We have chosen a clan motto, something short that is easily recalled and can be used as a battle cry.
CLAN MOTTO - In darkness or in light, we will help you fight!
We eliminate dthe lowest choices week by week, so the list will kept getting shorter until we had a winner, the way it's done on American Idol.
The person who entered the winning motto will be rewarded.
And that person is....elffromspace!
Week 1 - Two choices received 0 votes, so both were removed.
Week 2 - One choice received 0 votes.
Week 3/4 - One choice received 1 vote.
Week 5 - One choice received 2 votes.

Hellfe i thought we had one? the one on the big pic on the home page This: A clan for those who have none.. A Guardian for those who need one.. A place to rest when the battle is about.. Where protection will be provided, so your life does not get ripped out. I love it - that and the visuals are what drew me to the clan. Only a motto is usually 3-4 words long, like 'a clan for those who have none' would be a long motto - and that alone doesn't express what the whole paragraph does. So, A clan for those who have none. A clan for the battle-weary. or - ? Or just leave it as it is? (I LIKE what we have, only I can't memorize it. That is why a motto is usually so short, so you can easily recite it.)

That's more or less the clan creed, We are looking for a nice short one line message, like Friends indeed for those in need.... or something relatively simple like that.

I really like 'We will never leave you behind' , it has a nice ring to it, and it sends the message that we will be there to help. heart

Look what I found! Guardians of Myhrr has a Coat of Arms! This resulted from a contest linked into the first clan announcement, in 2009. (Suggestions for original contest: Using zOMG symbols such as animated, or rings. Purple is the official clan color. Possibly try to capture the idea of helping others, and protecting our friends. The Guardian of Myhrr is a mythical protector, somewhat magical or spiritual.) I like "We will never leave you behind" too.
This suggestion was in that same contest thread, so the idea was tossed around before:
plasmafire - Sat Feb 21, 2009 7:52 am - We might be in need of a short clan slogan or motto to go with the coat of arms.
elffromspace - Wed Feb 25, 2009 10:38 am - "A Guardian for those who need one" would work. From the longer clan slogan.
I am thinking we might see if a couple more suggestions come in, then make up a poll for people to vote on them.

Something to share again - this is a poem by Gothichearts, entered in the 2009 contest:
When you first start out in this game
you find yourself on a speeding train
A man named Frank gives you a ring
and tells you to go out and kill everything.
The sewers are a dark and nasty place
where plungers immediately get in your face
then you fight a lot of green bunnies
Im not joking, theyre called Grunnies.
Next you emerge into Barton Town
There are guards and people all around
You speak to Elizabeth who sends you on quests
She knows youre new, so just do your best.
The next level you come to is Village Greens
with Gnomes and Flamingos who are really mean.
You speak with Leon whose quests are harder

I found another suggestion in the archives: In darkness or light, we will help you fight.
That gives us enough choices for a poll, I think. I need someone to show me how to enter more than one choice for a poll - so far I can only do a one-liner.
