Shia'lu had slipped away from her father's pack lands again to visit the land that had a daytime, just her luck then that it happened to be night anyway beyond the dark forests. Not that she could complain though, really. She did work best by the moonlight.
"Blood, blood~" Swaying her tail she dug her claws into the soft earth for a moment, holding onto her kit-song when she caught the scent of a stale kill on the wind. Shame that it wasn't fresh, but she could fix that. A rabbit would spill some pretty blood, or a bird - but she'd only admit to herself that she didn't like to chase after those in the air, her wings weren't the best at speed- or even a fish if she remembered where that little stream was. For now however, the swaying grass was enough, and she worked her way through it slowly, trying to not let a single sound escape. She'd show her sister that she could TOO be stealthy, when this trip was over.
"Blood, blood~ Shia'lu will spill the pretty blood~" Okay, so she couldn't do the 'stalk without talking' routine just yet, but Stealth wasn't hers anyway. So there.

Burning red eyes glared out from the depths of the forest as the large, male ulaya searched for something to relieve his craving. A long, bored yawn revealed the bloodstained dagger-like teeth that rested in his gums.
Toxin smirked as he glanced at an innocent pink flower. Slowly, he reached out a burning paw, something he was still getting used to, and little the lonely flower on fire. His eyes glowed for a moment as he watched it turn into ash. "Goodbye weak little flower." He mumbled before pushing himself up onto all fours. The flames around him licked at the air, getting a somewhat sweet taste of old, spilled blood. Toxin licked his maw, being careful of his sharp canines. Night time had come rather quickly. Suddenly, the male took off towards the edge of the forest where all the little creatures would be trying to scurry off to hide.
Suddenly, the sound of a voice caused the male to stop dead in his tracks. Blood? He turned towards the female's voice and trotted along until he saw the red goddess. Toxin tucked his bat like wings against his back as he stepped forward towards the female. "Blood?"

Ears perking at the smell of something charred, Shia'lu pondered going to investigate. The smell was caught in the breeze though and she wasn't as good at tracking things as she could be. So, ignoring that she pawed the earth a little because she could, and took a few more steps before another voice reached her.
"Blood~ Shia likes watching the pretty blood yes." Looking at who spoke up, she blinked a couple times, sniffing at the air. "Glowy male likes blood?" His scent was a bit familiar though somehow. Hm, what could it be.
Shrugging just a little bit she started to walk towards him and pace just a little to his left flank for a better look. "Shia ants to know who glowy male is. He smells familiar but Shia doesn't know anyone with fire on them."

As the female drew nearer, the slit in the male's eyes narrowed on the female and a vicious smirk appeared on his maw. What a familiar female... he only knew of a few females in his whole life and most were related to him.
She, however, wasn't related. Glowy male... was that what she would call him now? The flames became smaller as she asked who he was and he allowed the red glow to grow slightly. His wings shuffled slightly as his eye twitched once. "Goddess~?" Of course it was his goddess, she was the only other red female he knew of, besides his sister.
The flames suddenly grew once again as he watched her growing closer to him. He was taught by his mother to not let others become too close to him. If he let his guard down for only a split second, he would be dead... but he enjoyed the pain of his family attacking him.

Shia didn't seem to notice, or it could have been that she simply didn't care, that the flames shrank. Tilting her head to the left first, then the right, she grinned. "Glowy kit is all grown up now. His wings got bigger too." So what if she was just stating the obvious, she didn't care.
"Shia bets she grew up first though. Shia wanted to grow up faster but time didn't let her cheat." Oh if she could have though, ah well. Noticing him keeping his eyes on her she just grinned all the more and sat down. For a second or so she was tempted to paw out at the flames, but a wisp of... well, actually she didn't know what the wisps of black that came from her tail were, actually. It distracted her long enough to set aside the thought of touching flame though, and she only grinned. "It has been a while since Shia saw the glowy male. Does he still like blood~?"

Toxin watched the goddess closely as she seemed to focus on his wings. A low growl rumbled in his chest as he nodded his head simply to the female's comments about his new appearance. "I see the goddess has grown as well... and gotten fur?" He looked at the little article of clothing draped around her shoulders.
Slowly, he licked his maw as she said something about blood. The slits in his eyes narrowed on her once again as he dug his claws into the dirt. "Yes... and I am starting to crave some now. Perhaps the goddess could help me out," Toxin's voice was dark and smooth as he stood up and began to slowly circle the goddess. She was one of few ulaya he felt comfortable enough around to trust to become his hunting partner.

Shia spared no more than a glance at the furry collar at her neck. She was rather fond of the patchwork clothing, she was also very sure that the pelts that had made it must have certainly come from her father's hunts. Even though she had no proof of such a thing. "Shia likes her fur even if it didn't get to be colored with blood. It would have been nicer then."
Turning her expression slowly into a grin, Shia flicked her tail behind her eagerly. "Shia would enjoy hunting with Glowy Male. Shia remembers where a rabbit nest was a few nights ago, she can show you and we can look for blood there." Hunting with someone, and no sign of her father sneaking around to spy on her stalking skills, would be perfect. Hunting for the pretty warm blood would be that much better, she didn't get to have that kind of game often.
