I looked around for the heater's switch. I couldn't stand the heat and I felt like I was a melting ice... literally.

"oh sorry I was a bit cold" Ami said as she ceased heating herself up with her powers. "I started to come here ever since some X Men of an earler group found me" Ami relyed with a sadded painful tone.

I noticed the sadness in her voice. I hated to push it, but I was just dying to know why she's sad.

"First I've never known my father, then when I was four I discovered my powers and my mom didn't wan't anything to do with me. When I came home from Early Advance Education School she wasn't home and i didn't have a key so I waited at the steps of our house four three day with no showing of my mother. Since then I've been on the rund from both Mutant Haters who would jump with no hestation to kill me with out care as well as from other Mutants who I thought would try to use me just for my powers. Then when I was 13 some of the members of the X Men who have since deceased found me nearly dead. After that I've lived here training to become an X Men, and attending school here at the Institute." Ami said now almost near tears because of her haunting past.

The day after the first day of classes Ami skipt all her classes and was no where on campus after she left her dorm.
