im pretty sure posting their video is against T.O.S somehow. very adult content.

As a South African, I can say I still don't understand it completely myself.
It is nice to see our culture out there in the news and on the internet though! :]
I love what they stand for. Also, screw Lady Gaga. Yolandi really has a different style haha.

haha omg i made this thread a while ago. yeah she does. i like how there is a cult following for her butt. they are very far out there it seems. i got all my friends obsessed with their song "rich b***h." though "evil boy" scared the bejezus out of them. XD i think i got most of the pronunciation down for the Afrikaans part in "evil boy" too. people just look at me like im making up words...

Lol! I saw Die Antwoord and I just had to post. Screw if it's old!
Everyone can relate to wanting to have more money, but when it comes to their p***s being cut off.. Nooot so much. Did you show them the group talking about the meaning behind the song? They might appreciate it a bit more.
Are you trying to actually learn Afrikaans? It's an awesome language. You can speak to Dutch and German people!

Hey pronouncing it is pretty impressive in the first place. Congrats on that!
I gotta start teaching my fiance now. He's a Japanophile so I think learning such a... throaty (if you get what I mean) language will be tough for him.

haha yeah i do biggrin

it was fairly easy, a little tough cause they go fairly fast. but once you break down the syllables and what they actually sound like it was easier >.< my mouth wasnt used to making the sounds lol
