Born 'for scientific purposes', 1622 was raised by a woodsman family until she was 14, then taken away to be experimented upon. Released from her lab setting when it was shut down for illegal experiments (and it was decided that she was of sound mind), she lives quietly in the wilderness, watching for travelers in need of a helping hand. Her larynx was badly damaged in the researchers' experiments, leaving her nearly unable to speak.
Though leery of people in general, 1622 watches for travelers in distress and will help them if she can. The people who raised her edowed her with plenty of helpful woodland knowledge.
1622 is not officially a trainer, having never been registered by any professor, and she cannot afford pokeballs. Rather, she currently maintains a more or less symbiotic relationship with a wild Sawsbuck she "calls" Gaillard.
