I discovered Vocaloid when i went to a friends house. I never really liked Japanese music and she would ALWAYS play it. anyway, she discovered the mv Love is War and i just happed to read the lyrics and watch the awesome video. I was interested, but not exactly hooked yet. Then i noticed she had a whole playlist full of different Miku MV's. Then i just had to ask, who is this person? who's the voice actor? After she explained what Vocaloid is and where it came from, i was hooked ever since! I think I'm even a bigger Vocaloid fan than she is. ^^

When me and my friend were about seven, we discovered "the one who likes leaks" as she would say xD We were going shopping at this one store where she saw a Miku doll with a leak in her hand. She bought it and soon discovered she was a singer too! After that we immediatly fell in love with Vocaloid. We used to think they were real people untill we heard the song "The Dissapearance of Hatsune Miku" :'3

Before, I used to see on google images a bunch of Miku Hatsune's picture, but I didn't know who she was. Later, on internet there was some people talking about her [that's when I figured her name]; I wondered if she was part of a manga or anime. The first song I listened to was World is Mine! c:
Then my sister told me she knew Miku already. -___- [she never told me ; n;]

I stumbled upon Alice Human Sacrifice when looking for AMVs. I showed a couple of friends and they liked that one song but I was hooked and listened to everything by Rin and Meiko after that.

My friend showed it to me. (: She knew I was beginning to like anime and knew I liked anime girls with pink hair so she showed me Luka (which is my favorite vocaloid), so ever since then I started listening to Vocaloid and watching the PV's and stuff and I am completely addicted. xD Everyone at school of course thinks i'm kind of weird cause I listen to Japanese music but I could careless~ (:

I saw an ad for a concert at J-POP festival in SF. Miku was in the ad. I was all like: "woah, she has green hair. That's awesome." I then continued research and found other vocaloids. I then discovered UTAU.

Well, when I was at Youtube looking for good songs to listen to that's not mainstream. I remembered a song I heard at a featured avi's profile. I typed in "Alice Human Sacrifice", first song I listened, and I was blown away. Though, I was mostly confused thinking it was anime but later on I know better with a help from my friend who knew it before me ( and didn't tell me =_= ). Well at least I'm second. 9 w 9
