It was like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders when she joined Namir's harem. And luckily for her, Rana was a wonderful girl. She had been concerned for a brief spell that she would have the misfortune of sharing a Pad with a bratty, inconsiderate, and even manipulative female. She had her respect of manipulation, thanks to her father's beybanu, but didn't particularly care for the skill herself.
She had other ways of getting her way, of course.
Stretching and shaking the sleep from her eyes, Farrah rose and walked out into the warm sunlight the morning had brought with it, purring quietly to herself. The warmth felt oddly nice on her dark coat. Later, it would be a burden, but for now, it was comfortable.

 Rana had woken in the wee hours of the morning when the sun had yet to start poking out from beyond the horizon. It was more or less dark, with some stars still visible in the dawn sky. Their brightness had already begun to wane though, and the morning sky blue was slowly but surely taking over. Within minutes the sun would have come up, but in the short time that the lioness felt she had to herself she had lay down on her back and watched the fading stars. She had a brief conversation with the twinkling celestial bodies, envisioning her mother's face among them and smiling quietly to herself.
"Good morning mother," she had started, and their little talk went on from there for a minute or so. She mentioned meeting Farrah and how Namir chose her to be his beybanu, and she shared her thoughts. "Namir chose her.." she said in a bit of a whispier. "So I'm sure she's a nice lioness."
The lioness lay there until the sun finally came out in all its brilliant glory, bathing the pride lands in its warmth. With a sigh she sat up and stretched, glancing toward the mouth of the den where she saw that Farrah had stepped out of the den. Rana straightened herself out and sat up, bowing politely in greeting.
"Good morning," she said, though how to continue the conversation she wasn't entirely sure.

 Namir was beyond happy. He was home, had a great den, a beloved beybanu and banu, and a job he loved. Ever since he was a cub who tripped over air he was interested in healing, mainly on himself. Since he had to leave on his banu quest he decided to learn healing as well, which he did from his teacher Val. Shortly after that he returned for a brief moment to see that all was well in the pride and with his luck met his cub hood friend Farrah. With no banu in tow he had to return to the rouge lands but it didn't take long to find Rana, a lioness who was so sweet and kind it was as if he had found a flower in the middle of a desert. To his delight she agreed to return with him and his life just got better because he found that Farrah was waiting for him. Rana and Farrah were like parts of his heart and soul so it was with great pleasure that he asked and received Farrah into his den. Both seemed to like and respect each other which was good for him because it would have broken his heart to see his two beloved not like each other.
With his thoughts on Rana and Farrah, Namir exited his den to find both lionesses right out side. With a bright smile he greeted them both, "Good morning Rana and Farrah."

Farrah jerked a little when she heard the quiet voice of Rana, and turned her head, smiling slowly. "Good morning, Rana." She greeted, turning to face her and sitting down on the ground. "I hope you slept well?" She said, tilting her head with a smile. "You were up early, weren't you?"
Farrah had begun to notice little peculiarities with her family after moving into the den. Rana woke early, and Namir was usually awake around the time Farrah woke up. Typically she snuck away for a spell before returning, both for her own sake and so that Namir could have his moments with Rana before she came back to complete the trio. If there was one thing she'd learned from her parents, it was that each banu deserved her time with the Pad.
Before she could say much else, though, the very Pad she thought of had come out of the den. Turning with a wider smile, Farrah nodded to Namir. "Good morning, Namir." She purred, unable to stop herself. She was still thriving on the excitement of belonging to her own harem, and especially to Namir. It was the honeymoon phase she'd heard of, no doubt. "I hope you slept well."

Rana's gaze stayed on Farrah until she took a seat as well. At her questions the lioness nodded slightly.
Yes to both questions, though the latter I do out of habit more than anything else." She stopped her sentence there, glancing at the darker pelted lioness for a moment before going on with the conversation. "I hope you did as well.." she said, an unsure smile crossing her maw for a split second.
There was a short bit of silence that fell between the two lionesses, broken only by the greeting of their Pad. Rana turned to face Namir, a slightly wider smile on her maw that there had been earlier. "Good morning," she returned his greeting, though as she'd been with her brothers and sisters back home, her voice was a bit quieter and she was a bit reserved as far as showing signs of affection toward him. For the moment she would leave that to Farrah, who'd only just joined the harem and seemed very excited about it still. Besides, she recently noticed that the Beybanu would wander off for a time at some point in the day, as if allowing her and Namir some alone time, so this was the least she could do.
She was an expert at shrinking into the background after all, and it was enough for her to see Namir happy. Whether that was spending time with her or the others in his harem, as long as he was happy she didn't mind. "So what plans do we have for today?" she asked, thinking it'd be nice for the three of them to do something together if they were all free.

Namir smiled at both lionesses. He was glad to see them get along, just as he was glad to spend alone time with each. Something that he knew was quite important after watching his own parents. Namir knew that with the arrival of cubs his time would no longer be his own. If he was lucky there would only be one litter to care for at a time, so his time would be split between the cubs, Rana, Farrah, and his pride duties. Add a second litter of cubs and he would be swamped so Namir would enjoy his time with his loves for as long as the gods willed.
"I slept well and deep Farrah. I hope you two slept well too." He smiled at them and joined them in the sun. With his big butt planted in the dirt he turned his face up to the sun, feeling the warmth seeping into his bones. "Plans? I don't have anything that can't be put off. Farrah?"
