She hadn't eaten much since her kidnapping. She hadn't done much of anything. Her heart was too full of sorrow... her regret and shame at what she had done. She had began to start to wonder if Prim would be able to find them. They were on some cliff, somewhere... and there was not much in clues to where they were. She had almost began to give up hope. She was gonna be this God's slave... his horrible slave.
She had wandered to the edge of the ledge, gazing down into the clouds and to the ground; where sharp rocks awaited anyone who fell. She felt hopeless. And fear. She had no doubt that his seed had began to make life in her womb. She sighed, her tail curling around her forepaws.

It had taken much longer for the mortal's mate to track them down than Neltharion had planned. Another testament to how weak the god must have become. He eyed the lioness from inside the cave. Perhaps the god would be smart and abandon rescuing her. If he'd had any kind of heart he might have felt something for her. Even if it was a negative feeling. Instead though he felt nothing. Perhaps a slight fluttering of disgust, but that was typical of him for all mortals. This one was nothing special, barring that her offspring would have powers he could put to use.
The wind shifted, and perhaps he scented something on it, because in a flash he was on the ledge, shoving her back into the cave, and screaming fury at the sky. "Stay inside, my Pet." He warned her. "We wouldn't want you to go through all this only to slip and fall to your doom before your dear mate's eyes." He scoffed. He could tell she hated him for what he'd done. It surely would haunt her all of her days. "That is, if he still would call you his mate after he learns how you've betrayed him." His voice was liquid acid. He fed on her fury.

Promitus was furious. He'd merely gone to check on Bokoboko to let her know that Accendo was right, and tending the hurt in their ally's lands, and she was gone. Taken. And the scent weas of pure unearthly hatred, a scent spoken of in wehisper and rumour-0- the god of Hatred. And he wasted no time following it, tearing airborn. His matrix, his life force, he stored, making one bypass to leave it with his daughter for safe keeping, before he risked death by it's destruction, and the bare chested male topre to the air, persuing the scent once more.
The ledge was now in sight after days of searching, Primitus worried his mate was endangered, and he pressed harder, faster, further. His mate needed hjim. He couldn't lose her. Noit again. Not to a killer again.
It was hard for Primituds not to hate Neltharion for consistantly hunting him, his mate prior... But he was determined to remain even-tempered. He wasn't giving the god what he wanted. The large male soon landed on a ledge above him, and haunched, growling in his chest, glowing eyes brighter.
"Neltharion."

Nana had been sitting with her eyes shut breathing in the air and trying to ignore the fact Nel was there. She didn't even know his name. Nor did he know her's. He called her pet, perhaps that was enough for him. All she knew was that he made her feel worse than anything in the world. All to get at Primitus. With a sigh, she had started to open her eyes when Nel shoved her backwards, and she quickly retreated as to stay his paw from hurting her again.
"Primitus?" She said, pressing herself against the back wall. She tried to ignore his last words, but anger flared inside of her. "I did no such thing!" She whispered, looking edgy and excited. Was her mate coming? She scented the air, could smell him... Oh Primmy.
She stood up and stepped towards the entrance a little to see if she could spot him. She heard him before she saw him. "PRIMITUS!" She screamed, her fear for his life and her happiness exploding from her chest. He had come! He was going to save her. She could not help but spill tears again.

Neltharion watched as the gray god alighted on the top of the cave's entrance. His jagged jaws parted, steam and hissing lava dribbling from them to splash and burn around his feet. "Come at last to save your precious mortal b***h, Leadership? What a sad state you're in...What body is this for you now, hmm? Ever since you started lying with these mortals you've become weaker and weaker. You're becoming one of them, Leadership...Heh heh heh...And now...now you've come to fight ME? For HER? Pathetic. You can take your lover, if you can get past me, but know this--she has been unfaithful to you. As I tear you limb from limb, as I burn the very core of your being to ash, I want you to remember her face...and know that it is my spawn that even now churns in her belly! Know that, and hate it!"
With a snarl he lunged at the other god, all claws and black fury. Flaming spittle flew from his mouth, lighting the first clash of the titans like sparks thrown from meeting swords. The molten blood pounded through his form; his orange eyes meeting Primitus' own blue ones.

Primitus ducked calmly, spinning.
"Was it by choice, or because of you?" Primitus glared. He actually felt sorry for the male.... A sense of pity. He was looking to fill a void he hadn't let heal. He tried moving for Bokoboko, eying him.
"Fight me as you will, but you know I will not hate you, old friend."
His tone was calm, trying to coax the Neltharion he knew out, gold eyes full of concern.
"The mortals didn't do this. Mkodi chose to leave. You knew this. Leave her out of it."
He remained calm. At a glance, one could tell his matrix was gone from his neck, his life essence safely away.

She could see him. Could hear him! She grew excited and anxious and began to pace at the back of the cave, her eyes on the entrance and on them. "Primitus! I knew you would come!" She cried, her tears flowing freely down her cheeks. As the firey gods words felled, she began to sob. His words... they hurt her.. why... And then when Primitus's words came; she sprang at them. "I chose to keep you safe beloved!" She called, her words drowning in sorrow. "I had nothing else to bargain... I am sorry." She began to sob.
She pressed her head between her paws and began to shake uncontrollably. Would he hate her? Would he leave her with the male of lava, as punishment for her crimes. She could barely breath. "So sorry..."

