He hadn't moved of his own free will for 36 days, two hours and 11 minutes. Awfully specific for someone who had been leaning against the same wall for a month now, but then there was a clock across from him and not much else to do but watch it. 36 days, two hours, 12 minutes. His wall-leaning had began when everyone else's hall-walking had stopped. That is to say, when the Home became so horribly leaderless it had to be shut down and all the patients who could be moved were transferred to better places. Vis was told he couldn't be moved, and so from that moment on he didn't. 36 days, two hours, 13 minutes. The red-head's eyes lazily flickered away from the clock and into the hallway, expecting to find it empty as always. And it almost was, save for the people standing at the very end of it. Huh. His eyes went back to the clock, still 36 days, two hours, 13 minutes, and to the hallway again. There were definitely multiple people standing at the end of it. They didn't seem translucent or brightly coloured, which meant that either they were real or his hallucinations had gotten more natural. Both would be a great improvement for Vis. Checking the clock again, 36 days, two hours, 14 minutes, he started to wonder who they were. One of them looked somewhat familiar..

She remembered it here. Her memory wasn't very good these days, but she had found that familiar places helped. Here...she had had friends here, hadn't she? Everything was so quiet now...surely it hadn't always been like this? Had those people disappeared when Ati had? Had they ever been there at all?
Her boots squeaked against the floor, and Autumn smiled, jolted out of her thoughts. For the next couple of steps, she shuffled to try and repeat the sound. This failing, she found herself dashing down the hallway and trying to slide--only to stumble and almost fall when her shoes stubbornly gripped the floor. So much for that.

As they came closer he could see who they were. Aut. Er.. that is to say, Auts? Auti? Aua? For he was surely seeing two of them shuffling towards him right now, like similar booted twins with a walking problem. Vis grunted and shifted his head a little, causing one of the Aut.. s.. to land halfway in the other's head and several double doorways to end up on a new wall, remarkably similar to the old, floating somewhere near the ceiling. One of the ceilings, that is. There seemed to be two of those as well. For a moment the red-head thought he might be seeing double due to the awkward angle at which he was looking, but when he turned around to see the clock there was only one of it. 36 days, two hours, 15 minutes. No doubt about it, then. He was seeing two Aut.. i...
Not willing to take any chances to offend the first real non-nurse people he'd see a while, he moved to lean on his forehead and raised both hands at the two girls when they had come close enough to talk to. He was about to greet them when they stumbled and ended up further in each other. Vis found it an oddly impolite position, but carried on regardless: "Ah, uh, hello! Do you two remember me?"
