It was early and Sara was settling into the new household. She had just taken a bath so she tied her wet hair up in a bun and put on on of her more casual robes. Huang had kept to his word and hardly left her side, this was one of the rare moments she had to herself. She opened the door to the outside, bare feet touching the wooden decking. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breathe, the fresh morning hair stroking her lungs. She looked around and smiled, the garden was something spectacular in itself as was the whole of the house. More than she could ever imagine when she was living on the farm back home.
Her light green eyes then caught sight of something by the bushes. Looks like her rabbit friend had returned. She smiled, and wondered out into the garden. "Hello there friend, come to make sure I settled in okay?" She chuckled, the creature looked up at her, little whiskers twitching. Now Huang had told her to stay in the house and not go outside with out him, however that seemed to skip her mind for the time being. The house was still in sight, what was wrong with walking twenty steps to see a bunny?
The rabbit darted off, and she leaped forward to chase it and then her feet glued themselves to the ground. She stared out at the rest of the garden. It had only really hit her that she had done this before. Last time she went somewhere she was told not to she almost died, and the mental scars remained. She watched the bunny disappear and sighed turning around to head back, however just before her foot touched the decking she heard... something. She spun around and stared on, eyes scanning for the source of the noise, her heart skipped a beat. That noise was not something a rabbit could achieve. "W-who is there?" She asked, her mind flashing back to what Huang said, that might send someone here to attack her. She was being protected for a reason.
"H-Huang.... Xiao? I-is that you?" She called, wrapping her fingers around a supporting beam. She would have gone back in the house but she wanted to make sure no one was there to follow her, turning her back to a potential attacker did not seem like a good idea. Huang had managed to make a already paranoid girl even more so, she was acting like a deer in the headlights over the smallest sounds. However she was not going crazy, someone was hiding in the bushes and she knew it! She told herself to calm down... it might just be one of the gardeners or servants...

Pale khaki servant's robes replaced the cobalt Lunarian's usual dusty blue noble ones. His hair wrapped around and held in place by two long, plain hair sticks. With his bangs held back by long pins, the young man passed for for a fairly attractive young lady. It was his first time doing this, that is sneaking into the Lee household. And of course, looking feminine on purpose. He'd been here once before, but it hadn't been under the best of circumstances. Looking at the charm in his hand, he rubbed his thumb across the smooth surface of the jade. He wasn't sure why, but it had stuck out to him at a passing vendor's stall. After discovering the charm was an infinity knot, one thought to bring protecting, it only seemed right to get it for the Leggionaire. He smiled ever so faintly as he tucked it into his sash before looking around. Moving through the gardens, he swore under his breath as his sandled feet broke a twig.
"W-who is there?" A voice called out.
Eyes widening his shock, Kyung deftly moved to hide in the nearest bush. Even though he was dressed like a servant, if he were to be seen by another servant there was no mistake his identity would be discovered. If it was a family member of Huang's, well, the idea was even less comforting. He stilled his breath and waited for the person to pass. When he was about to leave, he retreated back into the shrub as he heard them call out again.
So, obviously the person wasn't Huang or Xiao. It didn't seem to be their mother either. From how Huang had described the woman, she seemed to be a woman of power and confidence. Surely, she wouldn't talk in such a timid tone. And it couldn't be Huang's sister either...
Taking a few minutes to wait for the stranger to pass, Kyung slowly came out of the bushes and moved towards the large building he remembered as Xiao's. However, his eyes widened in fear as he spotted the young lady looking directly at him.

Sara watched, her heart slowing. It might have been nothing...
However as soon as she took a sigh of relief someone came out, she let out a small meep from shock. However it soon turned into a nervous chuckle as she held a hand over her heart. From first glance it appeared to be a servant. Still being new to the house, she did not know the faces of all the servants so there was nothing out of the ordinary from her point of view. "I- I am so sorry, you surprised me." She explained with a small bow directed towards the young... women? She could not really tell, either way the servant was a beautiful creature yet to save a awkwardness maybe not referring to the gender of the person in front of her was the best way forward.
"I- do not think we have met yet. My name is Sara." She continued, even though servants were there to help and to serve she never really understood the difference in social class, being suddenly lunged to the top of the food chain did not help the fact. To keep out of trouble she just treated everyone with the up-most respect be it slave or royalty. She looked on some more... something seemed familiar about this one. Something tweeting in the back of her mind that she could not put her finger on. Maybe she had seen them around the house. Of cause she knew that all the servants would know who he was, she was a guest of the household after all.
Her voice was very sheepish and her stutter was leaking into her speech. She was a very nervous character, that was easy to tell and the fact she was rambling just added fuel to the fire. She told herself she needed to take a breathe...
.... why did she not listen to herself more?