He snarled again, fuming, and grinned in the face of his 'old friend'. "Both. The b***h offered to give me cubs if I wouldn't kill you." He snorted, swiping at the male's exposed chest. "Coward. Some leader, setting an example you are. No matrix? You fight dirty." His taunts came up short at the gray god's words. " You will NOT speak of Her! You are not worthy to say Her name!"
Enraged, he renewed his attack, driving the male away from his stranded mate who lay weeping. Frenzied, he flew at the male, spewing flames and swinging his massive paws at Prim's head. Lightning split the sky over head, lighting the field of their combat. His maw opened wide, wider, seeking flesh or feathers to clamp down on; to tear and rip and shred and leave bloody. He might not be able to kill the god, but he had gone too far, saying Mkodi's name. Neltarion intended to beat him to a pulp, and then possibly continue to do so until he gave up the location of the matrix. He had swore not to kill the god to the female, but she was just a dumb mortal. He was a GOD, and his will had more right than a promise made with a stupid simpering lioness.

Primitus stood his ground, claws bnaring and he braced, one wing sheilding, Nelly's jsaws finding the armour and bone and steel-sharp feathers, the younger god half screaming, half roaring in pain.
"I wioll not fault her for a position you forced her into!" Primitus snarled, staggering, then regrouped, frowning.
"Just as you forced on Gileana. Before she bore your cubs and you murdered and ate her. Or the way you slaughtered my son and grandson." He grimaced, glaring.
"I know your tricks. I will not give you wwhat you want. I will not give you hatred, or I'll be no better than a tyrant, myself." He braced, another chunk torn out by Nelly's attacks as he tried to keep braced.
"As for my Life Force... You'll not find it."

Nana could hear them out there, yelling at one another and battling. When Primitus called out in pain, she sprang up and went to the edge, dancing nervously along it. What if Primitus got hurt. She had seen he wasn't wearing his Matrix but she didn't know what the god was capable of. She couldn't see them very well, but the sounds were driving her mad. "Primitus!" She cried, her worry for him almost making her ill. There was nothing she could do. No way to help.
"Primitus! I love you!" She screamed, her lungs fit to burst. He needed her support. He needed to know that she was there and that she was not hurt. He needed courage and strength. And she needed him. She looked down off the edge of the cliff, debating trying to escape... though she knew it was useless.
"Primitus..." She whispered.

Neltharion was beyond listening to Primitus' words. He was furious, and he wanted to hurt the younger god. He couldn't kill him, but he was sure as hell going to try. He spat out the mouthful of feathers he'd torn free, casting them into the wind. With a primal bellow he rammed his horned head against Primitus' defending wing, aiming to toss him into the air. With a lame wing, he'd be easy to take down, and the god knew it.
Seeing red and belching flame, he pressed his attack. He didn't care if his prey didn't hate him. He just wanted to hurt this stupid would-be god. He could make him come to hate him...yes...and if beating him senseless didn't work, then he would just do away with the b***h. He'd lose the litter she promised to give him, but he already had seers. And he could get more. He would devour her alive, before his very eyes, unless Primitus' slaked his rage with his own flesh.

Primitus swepot his othjer wing forwards before being bodyslammed, rolling and rising calmly, dancing to evaqde lavaq. He was crippled but not badly-- if need be, he cxould glide, and he finally struck, trying to clamp down on Nelly's body. He remained even, but the back of his mind was concerned. He could styill come to harm, still fall unconcious without his matrix. He coujldn't die, but he healed like a mortal at less power, and he snarled, taking an offensive. No. HNe heard his mate. He wasn't goingv to die. He was going to live. An d he3 wouldn't give in, trying to slam into Nelly, trying to break something, anything.

If it was Primitus' calm that kept him out of harm's way for now, it was Neltharion's blind fury that helped him maneuver himself to counter the god of leaderships attack. As the gray god flew at him, he twisted sideways, raising a foreleg to block his chest...and exposing the wicked spikes lining the back of it. He let the other god crash into him, bracing for the hit and to drive home those vicious points.
He snarled in his enemy's face, and tried to bite it, scratch it, anything. If he cloud blind the god, all the better. It would be all too easy then, and that was what he wanted. To put Primitus back in his place, and to remind him of the power a real god could wield when he wasn't lowering himself to mortal standards.
He slashed with his claws at the god's wings, the tips of them dragging lines of sparks on the metallic feathers. Thunder crackled in the air, drowning out their twin roars for a split second, as well as the wail of his petulant mate down below.

The spikes st4ruck home, and the god tried to block, stumbling painfully, feathers falling off and exposing skin and bone, the spikes butrning him, pain filling him before his face.
Lava flew into his face, burning and he shut his eyes to protect them.
Then he felt his hind paws stumble, and he dropped sharply, forepaws trying to grip before ano5ther blow tore into his paws. And Primitus fell from the ledge, rolling until he fell again, body repeatedly hitting the cliff face, worsening the injuries, opening new ones as he fell, and at the bottom, he struggled to rise, before crumpling, eyes' glow diappearing.
And he wasn't moving, though unseen... He was breathing.,
Barely.

She could see them, could see their shapes out in the sky amongst the lightening and thunder. She began to feel tremendous hope at her rescue, at Primitus's safe return to the cliff side. Until she saw one of them drop, and horror struck her. It was not her captive who was falling. It was Primitus! She screamed, her terror evident. NO. Her beloved was falling, falling so fast towards the ground below. She began to panic, darting back and forth, not sure what to do. There was nothing she could do.
He had lost. He was surely dead. She began to weep, her head shaking. "No!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO" She wailed, dropping to the ground, covering her eyes in defeat. He couldn't be dead. She didn't believe it. She then tore herself from the edge of the cliff and back into the cave, where her weeping became frantic. It was over. He was gone. She was his now.
