Name: Mist
Location: It is a small village located in a valley north of Baron and southwest of Damcyan. It is a town inhabited by a Summoner tribe, and is thus Rydia's hometown.
Description: A small village with a couple of homes, a mayor’s house, armory store and small lake on the southwest and northeast sides of the town. It was originally burnt down by Cecil Harvey and Kain Highwind on their errand by the King of Barron to deliver the Carnelian Signet there. It killed most of the summoners in the village while Rydia managed to survive, mainly in part by Cecil’s concern for her safety. Seventeen years later, Rydia has returned and began to rebuild the village with the support of her friends.
Landmarks: The Mist cave to the west of the city. It is surrounded by mountains thanks to an avalanche caused by Rydia when she summoned Titan as there used to be a path to the Damcyan desert.
Monsters:
Outside of town-
Goblin, Domovoi, Gray bombs, bombs, Gargoyles, Crockatrice, Spirits, Skeletons and sword rats (According to FFIV: The After Years)

______________________________________________________________________________ Rydia had wandered rather far from the mansion, just walking aimlessly before blinking. What was it doing there? It was the Mist Cavern and beyond that was the village of Mist! Without a second thought the summoner went running for her village, never had she been so happy in her life! Avoiding the monsters and running from them when they seemed to think they cornered her, the green haired woman who had been so very much homesick was now feeling a great deal better. After fighting her way to the village she smiled and headed right into town. Upon entering, her eyes gazed around in awe, everything was how she had left it, and more buildings were in the process of being built. Standing there she began to walk around, smiling at the people that knew her, giving waves of hello before moving to her home.
Slowly opening the door, because it was a small village and they were peaceful, she never worried about locking it. Her home was just how she had left it, everything in neat order, unless one checked the state of her bed. Speaking of which, the young woman began for the back room, this was the home she had shared with her mother, only one floor and one bedroom, oh it was small but Rydia loved it with all her heart. There in the back bedroom, was her messy bed, a picture that one of her monster friends in Feymarch had drawn for her, it was a picture of her mother. Quietly she sat down on the bed and picked up the picture. ”I am home…” After a moment she realized something and summoned up a sylph with ease. ”I need you to take a message to Edge… he is not terribly far from here.” After a minute she began to make up the message to be sent.

Stop crying! I have... This battle is ours as much as anyone's.

And having some Eidolons along can't hurt, can it? You're not the only one
who's lost loved ones!

Edward Edge Geraldine You think are rage...a weakness... Edge walked into mist village and sighed "Now were did that girl go, i swear kids have delusions of things alot" he then walked over to rydia's house and looked around "wonder if rydia is in?"...Then let me show you how wrong you are!

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Rain had run straight for her mother’s home, throwing the door open and only to pause as the place seemed… smaller. ”Mama?” She called softly.Rydia blinked at the sound of a girl before climbing out of her bed and walking to the front room. Right away Rydia saw a girl from her past, it was her! As her sylph had returned all she could do was stand there and blink before passing out and falling to the floor with a heavy thunk.Rain blinked as her mother came out but watched the woman faint. Sighing she looked towards her chocobo. ”I think mama, is really tired.” Slowly she began to move to the door and saw her father. ”Papa… mama passed out again. I think she is really tired.” The girl spoke to Edge before running back inside and began to rummage through Rydia’s house.
"Adults think they know everything just because they are older. They also think they have the right to boss us little ones around. I will show them, I am stronger and smarter than they think I am!"

Edge quickly grabbed rydia and held her to him and lifted her and put her on her bed then looked at the girl "look i dont know you so just...." before he could finish Rubicante walked into the house and looked at them "Its cause she's from the future, she's just a spazz and she forgot to tell you, im rubicante your first born son" Edge blinked and well shocking as it is he believed it cause of all the other future children running about "Ok so rubicante take your sister and ummmmm get your mom some water" Rubicante looked to rainia and sighed "get mom some water spazz"...Then let me show you how wrong you are!

