She was going to do it.. today.

It needed to be done, it was a LONG time coming. Something she had been told before... something that she was on the fence about mentioning to anyone that she did not know was on her side. She had been told that senshi can tell their immediate family... that they were senshi. Moms, dads....siblings. For the longest time she thought Zac was her cousin, but only maybe in the last half year had they learned the same mans blood ran through their veins.

The same genes....simular DNA.

Siblings, she could tell him now.

Inviting Zac over was the easy part, when it finally lead up to the point of telling.... that now was going to be difficult. She was nervous, normally it was easy talking about senshi things. Being as she normally talked with other senshi about them... they knew what she too was going for.

She had invited him over tonight, invited him for pizza (probably to his great pleasure, no horrible lyra cooking to choke down), and to visit. It was something they did once in a while... to keep their bond, they were really all each other had family wise.

Sitting at the kitchen table, she pushed at the newly delivered box of cheese pizza absent mindedly with an index finger. She was preparign herself mentally...

Tonight she would tell Zac she was senshi.

When the 'hey' was said behind her a small squeak emerged from her lips, a sure sign that was WAS edgey for some reason. Really skittish... warry, afraid, emotions swirled like a sea of anxiety and worry in her mind. She had told herself.. tonight was the night. Tonight she would tell Zac.

She just hoped he would be able to forgive her for it.

"...Huh?" She said, catching the near end of his sentence. Space case, that was her currently. "What? Oh! No.... no nothing like that. Im fine, i swear." A fake smile, a usual smile... one that didnt meet those ever emotion giving-away eyes.

"Nono... im fine... but what about you? You seem so worn so tired."

"The usual? ....I wont try and make the cake this year, promise. We can order one." She laughed shortly, remembering back to a fw years back where she had attempted to make a cake... her mother had come in, saw the disaster, and fixed it somehow.

her mom was a miracle worker...... and the thought of that made her sad.

Eyes looking away for a moment, she shoved back those emotions. She can say however much she was over her moms death... in a way, she was. She had finally accepted it... she was gone. But it still was a knife in her heart when she thought about her.

"As long as it tells you how to cook peryton stew and werewolf hairball remover." She said with a grin, peering back at him once more. She loved books on fantasy...mythology... anything of the sort. Ans h knew it. "Though no pride and prejudice and zombies, have that one already." Beth said with a laugh, as she stood up. Wandering into the kitchen she returned with a plate and offered it to Zac. "You are a godsend... you know." The red head said, looking down at the ramen, tuna, and other provisions. Easy things even SHE couldn't mess up...

Just a little longer.... let them eat first. She grabbed a slice of pizza and left the box open, offering him a chance at it too.

"Orange juice please? Should be behind the thing of milk on the left." She said also taking a bite of the pizza. She was hungry... so worried about what was to come she had taken to starving herself for the past two days, and not even realized it until she smelt the pizza when the delivery man had arrived. Hungrily, she took another bite before addressing him again.

"A little late but... Zac you know you can stay here, right? With me when you go to college... if you chose a local one with no dorms." She had offered for him to stay here many times, but the man seemed so strict in not wanting to be here.

"As for me... I havent been here most of the time, unless it was to catch a few hours of sleep. I've been really busy the past few weeks." It was a bit of a nightmare, a living one full of little to no rest and round the clock guard duty. Hell, she had only just gotten home an hour or so ago from the morning shift. "But im living i guess you can say? You look almost as tired as i am, you shouldn't study so hard! Sleep is vital to a healthy mind too you know."

"... YOU tried a ROCKSTAR?" She said with wide eyes, as if that was the most important thing he said in his sentence. "...You used to be so against energy drinks!" Beth said with amusement returning to her features for a brief moment.

Only to plummet back to there usual. "Well, uhm... There comes a story with that?" She said nervously. Not able to keep under Zacs intense gaze... she walked away into the other room. Pizza still in stow, she made sure to grab the juice too before settling down on the couch. Tucking her legs in, something he would know as a signal she was hiding something, she waited for him to follow.

"Um.....well." She fidgeted. Ok... Where... where to begin. Where to end? The past two years she had been hiding from him, hiding the truth... not saying what she was or why. She was in a magical war... a war that he was indirectly involved in, because she took it as her personal duty to protect him.

Should she just spew it all out now? Should she wait? A joke or the truth... should she just make up a lie, telling him that she had a secret admirer. Not say the truth... she needed to tell him, wanted to tell him. If there was one thing she knew about Zac... it was that he liked knowing everything. Down to the smallest details he was a bit OCD of. Heck just now he grabbed a coaster, and a napkin, for the pizza and drink. While in a average place that might seem polite and courteous... she knew for a fact he did this always. It was just how he was.

"Uhm..." Was that all she could say? Deep in her chest she could feel the anxiety building, she could feel the energy radiating within and screaming to be released. She was opening hells gates, they were calling her name.

"I am a sailor senshi, Zac."

She watched closely for his reaction, eyes halfway lidded it seemed as if she was closing her eyes in near fear, near agony... but she was actually looking out of the corners, directly at him.

Thankfully for him... his eyes remained blank. Or she was not reading him right, at the moment she was scared stiff. His voice was enough to tell her that he was upset.

'coming out' was harder than she thought.

"Uhm..... A- a while. Actually." Her green eyes flew open as her face turned red. "A REALLY long...while. Im sorry i did not tell you before now. It is said we can tell our direct family members..... brothers, sisters, parents... what we are. But i just did not have the guts to mention it before now."

"...For the very reason your doing right now, i was afraid you wouldnt accept it." From his voice, how rigid he went it seemed her suspicions were true.

He would not allow an alien in the family.

Her eyes flew open. "Zac! That you would suggest i actually kill people! No.. no i do not. I dont kill i dont.. torture. I protect.... balance i guess you could say." or..she tried to at least. There we a few exceptions, a few mistakes... but she was never perfect nor claimed to be.

"Its... to be honest? Its damn hard. Things are so confusing to me." She looked pitiful, in that moment. "Its sometimes hard knowing what is right and wrong."

Pushing herself off the chair, she wandered over towards a corner of the room, opened a door and pulled out something that looked like a pen. It has a ball and a star on the top.. and was very, very colorful. "Are you sure? I mean... i dont know. Look away for a moment? We do get nude for a second before the transformation happens." It was another reason she tried not to transform in public. Identity issues, and she did not want people to see her nude.
