Times were changing. His cubs were growing up and he had agreed to give Shani more. She had promised no matter after this time, and that, he was okay with. He smiled, resting on his back
and sighing deeply. This was the first quiet moment he had got in a long time. Between Shani and his cubs, he never got a word in edgewise, so he was happy to get this little break. He yawned,
pink tongue curling from his maw. Yes this was the life. No cubs, no mate, just himself and the sun and sand. Three things he never got tired of. With a happy purr, he closed his eyes and prepared
to drift off. Though once his eyes were closed, a small giggle brought his attention. He flicked an ear, opened a single eye, and waited for the giggle again. It wasnt long before it came to his ears,
and he lifted his head, flipping onto his side so he could sit up. Great. Just what he needed, was another person interrupting his silence. He shook his head irritably, and tried to let his eyes focus.
He saw the little red and black juvenile rather quickly. She didnt exactly blen into the sands. Not like others in the pride, with their pelts of sheer gold. No, this was most definitely a sister of Shanis.
He would recognize those markings anywhere. But that thought alone annoyed him. Why was Shani's sister giggling at him? Why couldnt she go annoy Shani. Surely Shani would enjoy the company. He waited for the cub
to say something, and when she didnt he closed his eyes again. As soon as he was enveloped in darkness, the giggle came again. He growled, sitting back up and staring at the cub. She was standing there, a few feet in
front of him, merely staring. Odd. He didnt like it one bit. His eyes narrowed, he stood up, and turned his body around so his back was to her. It seemed to work, as he didnt hear her again, and then he closed his eyes
once more. The giggle coming that time made him stand and stare at her irritably.
"Can I help you? It would be greatly helpful if you left and made your way to someone else." He said, being blunt and not caring. He really didnt care about hurting feelings. Not usually. Shani and her family were incredibly resilient.
They really didnt even notice if you insulted them. Not that they were stupid, but eh.

She looked at him with a scowl and glared. She didnt seem angry, but she certainly was playing the part well. With an annoyed tone she began mocking him. He bristled when she repeated his words, and looked at her once more. He wished
she would just go away. He didnt know why he was the one constantly bothered lately. The cubs seemed to flock to him, and the more they did, the more he wanted to tell Shani to forget this whole thing. He shook his head and layed down,
and attempted to ignore her.

Oseye approached him, slowly and cautiously. When she was just close enough, she nipped at his ear, pulling and releasing before bouncing away with a shrill squeak of laughter. Tiki merely opened his eyes and glared ahead. Why was it that he
was the one she targeted? He knew she was just trying to annoy him. As was per the course with Shani's siblings. They liked to see how far they could push him. He supposed they likely knew of his adverseness to cubs. He raised his head,
glaring at her.
"Refrani from doing that. Or else I will find your mother." He said. An empty threat if he ever heard one, but she didnt know that. He was pretty believable even if he was far too lazy to get up and actually do it.

"Oh chill out old man. You are such a freaking baby sometimes." SHe said, and rolled her eyes. It was true though, he could be such a juvenile himself. He had the antics of a young cub, and those were the very things he disliked. Maybe he disliked
them because he knew he relatd to them and just didnt like it. Yes that was probably likely. Her black tail swished through the sands, getting dusted with the light color of it. She shrugged, unable to just leave him
alone now. No, now she felt like going at him and making his life miserable. Or at least today miserable, she'd settle with that too. Normally she wasnt such a spitefuly b***h about things, but this would be the way she behaved towards him.

"I dont know where you got your manners, but I would like to remind you exactly who is acting that way." He said, looking at her with a shake of his head. He never understood why some got so snotty when it came to someone having an attitude. It wasnt
like she hadnt JUST got done annoying him from his slumber. He groaned, and shook his head.

"You know what, I guess you can act however you want, Im simply not in the mood. But once you feel youve had enough of me ignoring you, I know Shani wouldnt mind your attentions." He said with a nod. He rolled back over onto his back, and closed his eyes.
Once she was sure he was asleep, sh e took off after him, and jumped in the air, falling onto his abdomen. He rose with wide eyes, gasping as she had knocked the wind from his lungs.

"Or maybe I will be the one to leave YOU." She said with an eyeroll. Tiki gasped for air, and once he was done sputtering and coughing, he growled and stood back up. He went to stalk towards her, but the girl was far quicker. She zipped between his legs,
and stood on the other side of him, before he had taken a step towards her.

"Ive got to be going. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.." She growled. She glared at him, and if she could she would have gotten one more good bite in. But for now, she was satisfied. She would just have to come find him later.. Yes.. Yes she would.
