Dinah was not in very good shape-- but she had gotten away. In retrospect, she knew she'd been such an idiot, and feeling- knowing it was her fault.. it scared her. She no longer wanted to stay by herself, something she'd been doing for a long time. She didn't know where exactly she was going but she recognized the signs of a pride and wandered inward hopefully. Her jewelery was gone and her fur a mess- and that was the best of it- but she looked so pathetic she was sure nobody would think she was a threat.. if they were not a threat. The thought of talking to anybody, especially while she was such a mess and after what happened, scared her. The thought of being alone, though, terrified her.

"La, lala.. ♪ ♫" Muujiza softly sang to herself as she walked. It was nice to wander a bit from her Clan from time to time. Good to not feel so stuck with them...stuck wasn't the right word, but it was nice to feel the freedom of the sky above her without tripping over a younger lion and landing on her face. Sigh.
"Oh?" He song stopped suddenly as she glanced to see a lioness that was looking less that good. Not being able to stop her helpful heart, she trotted towards the warm sandy coated lioness, concern plastered on her face.
"Are you ok? Do you need help?"

Anxious as she was, Dinah was quick to notice when Muujiza was nearby. It brought her to a stop and she watched quietly, but she seemed so easygoing and cheerful it was hard to be suspicious of her. It would have been so much easier just days before but right now, Dinah wasn't sure what to think of anything.
"Where am I?" she asked first in a quiet voice she wouldn't have recognized if she didn't know she was the one speaking. Her ears turned back and she frowned, not looking much better for it. Vaguely aware of this, she made an effort to force her ears forward and put on a neutral expression but it ended up more of a shaky frown and a confused look.

"Oh..." Muujiza breathed. She had never seen someone who was so terrified. She had led a fairly sheltered life, even after she had left her own family in search of where she fit in the world. This...this isn't how its supposed to happen.
"You're within the Ela'wadiyi lands," she answered quietly. "You're safe here, don't worry." She guessed that perhaps this lioness felt like she was being followed, and by someone that was less than kind to her. She didn't really know what else to say, so she grasped at the thin air. "I can guide you to a nearby stream if you need some water?"

She could tell what kind of impression she was making and it was killing her, but she couldn't help it. She seemed to relax when Muujiza said where she was and that she was safe- it didn't always work, just saying not to worry.. but Dinah found it comforting. Prides were safe, they kept unfriendly rogues at a distance. She could feel safer here.
Dinah took a minute to try to collect herself, knowing her pitiful state earned her some patience on the part of the kind lioness that found her. After a couple quiet breaths, she nodded.
"Please."

Muujiza waited patiently. While she had no experience with this sort of thing, she figured that it didn't hurt to try and be empathetic and understanding. She hadn't been in the middle of anything anyway.
When the lioness replied, Muujiza offered her a bright smile. "Of course." She let her tail swish behind her as she walked at a slow pace, enough so that the lioness wouldn't have to struggle to keep up, but fast enough that it wouldn't take them forever to make it to the stream. It was a small offshoot from the large river that split the Ela'wadiyi lands in two. That meant it wasn't the best, but it would do for the moment.
"If you need to lie down, feel free to." There was never any risk, and if anyone came along Muujiza would come up with some excuse on the fly. It was obvious that this lioness needed help, and the Ela weren't ones to turn away those in need.

Dinah nodded, managing a shaky smile this time and following after Muujiza- though not without a quick glance back the way she had come. It was unlikely she was followed, the reasonable part of her knew that, but she couldn't help it.
"I don't- I mean, I'll be OK," she said, clearing her throat, "Can- Can I stay here? I don't want- to-"
She had to stop speaking a moment to swallow, feeling a sudden rush of anxiety and not able to understand why but she couldn't form a complete sentence without her voice catching in her throat.
"I don't want to be by myself."

Muujiza had dipped her head to drink. Not wanting to be rude, but wanting to bring a sense of normalcy to this poor lioness. Everything was calm, and she would realize that soon enough. She lifted her head, licking what small bit of water was left on the fur around her mouth.
"I'll stay with you," Muujiza said. Sure, she may have to miss a rotation or two of her turn to hunt, but she didn't think anyone would mind too terribly much. Some of the adolescents needed to start going out on their practice hunts more. She folded her legs under her and plopped down on the ground, hoping that it would help this lioness too.
"I'm Muujiza. It's nice to meet you," she said with a smile.

Dinah was thirsty but she didn't want to drink, she didn't really want to do anything now. She nodded again when Muujiza said she would stay with her and shortly followed her example, taking a seat, looking down at one of her dusty paws. She needed to bathe badly.
"I'm Dinah," she said, adding after a small pause, "Thank you."

"Take as much time as you need, Dinah. Once you're ready I can take you to my Clan's leaders, they'll find a good spot for you. Or you can just stick with me!" She wasn't really expecting a response, since Dinah probably just wanted to give herself time to recover.
Muujiza let herself hum for a moment, letting to song pick back up from her throat. She hummed, letting the notes drift softly into the air around her. "Hm hm hmm~ ♪♫"
