((OOC: This log is between my character, Zuraya, and Buffy_the_Bloody's character Ouran))

It was nighttime, and Zuraya breathed a sigh of relief as the air had cooled to a tolerable temperature once again. The problems with having a dark color pelt! The lioness was alone now, nestled into a makeshift den in a thicket of thorns. So far, nothing had come along to bother the little family. Zuraya didn’t know where her cubs were… well, cubs wasn’t quite the right word anymore, was it? They were adolescents now and almost full grown, although they would always be a touch smaller due to being hybrids.

Zuraya was tired, and she wasn’t worried about their whereabouts. The young felines were probably out playing or trying to hunt.

He stalked through the lands, eyes focused and determined. He would find someone to bring to the Ukuucha with him. If it was required to join, then by god he would do it.
His dislike of females aside, he needed to do this quickly. He had been searching for a few days, and he had decided the next female that ran across his path, he would demand
she follow him. He didn't like to be mean really. But he would do it! If she even faltered in following him, he would knock her so hard across her jaw that he would have to drag
her back. Yes. That sounded like a plan. The dark offered good cover to any unsuspecting lionesses, however.. The bright parts of him stood out rather well. His eyes ticked this way,
then that, looking for anyone. It had to be a lioness course. He may not like females, but he hated hybrids. He would never be the reason anything like that roamed the earth.
Though if he knew the female waiting had hybrid cubs, it wouldnt change his mind. So they could die on their own, because their mother would be following and he'd be damned if the heathens
came too. He was just the type to go that far.

He growled, and decided he might as well just yell to them. They didnt have to know his plan. He could easily pretend that he was lose, and it wouldnt be difficult to trick them.. At first.
"Help me!" He feigned.

"I'm..lost.."

Zuraya herd a sounds that started her out of her unrestful dozing. At first she thought it was one of her cubs, but once she'd shaken her head and gotten her thoughts clear, she knew it didn't sound like any of them. Who was it?

Zuraya stood up and climbed out of the thicket, glancing around as she searched for the source of the voice. The night was dark but not so dark that she couldn't make out the outline of a male lion not far off from where she stood.

“Hello?” She called, uncertain though willing to help if he was lost, “Do you need help?” Zuraya didn't suspect for a moment that he had ulterior motives, all she knew was that he was a stranger, so she was slightly wary anyway. But she'd never had much trouble with strangers before, and thought she was strong enough to take care of herself. She'd never really fought a male before, so she had no idea that she might be wrong...

He heard the female climbing from the thorns, and his eyes were directed in her direction. He watched as she came closer, and he wanted to laugh. But keeping the feigned sad look on his face,
he couldnt do that. Once she got close enough he would demand things of her. But until she got close enough, stepping towards her was room for intimidation. Right now, he didnt want to intimidate.
"Im lost!" He cried again, and used his paw to cover his eyes as if he was completely shamed. He still stood, and his balance was quite good even for an average sized lion.

The breeze blew through his mane, and it felt good. He was quite happy with the night, it made this hunt easier with how great it had been. She was beautiful from what he could see.. Ebony pelt with
markings that were such a bright hue it distracted him. Almost. He didnt like females, and he didnt like her. But if he had to have them, it was good that she was pretty.

"Do you think you could direct me in the direction of home?

Zuraya could see the lion a little more clearly now that she had moved a bit closer, and she felt sorry for him. She didn't know how he lost his way, but she knew she had to help him find his way back if she could. Normally she wasn't so nice, but mostly it was towards other females, and she had to admit, living on her own for so long had made her just a touch lonely, with only her own cubs to keep her company. The presence of other adults was sorely missed.

“How did you lose your way? Did you get lost in the dark?” Zuraya asked, looking around to see if there was anyone else here. She approached the male lion carefully, but she didn't see him as a threat... or so she thought now, anyway.

“Maybe I can help you find it, I sort of know the area,” she told him, scenting the wind to see if she could pick up a trail. She shouldn’t, it was just a tad too windy tonight. “Where are you from? A pride?”

He grinned, ignoring her words for the most part as she stepped closer. The only thing he focused on was the fall of each pawstep. Placing his paw down when she was close enough, he looked at her with a dark gaze.
"No, but you're about to.." He said. If she had cubs, or anyone else, then she would indeed be lost to the dark. Because for all they would ever know would be that she never returned home. Lost. He flicked his tail irritably,
though he was incredibly proud with his current catch. He wouldnt hit her over the head, not if she obeyed. However he was prepared to, just in case. His muscles tensed, and he looked dead into her eyes. He wanted to make sure
she knew how incredibly serious he truly was.

"You are going to come with me. You are mine now, and that is that. If you should choose to decline, the consequence is at a steep price." He said, straightforward and to the point. No matter what, she couldnt say she didnt know.
He liked that.. He liked when they earned the beating, as he didnt like doing it for no reason.

Zuraya didn't say anything for a moment; she was simply stunned. At first she thought he must be joking, but the look on the stranger's features told her he was quite serious. And suddenly she felt very foolish for getting within striking distance of him. As a male, he was bigger and stronger than she was, and she wasn't prepared to fight or run. Both would probably end badly.

“What?” She spoke finally, sound utterly bewildered. She almost took a step back but then rethought it; she didn't want to provoke him. “To... where?”