Silvery eyes watched the stranger warily. Sara? That was not a name Huang had mentioned before. Nevertheless, judging from her demeanor, he was in any danger yet. Curtsying lightly, Kyung gave her a gentle smile. "A pleasure to meet you Lady Sara." The fact that the girl in front of him wasn't dressed in a commoner's garb like him made it evident that Sara was of some social standing. Granted, given his b*****d status, even the lowest ranking noble was at a better social standing than him.
"I believe we are meeting for the first time. I only come to the Lee household when matters call for a visit. You see, my visit is normally not one that is welcomed." Correction, his visit was never welcomed unless the person being questioned was Huang. Even Xiao, Huang's supporting brother disapproved of the Legionnaire's affection for Kyung. Cocking his head lightly, he turned to look at the large building before settling back on Sara. A name, he needed a name! "My name is Mura, but hopefully you will not have to remember it."
Taking a slight step back, Kyung took a look around. He needed to move. The longer he spent out in the open talking with this person, the greater the chance of someone under service to the Lee family of finding him became. "Would Master Huang happen to be inside?" He asked, pressing his hands inside his sleeve by habit. He found himself rubbing the charm he had bought for Huang in hopes that some of its protection powers would work on him as well.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Mura." She nodded with a small smile, she felt a little better. He seemed nice enough - however she always saw the light in people. Even though she knew darkness existed she did not really like admitting it.
She look confused at his earlier statement."Oh... w-why is your visit not always that welcomed? I guess they only call you when something goes wrong... " Like a undertaker, they only turn up when someone had died, so they were not a welcomed servant. It was the only logical conclusion she could come to at the moment, no way could she has imagine why he was not really welcomed here. She was yet to see a side of Huang which was not very business like. She would have never guessed he kept someone so close to his heart. She snapped on, suddenly her guardian's name was mentioned.
"Huang, yes he will be here in a moment, he was just letting me take a bath but... he wont be long. Do you want to wait inside with me? I did not realise it was so cold." She asked, Huang would not be long. He was just giving her time to get dressed properly and settled, girls needed some time to themselves. The leash he had kept her on was short, he was very professional about his work and even though it was a little suffocating she knew it was in her best interest. Yet in the 20 minuets she was allowed to herself she had invited a noble into her room.... great.
She was looking intently at him, his face was still bothering her for some reason. "I am sorry... I just swear I have seen you before. You have such a beautiful complexion." She let out a nervous chuckle, letting down her hair and stroking the drying strands with her fingers, she would need to comb this through, well she did not mind doing her hair with someone present, especially because she still thought the servant a girl....

"A pleasure to meet you as well Lady Sara." He responded, his silvery orbs tinkling with amusement. It was terrible of him to think this, but he was rather enjoying going around pretending to be someone else. Admittedly, it was VERY dangerous. But, the fun was worth it.
Kyung couldn't help but chuckle at Sara's comment. "No particular reason. My presence isn't one that puts Master Huang to ease when I'm at the Lee estate." It was amusing how honest he was being with this girl while keeping the truth hidden. "No one calls on me per say, I come when I believe it is necessary." He answered. He was becoming surprisingly curious about this girl. Who was she? Why was she staying in the Lee household? He would have to remember to ask the assassin later when the two were alone.
Well that was troublesome. If Huang was not here, then it was best to leave than stay. There was no reason to risk discovery. "It is indeed cold for a summer night. However, it is probably better if I take my leave. It is better for me to come another day when I can speak to him privately."
Kyung's eyes narrowed slightly at her commet regarding the familiarity of his face. Well, he was prone to wander around the imperial city. Perhaps she had spotted him on one of his walks. "No, I'm sure you have me mistaken with someone else." Her next comment caught him off guard, and his eyes darkened ever so gently. "Thank you. I am told my mother was a beautiful woman when she was alive." The moment those words were out his mouth, he regretted. He had just given another topic for her to question him on.

"Oh?... It is none of my business no worries, I will tell him you came by Mura. I am sure he would not mind me staying with his older brother whilst he goes to take care of business with you." She did not understand, she did not know why he was letting so little information pass his lips but he must have good reason to do so, she had let her guard down with the mention of Huang's name - any friend of his must be worth trusting right? Even though if Mura was a assassin sent to kill her, he would know his name... he did not seem like the type. However something inside her told her that this was wrong, come on mind... where had you seem him before?
Yet the green haired girl was given reason to snap out of her questioning and her heart sunk slightly for the person she had just met. "Everyone finds their mother beautiful, however if she looked like you I can believe it." Sara would not be able to cope with loosing her mother, the two were closer than sisters and suddenly she felt homesick again. She had not seen her in so long, the distance was a heavy burden on her. She had to grow up... the last few months had made her experience emotions to extreme and when she wanted to cry... when she wanted to give up, her mother was not there for her to rest on. It had changed her, a little bit. "I am sorry, it must be hard. However.... I know more than most the spirits of the dead never really leave you... I will prey for her." She meant it. Even if it meant little to him... she would anyway.
Then something hit her.... Hua's voice rang in her ears. She had seen him before. The b*****d son... it could not be. ".... M-mura?" She asked, she needed to see his face again to make sure. Her heart started to race once more. What would a Noble want with a Legionaire fighter... she would not let it on that she was suspicious or she would try not to. Was he after Huang? Did he intend to harm him.... or her. She was confused, why would he lie? There must be a reason. Something he did not want her to know. This mask scared her more than he would have done admitting the truth.

