It had been a few days since everything had gone down and Mitsu still saw no sign of Shun at school. She asked Bent-tail everyday if he had seen or heard from the assassin but so far there was no word. It worried her not knowing what had become of her friend and it tore at her to think that something might have happened to him. He wasn't exactly in the safest business. What if something happened to him while he was out? What if Suto had done something to him? Would he be like her brother...and she would never see him again?

It all made her uneasy and restless, unable to sleep because she felt like she could be doing something to find him. When she wasn't at school, with Suto, with Desmond or at work she was searching, walking the streets hoping to find some clue. There was nothing to be found though, not that she knew what to look for. She was hoping maybe to at least catch a scent...... anything.

Dejected Mitsu headed toward the boys dorm hoping maybe, just maybe Shun would be there. Sure Bent had already checked and said that some of his things were missing but maybe he would come back for the rest? Maybe he was there now or maybe Blade, his roommate, had an idea.

Making her way inside Mitsu walked the path to the room she had visited before. Hesitantly she brought up a hand before knocking softly. She was hopeful that there would be something anything to help her find her friend, but hopes were often easy to dash.

Mitsu did her best to hide the disappointment she felt when the door opened and it wasn't Shun on the other side. It was nothing against Blade, she just should have known not to except to much.

"Um, h...hey." Mitsu stood there for a second trying to mull over what to say. "I guess, you haven't seen Shun have you? Or...heard from him?" Mitsu herself looked tired, dark circles under her eyes. She was healing fairly well from the encounter but if it had been up to the staff at the hospital she still would have been there. "I haven't seen him and I'm kind of worried."

"Oh..I see," Mitsu looked a little deflated by Blade's answer like the last of her hope had been squashed. It wouldn't really do her much good to look around, surely Bent would have found something since he was here.

When Blade offered to let her in Mitsu's sad downcast eyes looked up toward him. "S..sure." Stepping inside she let the door close behind her. She felt a little awkward, she didn't know Blade all that well but he seemed to be rather close to Riyo. "I..I'm healing okay." She answered.

Looking around the room Mitsu could only see trace evidence that Shun was gone, though he never really had a lot of things out in the open anyway. Touching the phone in her pocket she thought about calling the assassin's number again, though he had yet to pick up. It always went straight to voicemail. With a small sigh she decided she would try it later.

"It's like he just vanished." She said softly. Just like her brother he was gone without a trace. And with that thought came another worry of the approaching summer. What was she going to do? Though Blade had stayed on campus for the holidays....

"H..hey Blade. You were on campus during Christmas right? W..who do you stay with over summer?" She had heard a few things from Riyo and she knew Blade, like her, didn't have parents. How did he get by? Though it wouldn't really help if he stayed with other relatives...she didn't have any.

"Oh," Was Mitsu's reply again her fingers fidgeting with the bottom of her shirt. "I...I was just asking because..." She hesitated for a moment before she answered. It was still hard to admit her brother was gone and out of the picture. "This is the first summer..I'll really be alone. I have a house and its paid for but I still have to manage the bills and I'm not sure what I'm doing because my brother always took care of that. At the moment Mr. Hakim is making sure that stuff is taken care of with bank but this summer I'll have to do that on my own if I want to keep the house. But if I don't keep the house....I'm not sure where to go. I don't want to intrude on someone else."

It seemed that once she started the mass of her worry just came pouring out. "S..sorry. I didn't mean to just....burden you with that." It did feel nice to share her worry though. She wanted to tell Desmond but she didn't want him to either A. Make the payments or B. Have her stay with him. She was sure his parents wouldn't mind but she was afraid of intruding all summer long and Riyo was just now getting accustomed to having new family. And it was hard to let go in a way, she really wanted to keep the house, its where she had grown up but she wasn't sure how plausible it would be.

He would help with that? "No no you don't have to do ...that." It was like an idea struck her. Sure she didn't know Blade all that well but he seemed really nice, especially if he was offering to help her keep up on her bills. "D..do you want to stay with me over the summer? You would have your own room. If you don't already have something in mind." Mitsu offered. "It's at the edge of town so our....my backyard opens up into the woods but its close enough to still walk to the store and other places."

"I would prefer to have company...than be by myself." She admitted. "And you and Riyo seem to get along maybe...it will give us a chance to get to know each other?"

Though she hoped by asking him to stay he wouldn't get tangled up in her mess. She wasn't sure if it was something she should share with others yet or not. When she had first gotten back to the dorm she thought about telling Riyo but when she had walked through the door her urge to do so faded.

"Just keep in mind it's nothing fancy. It was just my brother and me so he sold our old house and got something smaller."

There was a ghost of a smile on Mitsu's lips for a short second but it quickly faded. She was still worried about other things, the whereabouts of Shun for instance, but at least that was one less thing on the list. "That sounds great. I'll get a spare key made for you so you can get in when you want."

Looking over toward Shun's bed again Mitsu sighed lightly. She had managed to fix a problem but she still had no better of an idea where the assassin might be. Maybe if she tried walking around town again? There were still places she hadn't searched.

Mitsu nodded her eyes suddenly getting watery. She was worried and as usual she really couldn't do much about it. Bringing up a hand to wipe at her eyes to keep from crying she diverted her attention to the ground. "I am. I'm afraid...of what might have happened. We...were just attacked what if..." No, she wouldn't let herself think that way. Shun had to be around it was just a matter of finding him.

"I'll just have to keep looking for him. Let me know, if he shows up here?" She asked, those large crimson eyes finally looking up into Blade's darker red ones. It would be another night of searching but maybe she would come up with something.
