Jacqueline stared at the open valley that laid before her. She had been contemplating for some time going on a journey in order to free herself of her anxiety. Or at least that was her hope. How had she ended up this way? Her family had no predisposition to anxiety or any other type of disorder. Well at least none that were like her problem. Jacqueline wondered how she could be so.... weird and the only one in her family like that. Her siblings were all fine and quite adventerous, so were her cousins. How had this had happened? She shook her head furiously as she closed her eyes. Why am I so... so.... crazy? She asked herself in silence. Before opening her eyes she let out a small sigh. One that she hoped would help her come to the realization of the problem with her brain. However, nothing at all happened. She still felt as confused as before.

Jacqueline secretly wondered if she should hunt down a stallion named Roman as he was the only one able to draw an emotion out of her that was anxiety but anger. She had felt so alive at that moment in time when she was a foal. How could he have done that? She had never been able to show anger or happiness before. Not even around her family. Well, that wasn't entirely true. She could show happiness. Just not for very long. After a short time she would find something else that would freak her out a long the journey with her family member. Her cousin Tian had helped bring out a more adventerous side to her, however, it did not last long. Jacqueline looked up at the open sky and wondered what problem would arise this afternoon. Sometimes she wished she could just see the future.

Jacqueline jumped higher then she ever had when she heard a yawn not but a few feet away from her. She instantly ran for cover behind a bush that didn't even cover her. However, she figured if she couldn't see them then they couldn't see her either. "Who--who are--are you?!" She yelled with a trembling voice. Her heart was racing within her chest and she felt very light headed. She hoped that she wouldn't pass out from her anxiety attack, however, it wouldn't be the first time. Jacqueline peeked over the small bush trying to see what it was that had yawned. Could it have been her imagination? No...... Right?

Jacqueline looked around but she couldn't see a figure. Had whatever it was really been imaginary? She shook her head. Sure she was a bit crazy by her own standards. However, she had never believed she was crazy enough to see things. Maybe she was getting worse! Was this the first sign before stepping into oblivion? Jacqueline stood in that spot for several moments. "Why?!" She said before tears rolled gently down her cheeks. "I really have fallen off the deep end!" She continued to wail to herself. Maybe she was crazy. She was beginning to talk to herself and was seeing things. Surely that must be it. But how does one cure insanity?

As soon as the stallion re-appeared she stopped crying even though the tears were still visible on her cheeks. "I..... I..... I'm Jacqueline." She said as her legs froze in their place. Jacqueline instantly knew that any attempts to run would end in vain and she secretly hoped the stallion would turn around and runaway. However, his coloration intrigued her, and even more then that his braid. Every color on the stallions body seemed to compliment each other well. "Whoa." She said before she could catch herself. Instantly she closed her eyes as tight as she could, still holding onto the idea that if she couldn't see her enemy then neither could it.

Jacqueline opened her eyes when the stallion yelled that she had run away. "I didn't run away! I simply hid myself from you!" She said with a slightly angry tone. How could one mix up to very unlike things? Did it appear that she had run away? Jacqueline began to question if running was simply all she had been doing her whole life. And if she was being honest with herself she knew that it was indeed true. She had been running from every opprotunity that had been tossed her way since she had first popped from her basket.

No matter how scared she was she couldn't help but laugh as she looked at his butt. "Your butt is pretty bright and foreboding." She said with a smile. Jacqueline didn't realize she was still staring at his bright butt until he told her that her name was lovely. "WHAT?!" Jacqueline replied in shock. Then she began blushing. She had never recieved a compliment from another soquili let a lone a stallion. However, she also began to wonder what his alternative motive was or if he even had one.

Jacqueline cheeks stayed bright red as she continued on with the conversation; making sure that she stayed a good distance away from the stallion. "Seraphino..... Your name is really unique just like you." She said making a accurate deduction. Jacqueline took this moment to look at his hair and lightly lifted her hoof. "I have never seen someone with your hair or coloration."

"I would have to agree that it would be hard to blend in." She said as she stepped back a few more inches and then laid down on the ground to show that she wasn't a threat so long as he stayed where he was. Jacqueline was glad that some part of her blended in and sometimes she could blend in with the snow and bushes due to her legs coloring matching them. "For the most part I am able to blend in... Except for when I am out in the open like this." She said with a sigh.

How did she always manage to attract people to her when all she wanted was for them to stay away? Well, that wasn't true at least not entirely. She wanted to know people and talk to them however, she was just to nervous around them. Jacqueline had finally gotten her breathing to regulate even though her heart was still pounding slightly in her chest. "Seraphino.... Why did you come here?" She asked curiously as her head tilted slightly to the side. Jacqueline's heart began to quicken once more in anticipation of his answer. Was here for something innocent? Or was it more devious?
