in my sophomore year of high school, i was reading cosmo and it had a whole page with advice on how to pee quietly. i didn't even know it was a concern so i was like e___o wtf
for a while after i used to be concerned about it because i realized that girls commonly try to pee quietly. but now i just pee without giving a ********. sometimes when i go to the bathroom at school, i can hear girls pee, then stop a moment, then pee again, but a *liiittle* bit quieter. it makes me giggle kinda x) personally i find it kind of a silly thing to worry about.
anyway....
is this a big deal to you? TELL ME ABOUT HOW YOU PEE.

In Japan they have buttons on some public toilets to make a "flushing noise", so other people can't hear you xD

Like I never actually thought about it, but then once I was in a stall with this one girl next to me, and when I got out, she was like WOW YOU REALLY HAD TO PEE LOL! and ever since then I've been self-conscious about it. I don't like peeing when there's someone I know in the bathroom.
But other than that I'm going to pee and I don't care how loud it is.

I used to have friends who would tell me to turn on the hand dryer while they peed and keep it going til they came out.
I was like wtf.
I don't give two shits, I've farted while peeing too.
ISN'T IT NORMAL, THAT'S HOW THE BODY FUNCTIONS.
I just come out and smile at whoever is there, what are they gonna do, judge me for pissing?

Yeah in high school girls would always turn on the water so you couldn't hear them pee which was so annoying and such a waste of water. I just pee quietly anyways most of the time, the way I sit the stream of pee hits the bowl versus the water so it's quieter? xD w/e w/e man

Slightly off topic but I am always a bit uncomfortable with acquaintances seeing me emerge from the toilet stall. Friends, it's fine. Strangers, totally okay. But mild acquaintances? They're the worst.

AN Oh god I don't even care if I have nasty Diarrhea. I have made the most disgusting noises in the bathroom. If you don't like it, don't go in a public bathroom because everyone pees, farts, and shits.

She always wants us to go to the bathroom with her, but then if nobody else has to go, she asks us to do the same thing with the hand dryer. I really don't mind because she's a sweetie anyway so she's not being annoying about it, and if it makes her feel better, why not? To be honest, I agree with you guys that you can't really help how loud you pee or anything like that, and yeah it might be a little awkward sitting there peeing thinking other people can hear it, but what can you do? Oh, well... you can always read a Cosmo about how to pee quieter. whee Tanyarbles I've farted while peeing too Also idk why but this CRACKED me up! rofl

Omg I love when it's plain empty 'cause then it's like my own private bathroom! 8D
I understand not wanting to take a dump. I can never take a nice/calm doodoo in a public bathroom for fear of 1) shlrp noise when my brown buddy falls into the toilet, 2) the person going in there after me will die in the mercy of my shitscent, and 3) IF THE TOILET CLOGS, FFFFFFF.

The worst possibly situation would be to have diarrhea, go into public bathroom that is very busy and has a line up...
1.) You have to rush
2.) When you leave your stall, someone goes in directly after you and has to endure the smell OR IMAGINE IF THE TOILET DIDNT FLUSH THEN ITS LIKE THEY RECOIL IN FEAR AND EVERYONE BLAMES YOUUUUU
