Personality: (Personality is currently very much a WIP) Blue is an eccentric individual, equal parts playful, silly and curious. Filled with an ferocious sense of wanderlust, Blue is constantly out and about in the tunnels of Hallowmarl, and can be something of a nuisance to neighbors who don't approve of the little iguana poking around to see 'what's up'. Her intentions aren't malicious, but she's gotten in trouble numerous times and has received more than a few scoldings from her parents over sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. It doesn't help at all that she's a little socially awkward, but at least she's sweet about it.
Despite the harshness of the landscape she lives in, Blue still retains a child's sense of wonder and a desperate desire for play, whether with other children or by herself. Her favorite playmate is her brother and clutch mate, when she can coerce him into playing with her anyways (he's much more serious than she is).
Seeing her sisters death at a young age left Blue with a need to avoid sadness and despair, and is part of the reason she tries so hard to have fun and enjoy the nice things in life, in an effort to avoid the pain she associates with the memories of Red's death. When confronted with tragedy Blue reacts by becoming quiet and typically trying to slink off to avoid the situation entirely. Because of this Blue isn't someone people go to if they want a shoulder to cry on, it's not that she doesn't want to help, but hearing about sadness or the pains of others reminds her too much of her own and makes her very uncomfortable.
As part of a desire to protect the things she care about and avoid losing any more of the people she loves, Blue has developed a blinding loyalty to those she cares about to the point of ridiculous; the refusal to acknowledge their flaws, and the inability to believe they'd ever make a mistake. Blue places absolute trust in her family and friends, and showers them with all the love, adoration and trust. It'll spell bad news for her if she ever comes to trust someone who has less than her best interests at heart, as her faith in friends makes her easy to manipulate.
Virtues
Curious:~ Blue likes to learn, and this is fueled by a desire to know things. She can ask a lot of questions "Why is the sky blue? Why is it hard to stare at the sun? Why are leaves green but bark brown?" And loves to read whatever books she can get her hands on.
Bold:~ Blue isn't afraid to try new things or approach strangers. Courageous in the face of danger, potential risks aren't factored into her actions, and she can be counted on to keep her head even in dire situations.
Fun Loving~ Blue love love loves to have fun. Rather than aspiring to greatness or wealth, Blue's goal in life is simply to have as much fun as possible, and enjoy all the treasures and experiences the world has to offer. Blue wants to be a playmate and friend to anyone who'll have her, and despite her sometimes social awkwardness, she really means well.
Loyal~ When Blue likes you, she really likes you. She gives her complete trust, friendship, and skills to provide whatever she can for those she cares about. She'll always be there to lend a hand and make sure none of her friends ever have to feel abandoned or alone.
Flaws
Nosy:~ Blue's curiosity can lead her to stick her nose where she shouldn't, and get her into trouble. This applies gossip wise as well, where she just has to know that little tidbit, not out of malice but just out of desire to add more things to her repertoire of knowledge.
Brash:~ The downside of her boldness, Blue can sometimes be too forward in her actions, not realizing she might be intrusive or offensive. It also means she doesn't always take danger as seriously as she should, and could put herself into a potentially very harmful situation without realizing it.
Flighty:~
Overly Trusting~ The idea that her friends would betray her is far from Blue's mind. Because she's so trusting and adoring herself it's hard for her to understand that someone else might not have her best interests at heart, and could potentially do her ill.
Talents and Hobbies
Exploring~ As a curious lizard, Blue loves nothing more than exploring and searching for the next great adventure.
Reading~ Blue really likes to read, because she likes to learn. Silliness aside she's quite literate, and has a strange eye for grammar.
