According to Night Elf folk lore Annexel of Darkmouth was the second child born into the Night Elf royal family. She was born into the vast splendor and wealth of Darkmouth, once the largest and most powerful city within the Night Elf forest. As her brother learned to be the new king, she found her way into sorcery and alchemy. For years she practiced all types of sorcery and enlisted the aid of a teacher to help her learn the art of sorcery and alchemy in battle. After she surpassed her teacher she became a soldier and person guard of her father King Aero and mother Queen Twilight. Through this she fell in love with another soldier named Edmond. One day a massive hoard of Orks rode into their city without warning and a massive battle followed. The elves, being smarter and more accustomed to battle, easily won but there were many casualties. Later it was found that there was an informant involved and to everyone's surprise Edmond was found as the guilty party. Annexel fought with all her might to convince her father that it was all a big mistake, but nothing could change his mind and the mighty king had Edmond beheaded the next morning in the town square. Shocked and distraught Annexel used her knowledge of sorcery and alchemy to find a forbidden book in the royal family's library room. Here is where she is said to have found the secret to creating a legendary sacrificial spell that could bring her love back to like and so a few nights later the town was set ablaze a few people escaped her blood thirsty grasp that night the rest perished in the hellish flames that revived her love from the depths of the dark underworld. It said that he stepped toward her with his sword drawn and with a gleeful smirk ran her through. He then vanished into thin air thanking her as his figure faded into the mist. After this incident her body was not found, though her blood was found where he stabbed her. Reports have said that she now dresses as a gypsy elf using her magic to swindle people out their money and information on Edmond's whereabouts. She is driven to find him and strike him down for betraying her twice.