She wondered idly if she would be able to outrun him? She wasn't particularly fast, but if she could get to her den in the thicket maybe the thorns would slow him down enough for her to escape...?

Oh he wasnt joking.. In fact he was very serious. He wasnt sure if he'd ever really been as serious as he was now, and that showed on his face. It was like a wall, one not easily broken down and certainly not one that joked.
He flicked his tail shaking his head irritably. She looked visibly shaken, he supposed that was a compliment, but he was now waiting for her to screw up. He prepared his claws for her trying to run off, readying them and waiting.
He looked at her and rolled his eyes. Maybe this pretty female was incredibly dumb.. Perhaps that was why she had asked what he had said.
"I dont believe I stuttered. Now I dont care to know your name yet, but you can call me Master Ouran. Until I ask, do not inform me of your own." He warned, wanting to see if she would keep that rule. He did like rules, and he was a stickler
for them too.

"To the Ukuucha'Wafalme, you -" He refrained from finishing the sentence, and bit the bottom lip. He didnt want to start the name calling thing.. Not right now. He cleared his throat and snorted.
"You are going to be apart of my harem. And you will follow me willingly, or I will take you by force."
He warned.

Zuraya listened, and the more he said the worse her fear became. He was definitely not fooling around, and if she didn't want to go she'd have to try and make a run for it now. She HAD heard of the Ukuucha'Wafalme before, and she guessed that he was one of the less gentle males of the pride infamous for it's poor treatment of lionesses. So she had to decide now... would it be worth it to try and run, and have to fight him if she wasn't quick enough? Or should she go with him and hope that things turned out all right? It was a blessing that the cubs weren't around. They were adolescents now, so if she were taken at least they would be all right.

As she heard the male cut off before calling her a name – or that's what she assumed he was going to do – she knew she would hate herself if she didn't at least try to get away. Either way, she was bound to piss off a male like this and sooner or later get beaten up, right?

Zuraya tensed her muscles, preparing to flee, and only took a moment's hesitation before she hissed at him and turned, running as fast as she could go towards the thicket of thorns. If she made it in time, maybe she'd be safe...

There she went. He smiled with a creepy grin, and his claws dug into the earth to chase after her. She was smaller and so she was already at an advantage with speed.
But he was taller, and had more muscle to push him a bit harder. He had expected her to run, and so he had expected he'd have to hurt her. She had to know who was boss now.
He had to dominate his respect from her. He lashed out at her with a front paw, exteding his claws in an attempt to make her falter. If he was able to bring her down, then
he might even have his way with her.. Just to show her who was her master. She had hissed at him even. Something that meant she had fire, but it also meant she was incredibly
dumb.

Once he had batted with one paw, he continued running and batted at her with the other. If one didnt hit, the other would.

Zuraya hissed again, this time with pain, as a blow from one of his massive forepaws knocked one of her back legs out from under her as she tried to run. She landed hard on her side, skidding to a stop and raising dust from the force of her landing. He was faster than she had thought he would be! Glancing at her hind leg, the one that had been hit, she saw bright red droplets welling up from where his claws had raked her skin. It wasn't a life-threatening injury, but it would make it very painful to try and run again, and now she didn't dare.

Zuraya recovered her senses quickly and made a big show of looking submissive, wincing through the pain in her hind leg. She didn't want to sat she was sorry, but she also could see that if she tried to get up again at this point, she would probably regret it. Zuraya was a willful lioness, but she also knew when she was beaten, and she'd take humbling herself over certain injury any day.

“Okay,” she gasped, panting with fear and the exertion of her attempted escape, “I'll go with you. Don't hit me again.”

He watched her fall with pride, and he slowed his gait into a slow trot, eventually halting once he was looking over her. He puffed out his chest, and looked at her as if he had won.
Though her words made his prideful face turn to one of annoyance. He stuck at her face, not trying to knock her out, but to silence her. She needed to learn her place the hard way it seemed,
and he'd gladly help her with that. Once he had hit her, his face eased and he snorted.

"Get up. We have a long way to go." He replied, hoping for her sake she didn't argue and merely did as he said. He wasnt the type to deal with backtalk well.. Not at all. He was tired of others
demanding things of him, and so long ago he had taken the same roll. He would be the one demanding.

"If youre lucky, you will live peacefully. However a peaceful life means doing what youre told. If you deviate from what I tell you, ever, you will get the same thing you got today, only then youre on
-my- turf." He said, looking at her with a nod.

Zuraya cried out again as her face was cuffed hard, and she knew that it would leave a bruise if it didn't bleed much. Her first reaction to try and run again was quelled, she knew that it wouldn't make a difference now that he was standing over her, and for the time being all she wanted was not stop annoying him so he would stop hitting her. So she said nothing, and when he told her to get up, she did, silently thankful that he didn't want to rough her up some more just for fun. Her leg hurt when she stood on it, but it wasn't broken so she knew she could walk on it. It was just sore, and probably would be for some time.

Zuraya looked around quickly, making sure that her cubs were still nowhere to be seen. If they were around, they where hiding well; she saw no sign of them. So she simply watched the male lion who hadn't yet told her his name, waiting for her orders. Maybe one day he'd let his guard down and she could get away... she could stay hopeful.
