Kouji is a very fun loving optimistic person. Rarely displaying himself in an overly serious manner though does when the time calls for it. Kouji is highly intelligent in all regards though never shows this in his outwardly acting, even going as far as to appear slightly absent minded and silly. Kouji was not part of any nobility in Seireitei so his personality stems from when he was alive, being a man with very little stress or concern in general day to day affairs. Kouji however has a very serious side to him and when he becomes such he can often scare people, making them flee from his presence.
Bio:
Kouji was born in Japan though never lived in any specific place with his parents. He settled down with a wife, having two children. He was killed tragically by persons unknown. He spent several years avoiding hollows and watching over his family from a distance, after having been given a konsō, he departed to Soul Society, some years later his wife passed away and he is now unaware of where his children are. He was a genius with medicinal herbs and other medicines having been a doctor in the human world. He created an image for himself very quickly and impressed the yonbantai division, soon after being accepted as the yonseki. As he matured in his practices, he became more and more talented with the art of healing, by doing so, he rose to Lt status and soon after obtained the rank of taichō.

Several vials kept under the skin in various locations that contain amazing medicinal formulas that can easily treat minor cuts/scrapes/burns/pain. It is also able to treat a number of other non-life threatening situations. Once the skin is torn, Kouji always uses the last few drops from the vial to mend his own skin. These are usually used for emergency purposes, it does not hurt Kouji when he removes them.

Release Command: ('Iyasu いやす') 'Cure'
Physical Changes: Upon its release, the blade Kenkoutai oozes out a strange liquid, which the supply does not stop. Whatever the liquid drips onto it can cure, however, the severity of wounds differs the powers, making it less potent or more potent. When dripped onto things like plants, it can mend them and help them to grow.
Shikai Special Ability: The Shikai powers of Kenkoutai are revolved around health being given to a target VIA the sword only, differing greatly from the power in its Bankai.
Shikai Abilities
かんせんよぼう Kansenyobou (Infection Prevention)
The edge of Kenkoutai is dipped slightly into the wound of the target. It instantly cleans and disinfects any and all traces of foreign substances in the wound and throughout the body that were caused by this particular wound. It also numbs pain and reduces likeliness of fever.
ひろう Hirou (Fatigue)
Dripping Kenoutai into the targets mouth, fatigue is instantly removed from the target allowing the body to better handle its own natural recovery process. In addition, it allows the body to enter into a very deep sleep, allowing for maximum rest time, also aiding in the natural speedy recovery of the body.
かいしゅう Kaishuu (Recovery)
Stabbing Kenoutai gently into the targets body, the liquid immediately multiples throughout the body. It creates artificial healing to damaged organs and also creates special liquefied barriers around fatal cuts and wounds in order to cease blood flow and direct it as normal. It also helps in the healing of failing body parts or major wounds though it is unable to do so fully.
セルアニメーション Seruanimeeshon (Cell Animation)
Dripping Kenoutai over a serious wound or injury (limited to external) the liquid is able to reanimate lost tissue in order to close wounds. This ability is limited to minor or superficial wounds anywhere on the body, it cannot be used on serious injuries such as piercings through the body, loss of limbs or organs.
おうえん Ouen (Aid)
Kenoutai begins to wiggle and squirm around before exploding into a large amount of bile onto the target. This bile, however, contains amazing remedies and different elixirs. This bile heals burns, instantly
cauterizes wounds to mitigate damage. It can also heal frost bite, or any other such injuries.
かいちく Kaichiku (Reconstruction)
The liquid flowing from Kougi's blade turns red. No matter how it is applied to the target (external or internal application) It targets the bones of the patient, healing broken/fractured bones and re-enforcing them for a certain amount of time as they heal completely. This ability is able to target as many bones in the subjects body as the amount that are broken. It is not able however to re-grow bone, such as from missing limbs. This ability also completely numbs the pain of bone damage and cures fever caused by serious injury.
きょう Kyou (Save)
Kenoutai's liquid transforms into a green mist and is released onto a target that is nearing death faster and faster, this light completely stops the targets damaged body functions and replaces them with temporary parts and fluids given to them by Kenoutai. As the body is using these artificial temporaries, the targets true inner organs/tissues are at that moment being healed extremely slowly. This gives Kougi enough time to get the target to the proper location for proper medical treatment.