Kyung paused. "Even in death, my mother is not one to stay beside me." His voice surprisingly cold. "I do not need her to be beside me." The words were said more to himself than Sara.
Upon hearing his 'name,' Kyung looked up. "Yes, Lady Sara?" He asked, his eyes locking with her own. That look on her face, it made him draw back ever so gently. She was suspecting him. The way she had stuttered while calling his name. "I should really go Lady Sara." Reaching into his sash, he pulled out the small infinity loop bracelet and held it out for Sara.
"It seems, I will not be able to give this to him today. Please make arrangements for him to receive it. Tell him, it comes from the advisor K." Chuckling ever to lightly at the pseudonym, he wondered what the Legionnaire's reaction would be. How would the assassin take knowing he had come just to give that little thing? He turned his back to Sara and began to walk towards the garden as calmly as possible. The moment he was out of the girl's sight, he'd scale the wall and return to his own household. It had been a dangerous, impulsive thing to do. He had just endangered himself and possibly Huang as well.
His heart beating loudly in his chest, he began to walk faster. The more distance the better.

".... Kyung."
She uttered, it was him. She knew it. She never prejudged anyone but he lied and this was a cause of concern.
"I would never bring anything to Huang which may cause him harm. I do not know what magic you might have enchanted this with... or what poison it may contain. But you lied... and I can not. I am sorry." Even if there was a slight risk she would not be held responsible. She shook her head and looked down at the item in her hand. Before her eyes snapped back up at him, she was scared but she told herself to be brave, running and breaking down would just make a very delicate situation worse. She did not know what to do, the stories she had heard of him, of the Nobles. Sakn had tricked her into thinking he was harmless... who was to say Kyung was not doing the same?
"W-what are you doing here? Tell me the truth or I will scream... and bring who ever hears to us both." She stated, he knew that one of the family would get to him before he got out, or to her before he could cause any serious damage. At least she hoped... Huang were are you? Hurry please. "Please Kyung... tell me the truth.

Kyung froze in his tracks when he heard the girl mutter his name. He could feel his blood running cold in fear. His cover was blown. Turning on his heel to cross his arms across his chest, he stared at Sara. Perhaps, he could talk her to a more comfortable zone.
Taking a deep breath, he slowly spoke. "If it was meant to cause harm, you would have suffered from its effects the moment I handed it to you. I saw it on my way through the marketplace." His eyes fell on Sara. "Do you know what it is? It's an infinity knot; one of buddism's eight sacred symbols. It symbolizes protection and good karma." Not to mention, his specialty was in talking to the dead not dabbling in magic.
His eyes slowly broke to look at the floor before moving back up. His eyes pleading for the girl not to scream. "Screaming would not be good Miss Sara." He took a more formal tone. "I am not obligated to tell you anything. But, given the situation, I believe that is necessary for my safety and Huang's." He chewed on his lip lightly before continuing. "Since you have been living in the Lee estate, I'm sure you are aware of Huang's profession. You must agree with me when I say that it is not the safest in the world. Secondly, I must remind you that Huang comes from a family with strong roots to the emperor. And while it is true that I am a noble retainer, it also remains to be said that Huang is a close friend of mine."
"Quite frankly, if you were to scream... I'm sure Huang would be more angry at you than I." A light chuckled followed. "It is best that you let me leave in peace Miss Sara. We wouldn't want to cause anyone problems."

