Heavy hoof falls trudged along the dry dirt path. Birds chirped happily in the trees around him, entertaining the stallion that traveled below with their songs. His breaths puffed out through his nose in short silent puffs, as his soft blue eyes gazed at the pathway ahead of him. The beautiful, lush forest was unfamiliar to him. He hadn't traveled this far from home before. There was a feeling hanging in the air that he couldn't describe. "Fluff" He whispered, trying to wake the small white bunny that was asleep in his mane. The rabbit woke with a start, poking it's nose out from the stallion's long black locks. "Do you feel that too?" Akemi asked, looking around himself nervously. It felt as though something, someone was watching them.

Spirits, I'm here. She thought as she walked among the trees at the edge of her family's territory. She'd been here a few times, to seek peace for herself, especially from those who sought to bring chaos and unrest to her thoughts and emotions. Aruba, stay close. The hummingbird was by her ear in seconds, the beating of her heart thrumming silently from his wings.
Allowing the spirits to guide her hooves, she'd only taken a few steps when she noticed someone else just on the other side of the trees; a stallion. She stumbled slightly to see someone so suddenly, and so big, granted she was only slightly smaller than him, most of the males in the family were her size or smaller, with the exception of Gabe. And she couldn't help but stare from the safety of her trees for a few more steps.
Knowing Aruba was there with her, and the spirits were there to protect her, she stepped out with confidence, her head held high, to confront the stranger. Who are you, and what has brought you here?

He hadn't expected someone to just announce their presents behind him. Akemi's bones jumped as his eyes locked on the large silhouette that appeared through the trees. His pride stopped him from turning tail and running away, so instead he took in the appearance of the female that was now looking at him closely. Fluff had already taken shelter deep in his mane, the rabbit choosing a more so cowardly way out of the situation, leaving Akemi alone to regain his composure. His appology jumped to his lips by habit. "I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to trespass," He stuttered out, his eyes taking in her full figure. Her build was similar to his own, yet she was slightly smaller. The blacks of her mane was highlighted by sharp slivers of rainbow, that reminded him of his own. What caught his full attention was the soft tones of the makeup that surrounded her eyes, and the colorful leopard spots that decorated her coat. "My name is Akemi," He answered her, straightening his back. He could feel his bunny companion stir beneath his hair.

Justice realized how threating she must have looked, and took a step back, relaxing her posture so as not to seem so intimidating, and to make herself look smaller. Her eyelashes blinked slowly over her large green eyes, knowing he was taking her in, analysing her and what his best option was.
There is no need for apology. You did not know where you were, I take it, so there is no way you could have trespassed. This is the edge of the territory, so you have nothing to worry about. A soft smile lit her face, feeling guilty now that she'd caught him off-guard. All too suddenly she became aware of a chattering beside her ear, making it twitch in slight annoyance. Remembering Aruba, she glanced sideways to see Aruba's feathers ruffled and his face like it usually was when she was around another stallion, but she'd never seen him this upset.
My name is Justice, and this is Aruba. You'll have to exuse his manners. However, you've told me who you are, but you haven't told me why you are here.

Akemi bowed his head slightly as she dismissed his appology. So he wasn't in trouble. It would have been a first for the stallion, and he wouldn't have been sure how to get himself out of it. He wasn't a fighter, and running didn't seem appealing with the narrow, uneven spacing between trees.
"No offense taken, Jusice" He spoke, cautiously eying the humming bird that lingered close, glaring at him, from Justice's side. Usually smaller critters were drawn to him, as Fluff had been. But this humming bird didn't seem to like him upon first impression.'It must be protective of it's mistress. How noble,' Regaurdless of the glare that Aruba was giving him, Akemi smiled at the bird. "If I were a lesser being, surely I would flee at the sight of your determination to keep your mistress safe," he complimented, remembering how a friend had earned Fluff's approval. It was through pleasantries and politeness. It also came with giving the mare space.
Akemi blinked, slightly flustered when she reminded him of her question. "I was wandering. I hadn't a destination in mind, and it was pure coincidence that I came upon your herdland," He offered with a sheepish smile. Usually his hooves would lead him to some interesting sights, but never before had he intruded into some one's territory. "If you don't mind me asking, what kind of herd are you?" She looked to be a pure unicorn, possessing the horn and tail, yet he hadn't met one that compaired to him in size.

At the term 'Mistress', both Aruba and Justice flustered, but Aruba more visibly so. He sailed forward, as if to assault the large stallion, but a small noise from Justice halted him, and he retreated into the trees, but not before sending what he thought to be a deathly glare in Akemi's direction.
Sighing, Justice shook out her mane, the jewel on her horn swaying wildly, an let if fall about her shoulders and hooves. It made her look slightly more wild this way, but that was something of which she was not aware. "It seems that he is not fond of you." She simply and obviously pointed out. She was not sure how to feel with this new development, but she felt the desperate need to correct his statement, "And i am not his 'mistress', as you put it. We are of equal ground, both a part of the other, as he is my heart, graciously sent to me by the Spirit Mother." She spoke as if this was totally normal, that an outsider would instantly understand and trust in what she said.
"We are a herd of spirits." She told him, "Each of us possess the power to tap into the world of the spirits, talk to them, learn from them, hear stories of their, and our own, past. All but myself and Charisma have the power to talk to each other through our minds. For I am only an outsider, let in by the gracious Faith. I'm sad to say, though, that she would not be as.....accomodating, as I, if she had come accross you before I."
