 jak was lapping up the water from a deep lake, one that he came to every morning after waking up. He closed his eyes, then dunked his head slightly inside the water and submerged his head. After a couple of seconds he pulled his head out of the water and shook out his hair. "Mm..." He smiled slightly to himself, more awake now. And it was then that he saw her, standing on the other side of the lake.
'Beautiful..." Every morning she would come down to the lake, and every morning he would come down here just to catch a glimpse of that beautiful vixen.

 Elizabeth smiled as she walked down the same path every morning. She had been going down to the same lake now for years. In her opinion it was the best place to get fresh water and breakfast if she wanted. Lately though she had noticed another fox at the other end of the lake. She figured he must live near by. She smiled as she hummed trotting up to the lake. She smiled at her reflection in the water and wagged her tail making her bells jingle.

Today was the day. Today he was actually going to walk to the other side of the lake and introduce himself to the vixen, yes that is what he was going to do. Only when he tried to move he discovered that his legs didn't work. "Tech...damn this is embarrassing..." He grumbled and looked away, then turned his attention back tot he beautiful vixen, who at the moment looked like she was playing with her bells. No, he couldn't be seeing that right? "Come on Jak...grow some balls and just go over there and talk to her before she leaves!"

She smiled as she watched a leaf float by in the water cutting through her image. She always liked being near water. She never knew why... but she did. She leaned in finally and started to drink from the cool water. She closed her eyes as she took her drinks.

"Mm..." jak finally got up the courage to go over there and talk to the beautiful maiden. It was quite a trip around, considering that he didn't want to have to swim across. He knew how to swim, but it was a rather cold morning and he didn't fancy freezing to death before he reached her. Finally though, after taking about fifteen minutes he made his way around the lake and stood in front of her. "Ahem.....Hello there." he smiled.

Once lizzie was finished drinking from the lake she sat sown and began to clean herself. She wasn't quite sure of what she wanted to do today. Perhaps she would just stay here for the day. Once the sun came up she would be able to bathe in the sun. That was one of her favorite things to do. She loved to feel the rays of the sun on her coat.
"Hm?" She was about to go do some walking when she heard a voice. She looked up and spotted a rather interesting male. "Oh... Hello..." She blushed a little considering he was quite a looker.

"Hello." Jak smiled at her like an idiot. He didn't know what else to do. She was so damn beautiful, and he had been working up the courage to talk to her for over a month now. And now....now that he had finally gotten up the courage to talk to her he had nothing to say! Ah! "I just.....I've been watching you....Uh, not like a stalker or anything....But I've been coming down he for a couple of weeks and....i just noticed you is all....and your....so beautiful."

She blushed as she stood there silently. She wasn't sure of what to say. This random male just suddenly showed up and started to talk to her. She blinked after they had stood there for a wile and none of them said anything. He just said hi and hadn't said anything sense. She was about to say something when he suddenly started talking again.
"Mm... You've been watching me?" She raised an eyebrow. "Oh..." She blushed as she looked at him. "E... Excuse me?" did he just call her beautiful?

"Yes....I mean....Well I noticed you is all..." Jak blushed as he looked at her, "This isn't coming out very well at all..." He sighed and sat down as he looked at her with a comical look. "Can we start again?" He smiled at her, "Hi, My name is jak. I noticed that you came down here every morning and i just wanted to come over here and introduce myself to you." He slid his paw over to her to shake, well in the only way that a fox could shake at least.

Lizzie had to admit... this was the first time she had ever met someone like him. Someone... so nervous that they couldn't talk. It was kinda funny to her. The way he stumbled around his words... It was cute. She couldn't help but giggle and she did.
"No..." She shook her head. "No its... not really coming out vary well..." She chuckled as she smiled. She then nodded when he asked if he could start over. "Oh... Jak... what an interesting name." She blushed a little. "My name is Elizabeth... but some times other call me Lizzie... or Lizz..." She did the same motion with her paw. "Its nice to meet you too."

"Lizzie huh....I think that the name suits you." He smiled at her, "Well the pleasure is all mine Lizzie." Jak kissed her paw, then made a sweeping bow at her. "I was hoping that I might be able to tempt you into taking a walk around the forest with me." He smirked at her hopeful, "It will be perfectly safe I promise you that." He chuckled, "I am capable of protecting you from bears and the like."

"Oh... Thank you..." She blushed. "But... there are many other foxes out there with the same name Im sure..." She watched as he kissed her paw. He seemed like a nice guy. She rarely met someone like him. "A walk?" She looked toward the forest then back at him. "Mm... well... I guess it will be ok..." She smiled back at him. "If you're so capable." She chuckled as she teased him standing. "Though I doubt bears will come popping out of the bushes..."

"Oh my dear....you would be surprised what pops out of the bushes." He chuckled as he smiled at her. "I have seen more strange things then bears flying out of bushes believe you me...." He nodded his head, then looked at her and blushed slightly at the fact that he was babbling like an idiot. "So....Why do you come down to the river every morning?" Jak figured that it would be a good time to change the subject before he said something incredibly stupid and scared her off.

She couldn't help but laugh along with him at what he had said. "Oh really?" She tilted her head to the side as her ears went back a little. "What kind to strange things?" She was rather curious at what he could have seen. "Why do I com down here?" She blinked a little surprised. "Oh... well I really like the water here..."

"Oh....." He looked at her, was that it? Blinking he looked around, "Is that the only reason you come down here?" He smiled at her. He wanted to learn more about her. He knew that she was the most beautiful vixen he had ever laid eyes on, but there had to be more to it then that. "Do you have any brothers or sisters? Do you still live with your parents? Are you part of a tribe at all?" He started to ask questions hoping to learn more about her.
