Crashing through the forest a tiny brown/tan blur hurried in no real direction, causing quite the ruckus. The pup couldn't help it for behind her ran a large male wolf with hatred in his eyes. The reason for him chasing her made the pup whine pitifully but, Eve wouldn't let go of the hunk or meat clamped in her jaws. She had to eat! Couldn't the big wolf kill more animals for food? The little one had been taking care of herself but, still had to scavenge from bigger wolfs kills to survive. Most didn't seem to mind when the kind little female nibbled on their kills but, for some reason the big black male had become angry. He had attacked her! Whimpering at the recent memory Eve pressed onward her little paws hitting something odd and soft. Confusion filled her eyes. In her confusion she forgot to keep running and that sent her sprawling forward into the soft substance. Sand. It stung when the little grains stuck to the few scratches Eve had earned running from the mean male. 'I have to move! He's gonna eat me!' Whining around the meat still held firmly in her jaws Eve scrambled digging in the sand trying to run somewhere.

Heavy paws hit the earth in a loud symphony, a dark large wolf raced through the trees growling viciously. Coal hated, HATED pups. Insolent little whiners always wanting something, always taking his food or time away. Snarling he stopped mid stride nose sniffing, chest rising and falling rapidly as he searched for the little thief. He had injured the pup so it shouldn't be too hard to find her..all he had to do was focus. Sure enough a few moments of waiting helped and, Coal shot off again closing in on his prey. How dare that little pup take his meat! It didn't matter that the little thing didn't have parents or a pack to care for her. All that mattered hung in her jaws. A large hunk of deer meat which even through he constant tripping she refused to drop! The sudden scent of the ocean hit the large male but, it wouldn't distract him form the task at hand. That stumbling fumbling brat would give him his meat and, then he would teach her a lesson. "Don't try to run this sand will swallow up your feet. Just give me back whats mine you little whelp!" When the pup ignored him and, kept on trying to escape Coal moved in easily trading through the sand his eyes dark with hatred.

Kia was discussing matters of his roudy pups and them pretending he was prey when Wall-e's two toned eye's spotted something not far form the den. nor far from where the pups were playing near Eva and Roy. The sight tore any concentration he had for his rabbit friend as a growl rose in his maw.
Eva met his eye's as he jumped swiftly off the ledge, landing with only a quick glance at her and their family before he took off at full speeds, A trail of sand following him as well as his mate, whom had left the pups with Roy and the pack. For she too saw the awful site.
Quicker then his massively large body should allow Wall-e darted between the solidly black wolf and the struggling frightened pup. His tail high and jaws exposed with every white fang he had flashing for the smaller black wolf to see. "What the Hell is going on in MY territory!?" he snarled out. Not a hint of his usual friendly air present as he stood between what the rogue seemed to be hunting. He could hear Eva Snarling behind him, assuring him at the same time that the pup would be safe as he dealt with this trash. Who dares, attack a pup in his homelands. That to happen in general cause that snarl to turn into a half contained roar as he held back with every restraint he had not to attack this low life. She was instinctively following her mate. her maternal side fighting full force to push her harder as the fear scent of the small brownish pup's filtered threw her nose. She would have beaten Wall-e easy had he not had a good head start. But that didn't matter much as she slid right behind the young one, placing her forpaws infront of the little femme which put her right under Eva's elegantly poised frame, her own snarl matching her mates as both their tails raised high. This what their pack lands, and NO pup would suffer harm while they were able to prevent it.

Coal snarled ready to attack when he heard the paws hitting the sand and smelled them. Alphas. Damn! Not one to back down he stood tall ears pinned back, though inside he quivered a bit wavering slightly. If only he had a pack..a strong pack that would back him up. Deciding a lie might be best..he lowered his tail looking the exact opposite from a few moments earlier though, no fear showed he submitted. Not a true submission but, he did lower his gaze and tail ever the lying trickster that could usually make even the smartest wolf think he was an ice good wolf. "I did not mean to chase her this far into a packs territory. Please forgive my mistake, she's always running off I suppose I snapped. Surely you know of wayward pups, alpha..?" The lies fell smoothly from his maw, his eyes looking more soft though inwardly he prowled waiting for them to give him the brown pup and, his meat. Coal would have his revenge if only they believed his lie and the pup kept quiet. The pups words had his cool facade fading a low snarl again rumbling from his chest his eyes narrowed. Before he could speak she spoke again. Damn that pup! How did one so young become so strong and smart? Annoyance and loathing filled his cruel eyes. "I will leave without a fight but, know this..I'll be back you little worthless pup!" Snapping he kicked up sand hoping to distract the alpha for long enough to run away unscathed. The sound of paws even though muted slightly from the sand shocked Eve, making her whole body lower defensively her jaw tightening further around the meat she held. She feared the worst from the large male and, female her tiny frame shaking with fear. The urge to run increased before the growling adults turned their rage on that mean nasty black wolf. When a shadow covered her she looked up quietly in awe of the beautiful female standing so...protectively over her. Pricking her ears up she tried to stare around the big male, she wanted to see if the black male that had attacked her looked afraid. When he didn't look fearful but, instead submitted it shocked the pup who tilted her head then frowned around the meat eyes narrowing. With a muffled growl Eve sat the meat down freeing her mouth so she could speak. How dare he try to say she belonged to him! He had tried to kill her! Knowing how dangerous the male could be the wise little pup pressed back farther under Eva's body seeking the warm protection before speaking in a warm voice filled with wisdom beyond her young age. "He's lying..s-sir. I do not belong to him my parents are dead. I just wanted s-some of his meat but then he tried to attack me so I took a little and, ran away!" When Coal opened his mouth to protest she growled more forcefully though kept her submissive stance around the large obviously alpha pair. "If I'm your pup t-then why did you try to bite at me and tell me you were gonna kill me? My daddy would have never done that." A strong puff of air left Eve's lips her fur fluffing up. "I-i'm sorry I took your meat but, you had a lot a-and I asked nice. If you had just said no and, n-not attacked me I wouldn't have run so...f-fast with the food." Whining at the end of her words she turned pleading almost honey colored eyes up at the beautiful female protecting her. They begged without words for the pretty wolfess to believe her.

