Primitus moved after nightfall, dragging himself as far away as possible. He failed her. Failed as a mate, failed as a leader. Feelings that made him feel weaker, knowing Bokoboko was witherinf in Nel's claws.

He tried to save her and he failed. He did nothing. What would Anupu think of him, or Nyasambe? Or worse, his own Father?

Agonizing poain seared his worst-hit leg and he crumpled again, breathing weakly, eyes glowing dimly.

He wouldn't die. But he would if his matrix returned, and he couldn't return to Accendo if he wanted, eiother. So he had to heal, and as such, heal as a mortal healed.

By taking a damably long time. And who knew what Nel would do to her by them.....

For all he knew, his love was dead again. That in mind, he closed his eyes... Crying.

Kipofu didn't often venture into the rogue lands without an 'escort' of some sort. Well...aside from Nasiha, anyways. But Kyouko had sought her out and told her she was needed in the pride of her birth. And when Kyouko Saw something and wasn't confusing it, one LISTENED. So she'd gotten up, grabbed Nasiha, and started towards the pride of her birth, the Mwako'bi'Giza. Somehow, she knew it had to do with her brother. She'd never felt comfortable leaving him alone, but a pride of demon hunters was no place for...for a BLIND lioness.

Nasiha stayed near his 'charge', making sure they stayed on course. At least until both lioness and ratel scented blood. Half-familiar blood. "Nasiha...?"

"I smell it too. Can't be anything good." He shifted course as she did, trotting ahead just far enough to warn her of danger if needed. She was blind, but he'd taught her how to run and hide on her own if it came down to it. He'd promised Mister Set and Miss Taswira he'd look after their daughter, and he'd do so until his dying breath, and beyond if he could manage it. He was surprised to see a half-familiar form the source of the scent. It was Kipofu who said something, however.

"Mister Primitus!" Now that they were closer, she recognized the scent fully. She didn't know him personally, per say...but anyone who didn't know him in the Matembezi hadn't been there long. And she'd been there since she was smaller than Nasiha! "Nasiha, wha-?"

She didn't even need to finish the sentence. "He's hurt bad, Kipofu." But who could have taken down a GOD?

He heard someone close, and one ear flicked, and indication of life in the beaten form of the God, head moving to spy Kipofu.

The Diplomat. He tried not to intervene in hois patron pride too often, but when he did, he was learning names. The male blinked, making no sound, but tried to rise, to be respectful. He got half-way before crumpling again, gasping and one paw's claws dug into the ground painfully. He didn't smell hatred, but he did know he had a responsibility t5o those in the Matembezi, and he tried again.

He smelled heavily of blood, most of his body matted and scabbed, though the deepest hadn't finished scabbing, movement evoking protest. His battered, thninned wings spread only so far before he gasped, the wings dropping to rest painfully, and he groaned.

"Are you alright?"

Kipofu smelt the blood and pain, heard him gasp and groan in pain. Nasiha watched it, cringing to see so great a god brought so low. And both moved forward to try and encourage him to not strain himself further. "I'm alright, Mister Primitus. But you're not. Even without sight, I can tell that." Nasiha started looking the battered god over, worried. And he relayed the wounds to Kipofu, since he was her eyes.

"What happened, sir? This doesn't have anything to do with the Mwako'bi'Giza, does it?" That thought put dread in Kipofu even as Nasiha spoke it. She was Matembezi now...but her roots were in the Mwako. They always would be.

"N... No... A fight... A fight with an old friend.... An old friend who... Lost his way..."

Primitus grimaced, but let himself be coaxed, and once again lay on his side, breathing heavily.

"Bokoboko is gone."

His voice broke, tears falling down his face again.

There was one relief. But it brought another to the fore. Kipofu was stunned by Primitus' words. The Diplomat moved to try and clean what wounds she could. She couldn't see, but her sense of smell was sharper than most to help compensate. Nasiha now knew how Primitus had gotten into the shape he was in. Another god. He looked to Kipofu, then to Primitus again. He didn't want to leave Kipofu alone...but Primitus needed help.

"We're nearer to the Mwako'bi'Giza. I can go get one of their Mfuma. We were headed that way, anyways, before you protest." Kipofu knew Nasiha would go as fast as a ratel could for help. And she knew her birth pride would lend it. She nodded her approval. Then came the dreaded question.

