
Siad drew a deep breath, the coolness of the desert night still carried on the morning breeze. He enjoyed waking before Ra began his journey as Khepri, to watch him begin his travels across the sky in his sun boat. It made Siad feel the deep connection he had to the land, and to the Pride around him.
His day would begin soon enough, with early morning classes with the younger cubs, and then later in the morning with the older ones. It would be a full day, a good day, one filled with young minds and young voices, but for now it was quiet, and Siad enjoyed the peace.