"I do not understand this...." She shook her head, her hair covering her eyes. "He told me that a Noble may invade the house in order to kill me, and if one did he would die trying to save me..." How could he prove his intentions? He had lied to her - trusting him would make her twice as foolish. She was believing a liar and the one thing she was told to fear coming in contact with. Yet... she could understand the situation. Maybe he did just want to see his friend...
"I think it is so sad really. The state this city is in, Nobles... Legionaries. The complications that come with the titles, where are the good old days? When a person saw who another was and not a label. I never asked to be a part of this, I was dragged into it and from day one I have been told the Nobles will kill me if I am not protected and with that I put everyone I am around in danger. So many mixed messages - I have been told by Huang I should fear your kind that he needs to protect me from your kind but you mean us no harm? How can you choose to hate a certain group of people to go into battle with the intent to kill and then pull one close to your heart. Maybe I am never meant to understand. Maybe no one really does." She shook her head, in her confusion she truly was upset over this. She had Noble friends and in their eyes she could not see the evil she was told was there. Yet when the sun went down they all became worriers. How could anyone make such connections until the war was at a end. How could it result in anything but hurt?
She stared and sighed as she spoke of him. "I know nothing of his profession or his family ties. All I know is for now, Huang is my guardian. Any other business is his own and he made it clear that is all I am to know, I am a job and nothing more. Look at it from my point of view... I have been told you are my enemy, yet you are telling me different. I want to believe you but... I need to trust Huang over you for now. I would prefer him to mad with me than take this risk." Kyung could be trying to trick her, her heart had taken down her guard once before and that had almost killed her, was she going to let her feelings once again get her into danger? Her eyes then fell to the object in her hand, studying it closer... she knew it, but for a different reason.
"Love... I have stepped on ground I am not wanted, please. Do not make this burden mine. Take this back and come inside, hide in my room whilst I find him, if you are telling me the truth you have nothing to fear. You are asking me to trust you... grant me the same gift. I will go to no one else." A blush ran across her face, were him and... is that why he was sneaking to see him? She never realised Huang... she could never imagine him. Oh spirits, she was stuck in the middle of star crossed lovers. She would have to talk to Huang about this, she still did not trust him fully but surly a assassin could not have this so perfectly planned out. No assassin... could look into her eyes and show the emotion that his did. "What do you say... I am trying to be reasonable. Please... do not make me regret it."

"Please understand that I lack the physical ability and skill to even kill you. If you have ever seen a warrior's hands, you would know they are rough and calloused. Only my fingertips are calloused, but that is because I play the geogumgo." As proof, he held out his hands. And true to his word, they were soft except for the calloused fingertips on his left hand which was used for pressing the strings down on the instrument.
Kyung paused and couldn't help but give a sad chuckle at her words. "It isn't something you need to understand. It is true I am a noble, but I have yet to kill anyone. Quite frankly, there is a greater chance that I will die before I kill someone. Unlike you or Huang, who have a firm seat with the Legionnaires, I am only a noble because of my father's rank. Even then, I am not welcomed. In that sense, I do not have a true alliance." Kyung stared at Sara. Why was he telling her all this unnecessary information? It was unlike him to speak so much about himself. Was it because he was trying to protect himself? Or because he wanted this person to trust him so he could visit by the Lee household and see Huang to know that the assassin was okay? Whatever the reason, it was making him uncomfortable with himself.
Kyung shook his head at her words. The person did not understand. He couldn't afford to stay here and risk himself discovery. While it would be nice to see Huang, he could not impose on Xiao or Sara. He would be inside on Sara's expense, and inside Xiao's house. A danger to both. Slowly taking the charm back, he took a step back. "I cannot stay and impose on you. Please let him know that Kyung was here."
With that, the noble broke out into a run. Quickly moving through the garden's bushes, he reached the side of the wall he had scaled down from. He'd managed to climb down it, surely he could scale back up.

"I have..." She uttered, raising her hand to touch her neck, the hands of a warrior where rough as she found out whilst the possessed red head was trying to crush her wind pipe. Her eyes scanned his hands for a second and then she looked down at her own, laughing slightly and holding them up. "Mine are... though that is from farm work..." She stated and then lowered her eyes slightly at his next comment. She had killed someone.. or at least she thought she had and even though she had moved on, she did not like thinking about it, she had yet to forgive herself. She doubted she ever would.
"I am only a Legionnaire because... it does not matter. But, I think me and you have a lot more in common than you think." She also did not choose a side, she thought both had their reasons but she did not believe one stronger than the other. Yet the Legion had given her a home, they had taught her to control her abilities, so she felt like they owned her, or at least she owed them for all they had done for her. She thought for a moment... maybe... no harm would come from him getting away. Maybe for now that was for the best. "Okay... I will. It has been... a pleasure meeting you Kyung. I hope we can meet again under... more fortunate circumstances."
She bowed again, seeing the man run through the garden, just like the rabbit.

He gave Sara a small smile. He didn't care for alliances. Wasn't his unique relationship with Huang proof of that? "A pleasure meeting you as well Miss Sara, and I also hope we will meet on more friendlier terms next time." He gave her a nod before slowly climbing the stone wall with difficultly. Straddling the top of the fence, he took one last look at the building housing Kyung's room before slowly climbing down on the other side.
It was time to head home now.
Even though he had not seen Huang today, the day had not been wasted. Pulling the hairsticks out to let his hair fall down, he slowly made his way back home. What would the servants say if they saw him dressed like this?