Wall-e Wasn't a stupid wolf. One didn't change stances like that so quickly, and though the other tried to hide his motives he wasn't speaking to a pup. This alpha knew the difference between a lie and truth, though it helped when the little one spoke up. His growls picked up where they left off as he watched the black wolfs next moves carefully. Eva was the one who reacted like lightening when the wolf's parting words left his lips and sand flew. He let her, as she moved with the grace only a true ocean wolf could.
------------ Eva She kept a growl going, her ears back and tail high as the wolf was called on his lie, though it wouldn't have been easy to miss. She wouldn't have givin the pup back to him even if the little one HAD been his, No parent should treat their whelp like that. Ever!
When he moved to leave, his words are what made her move. There was no way this wolf would escape with those kind of parting words, no way he'd leave a little one fearing for the rest of her life. Eva used the speed bread into her by the great ocean wolves whom her heritage came from, using her lean form to slide past Wall-e and around the wolf before he broke treeline. And just like that she was on him, Teeth and claws aiming for his throat. She might not be as big as her mate. but she was fast, and fierce.
(She ain't aiming to kll but she does want to leave him with a good... "parting" gift... one that shows IK isn't a pack to mess with)

He had been so close to escaping. Yelping in pain when he felt the lightning quick strike from the wolfess Coal turned his own fangs on her. Warm blood flowed but, he had never been easy to hold down. Even the largest of his kin had issues keeping the sly cruel wolf still. He bucked and slashed out with his claws until he could get free. Then with a large wound to his pride and, to his neck he retreated easily vanishing into the shadows of the forest. Startled when the female alpha moved away Eve watched with wide eyes, worriedly jumping at the growls and yelps. When Coal moved off she turned back to her stolen meat keeping it close to her still submissive little body. They obviously weren't mean like that male but, she still feared their power..they were big wolves. They might not like a wretch like her. A pup from a pack that wished she were dead. Would the word have spread about the beta's child going missing? About how the pack wanted her back...wanted to get rid of her and, move on, start fresh. Shuddering a pitiful whimper escaped her small ears folding back uncertainly. "I-i'm sorry I came in your territory s-sir..I will go now.."

Wall-e had been caught up in the grace of his mates movements, but the small pups voice brought him out of that as the black wolf took off like a pathetic flea from his mates attack. "Where do you think you will go little one? Surly he is waiting for you out there... and being on your own is no place for a pup..."
Eva walked over proudly, a few scratches on her face proving that she fought a good fight. "Pup. your scent tells me that you've been on your own for a while, not to mention what you've said of stealing food..." her voice was grave as her blue eye's met her mates two toned ones, something passed between them before Wall-e nodded and picked up after her as if they had one mind. "Stealing is wrong... and for that he did have a right to chase you, though I'll never condone harming a pup... that was wrong. Regardless do you have anywhere to go little one?"
Eva didn't wait for the little one to respond before speaking again. "If you need a place to stay your welcome to join us... we have very large pack and we've never minded taking in pups." her voice had gone from stern to tender, feeling like the punishing part was well over with, this little one had been through enough, she and Wall-e knew that much.

Trying to look brave her eyes moved towards the forest as if she could see the dark wolf..waiting in the shadows to try and, kill her. Ears and tail lowering Eve looked away from the elder wolves with sadness brimming in her young eyes. "Been..alone for a long time..momma and daddy..my pack killed them." Fidgeting her gaze moved upwards a sudden spark of hope lighting her up. "I-if..if you would let me.." Her voice faltered but, it was obvious what she wanted to say with her wide open eyes. To be part of a pack again, to have some semblance of family..to not fight and scrounge for food. IT would be a dream come true. Tail finally giving a tentative shy little wag Eve moved closer to them but, not before grabbing her chunk of meat. The day had started out so terribly but, now the young pup felt it had ended so wonderfully!

Eva wasted no time in removing the distance as she went and brushed up against young eve. licking the pups face gently. "Then welcome to IsraKaiya young one. your new home."
Wall-e was close behind his mate in the affection nuzzling before heading back in the direction of the pack. his mind happily going over how blessed they were, and how nice it would be to have yet another young one in their pack.