______________________________________________________________________________ Rain frowned at Rubicante, tears began to well up in her eyes again. ”Fine!” Turning around as she left the two, she left the house to get some fresh water at the small lake. When she closed the door she slammed it shut behind her. Walking off towards the northern lake with her head hung. ”Rubicante is so mean. I really do hate him.” She stated softly to her chocobo before sitting down at the edge of the lake. Tucking her legs close to her chest as she sat there. ”If Rubicante wants me to get water, he can get it himself.” She spoke while crying, reaching up to rub her eyes of her tears.Rydia reached up putting a hand on her head as she realized she was in bed. Barely registering anything the two males were saying, the green eyes began to slip open. ”Edge?” She questioned for a moment as she realized her head was pounding. ”I… I thought I saw…” Deciding not to finish it, last thing Rydia wanted to think was that he was crazy. After a bit she saw the other male and tried to think on who he was and only thing that came to mind was it had to be someone Edge knew otherwise he would not be here.You're a man, aren't you?

Edge walked over to rydia and smiled at here "well this young man is our son......from the future and that girl is a our duaghter, his name is Rubicante and hers is Rainia" he then looked to the young man and smiled at him "so ummm you do look like me, so are you a good ninja?" Rubicante smiled at his dad then his mom "well of cource i am you trianed me, and mother....im a very good summoner, now i'll be back" he then walked of to the lake and snuck up behind rainia ad quickly grabbed her and lifted her over his shoulders "come on sis im sorry no more tears, lets go formally introduce our selfs to our parents like they tought us to do"...Then let me show you how wrong you are!

Waiting until the younger male left before looking at Edge, Rydia was very confused. ”Our… children? Rainia… the girl… she cared me. I thought I was having some bad flashback of my past.” Reaching up she rubbed the back of her head for a moment then let her eyes closed. It seemed so much to take in, two children, one very much grown up… a ninja and a summoner in one? Seemed to be very interesting to her but also unusual. I am sure he is a force to reckon with. As Rain was picked up by Rubicante she struggled against him. ”Put me down! I hate you! I will runaway, I mean it! I will runaway and never come back again. Not that anyone cares because every one loves you! Mr. Perfect.” Her hands beat against his back a bit, as hard as she could hit him. ”I don’t want to see mama and papa… they don’t like me anyways.” You're a man, aren't you?

Edge smiled "well i guess, are children carry both of are skills, i hope its for good and not evil, they dont seem evil tho" he then kissed her and smiled again "she did look like you alot tho rydia"Rubicante put rainia on the ground and kneeled down infront of her "look rain, i was like you at your age, not able to use the simplest spell, it just takes time, i bet dad will trian you and mom will as well, you just gotta remeber this is the past, they don t know us yet so they cant hate you, this is a year before i was even born, so no worrys alright, you are fine they dont hate you"...Then let me show you how wrong you are!

Slowly she wrapped her arms around him, cuddling up close to his side. ”Yes, she does look a lot like me… exactly like me. You know if you saw me when I was that age, you would also see it is exactly like me as well. I am guessing Rubicante is a name that you probably came up with.” A small smile crossed her lips, it sounded like something he would do really. Oddly she did not mind it either, it almost seemed perfect really. After a moment, she reached for his hand, just holding it. Once she was put down, Rain just glared at Rubicante, tears still falling from her eyes. Her eyes widened as he said it was a year before he was born, suddenly the girl looked at Sasha who was quick to come to her side. After a moment a smile crossed her face before looking at Rubicante. ”A year before you were born, huh?” Meaning if she messed with anything he would not be born. ”If you want me to be good then you better do what I say or I will mess things up for us.”