"S-she's not dead, is she? Miss Bokoboko?"

"I don't know." He winced, tearing up. "I simply don't know. She may be. She may not be. Hatred's mood is un predictable." He tried to move again, knowing his massive frame could pose problems to move, and collapsed on his other side-- bite marks clearer, a few chunks of skin missing. Hatred had a snack, but didn't eat him. He was able to flee before he was eaten, thankfully.

"I can't fdight him alone."
PostPosted: Mon Apr 04, 2011 11:21 pm

Nasiha took off like the demon his markings portrayed. A god wouldn't die on his watch. Not one who cared for the pride as Primitus did.

Kipofu tried to be as careful as she could, horrified as she came across each new wound. 'Hatred'. That had been the god who'd hurt Primitus. "Then don't fight him alone. We can get you help. This sort of thing...it's what the Matembezi was founded for, right? And we all like Miss Bokoboko! And surely there would be other gods who wouldn't stand for this sort of thing, right?"

She was naive, but hopeful. Hatred, she had heard, was a strong emotion. It made sense the god who held the domain would be strong. But a good leader could overcome hatred with their people, right? There were things stronger than hatred, she was certain.

"Perhaps..." Primitus sighed, still hurting.

"At one time, he was my friend. And to this day, I wish he could return to being so. But his heart was twisted and brokem." Primitus shut his eyes.

"They may stand a chance together, but he may take lionesses, impregnate them... It's a huge risk to them..."

Other Gods... He opened his eyes.

"Nyasambe may help.... If possible, I may plead her help, plead the Navi as well, for Allies..." He closede his eyes again.

"My father may help as well."

Kipofu thought as she tended to his wounds as best a blind Diplomat could. "Perhaps we could talk to the Mwako'bi'Giza, as well. There are enough disciplined members that there would surely be some among them who would not feed Hatred." She was naive, but she wasn't stupid. One didn't become a Diplomat by being stupid. She knew gods lived off their domains. "And...there are quite a few pride members in the Mwako who are sterile because of their mixed blood. That could be useful." What others could they ask for help...

Primitus nodded, wincing.

"Help... We'll still need help from Gods to at best keep him at bay." He closed his eyes.

"A god or messenger to warn my daughter to keep him from the Matrix."

He opened his eyes.

"She needs take it to the Na'Vi. Nyasame will know what it is. And she can help from there."

He knew mothers would grow stronger with someone to care for, but...

"Mothers needs a mother with her. Her domain is mothers, and, ah... My cubs are grown, and Bokoboko may not help yet."
PostPosted: Mon Apr 04, 2011 11:45 pm

A mother. Who did she knew that was a mother with cubs still? Not her own mother. She knew that well enough. And she would have heard if she was going to be a big sister. Tamana had recently brought cubs into the Matembezi, but he'd said their mother could not leave her pride. Maybe her Aunt Tanny? She'd had cubs recently!

"Emil's mate, my Aunt Tanwen...she had cubs not long ago." Perhaps it wasn't such a bright idea...but Kipofu was worried for the god in front of her, and his mate that was taken captive.

"Perhaps." He murbled a bit. "If they can travel." He sighed. He needed to help the others. He alone could power his father. Still...

"We need fathers, as well."
PostPosted: Mon Apr 04, 2011 11:54 pm

Kipofu perked up. "Emil's a father and a warrior. And Tamana has little ones of his own." She thought, wracking her brain for anyone she knew was a father. There...was rather a dearth of those. "I can't think of many more than that, though. Maybe my own father? Or Uncle Nima? Wait no...my father might not be such a good idea." She loved her father...but even she knew he was unstable. and held a great deal of hate inside him. She sighed. "I wish I could be of more help to you..." But even as a Diplomat...there was only so much a blind lioness could do.

He shifted enough to hug the lioness with a paw, giving her a comforting lick.

"You help greatly. I can boost father's as well, as a father myself, knowing a father, and my own father is the god of Fathers."

Hatred... Uhgm...

Dad needed work, oh yes indeedy. He sighed, after a moment, however, closing his eyes sadly.

"I'll save you.... Bokoboko...."
