'This is not good' he thought as he crossed the threshold of what passed for his lair. He had been surveying the city for some time to see were it was he stood and he didn't like what he had seen. He understood the Lycan's, they rarly had hunts cross over into other clans but the vampires were different. Jaden knew that vampires could hold grudges for centurys and many would try to kill him without knowing his history. He had to get in contact with the clan leaders here. Find out what the score was.
He ran his claws down the wall and large chunks of drywall fell away. 'Oh well' he thought. That is something to take care of another night. He was tired from his hunt and shifted over to a corner where he could curl up to sleep.

It was done. Jaden slumped down in a corner of what passed for his "apartment" and sighed. 'Well at least that's over with' he thought. He had been under alot of stress lately with trying to mantain any secrecy that he had left, but that didn't really matter much now. He had sent his message to the Bane's, now he had to wait and hope that his judgment was correct. Oh well, he was good at waiting by now, years of being both hunter and hunted had taught him a great deal of patience. He could wait.

The wolf crashed in through a hole that had appeared in the rooms ceiling recently. This is not good he thought. Two new leaders now to deal with. Both inexperienced and entering power during a time of turmoil. Jaden had seen this happen before. He would be a main suspect. Probably from the male, Dusk. Jaden didn't like him. He was to young, to impulsive. He crawled over into the corner that he useually slept in. And on top of all this he still felt concerned for that woman. He hadn't found anything about her, it was like she dropped out of sight. But why would she do that?
It mattered little. The wolf had not survived as long as he had by being an inexperienced tracker.
He would find this woman.
And then meet with the new elders.

Jaden crawled into his building on his hands. Tonight had been tiresome. He hadn't eaten in a while and was feeling weak. As he climbe up toward the sixth floor thoughts kept buzzing through his head. It seemed that he had to keep an eye on everyone: Dusk, Myythren, Anne, Fate, Silver, and this new Fin girl. He sighed. "I expect I'll come to get used to it" he said to the darkness. Right now it was this Fin that he was worried about. If she actually got Lycans killed over her schemes then Jaden would spare Myyth the suffering of posting a death order on one of her kind...
Jaden slumped down in the stairwell and began drifting off to sleep.
If Fin got any Lycans killed then Jaden would rip her throat out himself...

:She entered the building slowly, not sure of her surroundings. She walked to what she hoped was Jaden's apartment and gently knocked on the door.: "God I hope this is Jaden's apartment.." :She muttered quietly to herself, waiting for an answer.:

:She smiled a little at the complete transformation from when they were talking at the curb to this very second. She didn't mind it one bit and she slowly looked up to him. Her eyes glittered with a soft joy as she looked his face over, feeling safe in his arms.:

"I don't care.." :She whispered softly, she blushed a tiny bit.: "I feel safe around you.." :She paused and picked her words carefully now: "And I feel safe being touched by you.."

Jadens eye's snapped up from the vampire he was holding to where Silver stood. For once he had been caught completly off guard. His eyes momentarily turned a brighter red in frustration but then eased off. "So pup you finally decided to show up." despite the harsh tone of his voice Jaden still continued to tenderly cradle Rein in his arms "I've been meaning to talk with you for a while... but first introductions. Rein..." he looked down into her eyes "this is Silver. He's a Lycan and we have something to discuss. If it's no trouble I'd like it if you stayed for it."