Physical Changes:
On release, Kougi is surrounded by a strong green spiritual pressure, which consumes himself. He turns into a solid wall of green which anyone outside cannot see into. The wall begins to crack and soon it shatters, revealing Kougi. Kougi now bares black eyes, completely consumed, his mouth has grown wide and his teeth, now multiplied to double the original amount, are tiny and jagged sharp. His hands are longer and skinny, his fingers especially, his nails long and pitch black. His overall height and weight have drastically changed. He is much thinner and at least three feet taller. A large purple object in the shape of an 'X' glows brightly behind him, hovering behind Kougi, no matter the speed in which he travels it never leaves his side.
Bankai Special Ability: Kouji's Bankai, though with a twisted sense, has to do with healing, though it mainly consists of the injuring and slow and agonizing death of targets, be it allies or enemies.
Bankai Abilities:
きょう Akushou (Virulent Disease)
The 'X' upon Kouji's back dissipates into a large swarm of nearly microscopic parasites, though in appearance, it looks like a heavy fog. They multiply themselves several times over within milliseconds in order to reach the target at a timely rate, as the parasites die off after only a short period of time. This attack is extremely difficult to block though even more difficult to block when being attacked, as the parasites can multiple themselves to their original amount even if only a few are left. They also have a defensive mechanism that allows a few to separate and multiply if being attacked by a force that would normally kill them all immediately. Upon attaching themselves to flesh, they will no longer perish in their normal lifespan given, instead, they burrow into the flesh and turn into a liquid state that flows into the targets blood stream. Once situated in the targets body, the person will experience pain and suffering to the highest extent. If treatment is not administered to some degree then the target will inevitably die, the only true way for this to be taken away is for Kougi to seal his Bankai. Once this affect has taken place, it does not impede him from using his other Bankai abilities. If the attack is successful, the 'X' reappears upon his back. Once attacked more than six times and after having to regenerate their entire population, the parasites themselves will retreat back into the 'X' or Kouji will simply call them back.
ついとうやいば Tsuitou Yaiba (Mournful Blade)
The 'X' On Kougi's back breaks apart and turns into two extremely large shimmering purple/black blades that hover just above either of his arms, they extend at least five feet past his fingertips. These blades can block, cut and be used as normal weapons, however, Kouji has far more control over them than a normal sword. With each cut that is made on an opponent, that wound festers with infections and diseases that are released on contact. Also, the special reiatsu released by his sword makes the wounds extremely hard to heal and usually they aren't able to be cured in enough time to prevent the infections and diseases from spreading throughout the body. Usually attacking the brain once this happens. The target has little under fifteen minuets before their body becomes a full host to the numerous ailments of this attack, though the feel the affects all over their body nearly instantly. Furthermore, Kouji can use this ability to transfer reiatsu from the target in a special way in which to heal wounds of his own, draining that person of a considerable amount. These two ways of attacking are why this attack is known as the 'Mournful Blade' creating sorrow and despair in the person as they mourn for their lives.
デカルコマニー Dekarukomanii (Transfer)
Kouji opens his mouth extremely wide, so wide in fact that his face cracks and his mouth line rips open along his cheeks. A very vile and despairing air surrounds the area, he then begins to breathe in heavily, creating a powerful gust. He can target up to five people at once. The air that surrounds them gets absorbed into their skin, absorbing a small portion of their energy and ageing slowly tissues and organs. He transfers what he has absorbed into himself and can easily repair wounds on his body. Major injuries can be fully healed on Kouji alone. Though he is able to use this ability to others as well, however the affects are extremely limited. When using the ability on another can give them back energy, heal slight wounds, stop bleeding and other small less complicated injuries, however, it cannot completely cure them. As for the targets of the initial attack, they are left to dwell in pain and a near complete loss of energy for nearly an hour, as this attack is temporary but leaves the person in a completely vulnerable state. This effect can be avoided by simply distancing ones self from Kouji. He is able to reuse this attack over and over again if he does not capture targets, however, once he has captured at least five targets, he cannot reuse this attacks full power for several moments, with him being able to use it over and over again with extremely weakened results.

Powers and Abilities Enhanced Intelligence
Being the fourth squad Captain, Kouji is highly intelligent, with having the most knowledge of Healing compared to anyone within the Gotei Thirteen other than the Sōtaichō. Unbeaten in the proficiency of medical treatment and aid. He is also highly intelligent in combat and special combat, as some may think him weak.
Highly Developed Swordsmanship
Being of Captain rank, Kouji excels in sword mastery and can easily keep on par with his fellow Captains and others of equal standings.
Enhanced Endurance
Due to him being the lead medical officer of all the Gotei Thirteen, Kouji has proven to be one of immense endurance during tiring situations such as operations or even fighting. He is the picture of health and well being, taking of care his body and daily nourishing himself.
Skilled Combatant
Being of Captain rank, Kouji is able to keep up with those who use 'Hand-to-Hand- combat, however, this is one of Kouji's weak points and he is not considered highly skilled in these particular techniques.
Medical Genius
Kouji is more studied in the art of medicines and the art of preparing natural remedies in mere moments than anyone within the current Gotei Thirteen. Non are able to match his skills with knowledge in regard to both identifying what kind ailment one has, what types of affects will be caused or being able to remedy and prepare the correct medicine and know what dosage an individual would need.
Kidō Expert
Kouji has completely mastered Kidō and is one of the most lethal users of the technique that is currently in the Gotei Thirteen. He is also the single most skilled user of Chiyudō.
Speed Expert
As a Captain, Kouji is highly proficient in the use of speed techniques, however, he is not by any means at a great advantage over his fellow Captains.
Immense Spiritual Power
Being of Captain rank, Kouji has great spiritual strength and is able to use this alone to weaken enemies or beat them. Though not having shown it yet, he is titled to have tremendous spiritual power. Unique Abilities ろくスタースト Roku Sutā Suto (Six Star Strike)
By placing a very high amount of spiritual pressure around his finger tips, he strikes a target quickly in six different places, hitting vital arteries and organs, not destroying them, but damaging them in such a way that it immobilizes the enemy and places them in a large amount of pain.
ケーオー Kouē (Knock Out)
By using a combination of both Shunpo and his own spiritual pressure, Kouji strikes five of the human pressure points. This places them in both a unconscious state and and inevitably in an immense amount of pain upon recovering.

I have not scrutinized this yet but I think, before I do, it would be in your best interest to check the Chiyudo list to make sure his abilities don't overlap Chiyudo. It would, in a sense, save parts of his Zan from becoming useless.
Do that, and instead of trying to change it, take out anything deemed irrelevant by Chiyudo, and then I'll look.
