finished okamiden on saturday right before we went to gamestop to trade in some of the fiance's games and to get me another WoW playing card, instead came home with both versions of pokemon. so i finally have a chance to get over my WoW addiction while playing pokemon. i have black and the fiance has white.
i had heard that team plasma was alot like peta because of their ideals. they are very much hypocrites in the game which makes them even more peta-like and i love it. the fiance and i have been joking about it. also this seems like it actually has a good story so far.

I'm on the 7th gym in White and I do love Team Plasma for being so ridiculous with their goals, the gen has definitely become a personal favorite for me because I'm loving everything (well except for Cheren and Bianca stalking me) and having to explore the new region is awesome.

I have both versions. I have beaten the Black version, and working my way through the white version. I've also been working on my pokedex on my black version. biggrin It is awesome! I am loving everything about it! biggrin I do agree that Team Plasma is like Peta. I thought of Peta when they made their speech when I initially encountered them in Black Version, and still think of Peta when I think of them, lol. Too bad we can't go and get Peta to break up like we do with Team Plasma. lol. XD

D= My husband got me the wrong version and haven't opened it to play it yet. One of my friend's beat the game already and gotten bored of his. He also bought a DS3D.

i want a 3ds too. i got the first ds right before the ds light came out, just a couple months before. i still love my clunky ds with a lazy pixel because i can play old advanced games on it, but ive been wanting to get a new ds for a couple years now and this seems like the perfect opertunity once the fiance decides to let me get one with his money. he wants one first then i have to wais until the next paycheck xp
plus they are redoing zelda OoT for it and since thats my favorite game ever i need to have it whee
im working on my 4th badge on pokemon. freaking electric pokemon, i hate fighting agasint them because i never have a good ground pokemon with me.

My brother Ryan has a red DS, and I have DS Lite. Well, I've had three. First one was pink and wouldn't work one day, second, blue, I lost, and now I have my new blue one. :3
Ryan and Ian are ahead of me in their Pokemon Black games. I have Pokemon white, and literally just started it today, even though Ryan's black and my white arrived on the same day. I was delayed by the same-day arrival of my Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood ^_^
PETA; that's exactly what I was thinking when I heard Plasma's speech. Mostly because I saw this thread and decided to play White. XD
But the starting pokemon...THEY'RE SO UGLY D:
I miss Piplup, Tertwig(can't spell it, and just remembered it's name) and...Chimpsy? XD They're from Pearl and Diamond.
They were soooooooo cute, but grew up to be kind of ugly. I named my Chimp thing Vegeta ;D ~~

I cant get a 3DS. I have seizers so its not advise for me to get one. =/ I have a DS Lite but I really want a DSXL since I have really bad vision and usually play with my glasses off. My Hubby asked why I want to give it up since mine play GBA games but he forgot that I have a GBASP to play them on XD LOL.

The fire pokemon yall are thinking of is chimchar.
Strange I immediately thought of Peta when I encountered team plasma. Pshh, pokemon liberation. yeah right. rolleyes
And Its totally like peta to brain wash a kid into thinking hes a hero and he's going to liberate all pokemon. :/
Btw, anyone know where the seven sages are? I found one in the sandy ruinish place.

the final evolution of the Oshawott (the water one, which I started with in black version) looks cool! biggrin I've been battling with Reshiram ever since I got him and have been training everything else via exp. share. The final version of the grass one looks cool too! I started with that one on the white version, but haven't gotten it evolved yet. I have only seen its evolved form. The fire one's evolved forms look weird. I think one of the ugliest pokemon I have ever seen is Gurrdurr.
Having beaten black version twice (once through defeating Team Plasma, the other time through defeating the elite four after defeating Team Plasma), the ending credits to this one are the least entertaining to watch. I liked the previous versions where they had something going on during the ending credits. This one is kind of blah. Not much to watch... Pretty much the only thing I don't like about it, otherwise, I love it (besides some of the pokemon being severely ugly).
I have 3 ds lites (the first two's L and R buttons don't work (I'll be sending them in for repair, and then selling them to my aunt for her kids, and then a Pokemon Edition one that is a dark grey with Palkia and Dialga on it, which is very lightly played), and a DSi, and the L and R buttons on it don't work either... I'll be sending the DSI in for repair. I plan on possibly getting the DSI XL at some point, probably after selling the DS lites and getting the DSI repaired, trading in the DSI for the XL, then getting the 3DS, keeping the DSI XL for other game play. I still have 2 GBA SPs I use for the GBA and GBC games that I occasionally play (one is one of the old ones, and the other is the one with the brighter backlight). I also have my Game Boy Color (the first portable game system I got). There was no pokemon generation I skipped. I still have my yellow version, which I used a Game Shark to teach my Pikachu surf and the mini game that gets unlocked from having a Pikachu with surf is fun!!!!!!!!!! biggrin I have silver and crystal (though the battery to the crystal version is dead, so it won't save games any more...). I have fire red, sapphire and emerald. I have pearl, platinum and soul silver. I also got the Japanese version of Heart Gold. biggrin
I think I only have one badge on my white version so far... ^^' I've been playing my Black Version the most, going after the legendary pokemon, and working on my pokedex in it. XD I'll probably work on the white version again soon, though. XD

Sounds interesting but I really only like the original 3 games. I tried playing gold a few years back and I was just like ehhhh. I do have red version on my pc though. And I have a pink ds lite, still with my original stylus and everything (the other one is still in the packaging!). My brother lost his ds forever ago, and even though I lose everything, I've still got mine. So wooo.

XD ~~ My brother said the uggliest pokemon he ever saw, and I agree, is this flying fluffy bat pig thing which I don't know the name of. o_o And at least it'll become cooler...hopefully. Maybe it's just the fact that Oshawott looks nothing like any animal, insect, ect. Most pokemon do. (Well, minus most legendaries, but they can be ugly or cool. AND MOST RESEMBLE A SNAKE OR DRAGON OF SOME SORT!)
And there are some funky pokemon(almost spelled funky as ********; i'm really tired XD) out there. ~~
