A thread for questions about BOS's. As some members hae probably already figured out, I like making general topics, because most threads here end up hat way anyway. My question is: For the first page that will have my book blessing, I found the Chinese symbol for "Begin" that I want to use as a title. However, I also found a rune with the same general meaning., which should I use?

{symbol} Begin {other symbol}
or
{symbol} Begin {other symbol}
That's how I'd do it.

 you dont always have to title it right away if you wait, in time the book should tell you its name in some way. because if you name it,and the book doesnt agree with the name, then you thing wont go right if that makes any sense at all

MrsBHavin you dont always have to title it right away if you wait, in time the book should tell you its name in some way. because if you name it,and the book doesnt agree with the name, then you thing wont go right if that makes any sense at all But I had it all planeed out already, I knew for sure I wanted to have a beginning symbol when I picked out the Chines one. But then I looked into the runes and couldn't decide. Besides, it's not the title of the book, it's just the first page. The thing is that I'm never gonna put an ending symbol, to show that it ill always be continued.

I can't really think of anything else then picking one from a hat, and what a great idea that is lol. Sometimes we think we want two things but really one means a little bit more and if you try to leave the one that you really care more about you'll feel worse then if you left the one that means less to you. If that makes any sense you could try to feel which one you really couldn't live without. If worst comes to worse, go with your first choice.

I think just about everything's been said, but yeah, in agreement with everyone else, you should meditate on it, see which feels right. If I couldn't pick one, or nothing came to me, I would probably try and do a combination of the two, like overlapping them in interesting ways, or putting them both on the book/page.