Rubicante sighed at rain, he knew what she was thinking "rain, why would you even think that, thats naughty thoughts, im your brother, your just 7 so calm down, just watch when you get to my age you will be as good as i am in everything i can do and you will one day have your own unique Eidolon" he then lifted her up and carried her to the house and took her inside and put her down and he then walked up to edge and rydia "hello king Edward and queen Rydia, i am prince Rubicante Geraldine and hier to the elban throne, Master ninja as trianed by Lord Edward Geraldine and high summoner as trained by Rydia Geraldine"....Well i guess thats new to hear

______________________________________________________________________________ Rydia blinked as she watched Rubicante walk back in, listening to what he had to say though she noticed Rain leaving the room. It made her wonder a bit if the child hated them for some reason. Turning her attention back to her son, she smiled. ”You turned out to be a rather nice young man.” Slowly she stood up and moved to her son, hugging him gently. ”You said, high summoner? That means you have surpassed me then?” Of course while she had learned to summon the king and queen of monsters, she was never given the title of high summoner. Perhaps it was disobeying the queen by leaving Feymarch to rebuild my home.
Rain frowned as Rubicante carried her inside, once she was set down, she crossed her arms over her chest and looked away from both adults while Rubicante did his whole introduction. Meanwhile Rain just turned and walked away, sitting on the floor where she reached up and petted Sasha. She had no want to act stuck up like her brother. Saying nothing to no one, she nearly rolled her eyes at how stuck up Rubicante was. As Sasha kwee’d at her, trying to cheer up Rain but nothing was working. After a moment Rain thought about running off and leaving everyone. Pulling her knees to her chest as she sat there, she meant it, she would mess things up to see that Rubicante was not born. Too bad I can’t do that to Cuore. Hiding her face against her knees, she began to cry a bit more, showing no interest in speaking to anyone.

Rubicante smiled at his mom then hugged her back "well mother it is a term you gave me after meeting The lady yuna...well you havent met her yet, she's a summoner that my god father cecil knows from some war" he then looked to the door and sighed "mother will you go talk to rainia, i think she wants to mess with you guys so i wont be born"....Well i guess thats new to hear

Sitting down beside her, she just smiled a bit. ”She is special to you, huh?” Rain frowned at her mother, refusing to talk until she had asked her about Sasha. ”I brought Sasha here, she doesn’t ever want to leave me. So we have been together for two years. She is always by me.” ”I see, that is a very special bond to have with your summons. You must take good care of her, huh? Seeing the girl nod, Rydia smiled a bit. ”You are so grown up, taking care of your friend like that. What is her name?” ”Her name is Sasha… she told me so.” ”She must really love you if she told you her name. Can you do anything your father does?”Standing up proudly, Rain put her hands on her hips. ”I am the world’s greatest ninja! Papa said I was. He said I was better than him.” Rain smiled brightly at her mother. ”Oh, so you are good are you?” Seeing the girl nod, Rydia just smiled. ”I bet you must practice a lot.” ”Yeap, I practice a lot. Right Sasha?” The chocobo beside her chimed in and seemed to be happy. ”See, Sasha says I practice a lot too. I am much better than Ruby… he is all stuck up… I hate him.” ”That is not right Rain, you shouldn’t hate your brother. You are very lucky to have a brother, you should be nice to him.” ”He is mean to me. He called me a spaz. Mama? Can I tell you something?” After seeing Rydia nod she leaned in and whispered to her. After speaking she saw Rydia nod again then she went running out with Sasha.Hanging her head for a moment, she reached up and rubbed her forehead. Slowly standing up, watching Sasha and Rain leave, she knew roughly when since finding out when Rubicante was born. Now she knew she could not let anything interfere with around the time. And the false promise she made to Rain… she did not want to break the promise, but she liked Rubicante. Chewing on her lip as she walked back into the room, she was feeling bothered by everything but doing her best not to show it. ”Rubicante… maybe it is best to give her some space. I know you are probably trying to look out for her, but I was at that age once.”You're a man, aren't you?
