Victoria stood amoung her flourishing flowers with a large grin. The garden she had chosen during the winter when she had first arrived in this new land was at the time dead and unvaluable. However, she had seen something within the dead plants that many others had failed to. Victoria new that one day these flowers would be in full bloom and the envy of all that came across her garden. This was also where Jacqueline had first appeared as a basket. The basket had been left for Taja to raise, however, Taja had never had any experiance with foals and did not feel ike she could properly raise whatever popped out. Victoria in fact had never had any experiance with foals either, but she felt that she could raise the child. Although, she had her own motives for deciding to take care of the basket. Victoria wanted to mold the child into the perfect princess or prince who would one day take over the kingdom she was creating.

Once the basket had popped and a beautiful filly appeared before her eyes she knew the young child would one day be the very thing she had been looking for. However, as the saying goes "never count your eggs before they hatch" Jacqueline hadn't turned out exactly how she had hoped. Spring came and the young filly grew into a beautiful adult. However, her goals were to leave Victoria behind and move onto getting over her anxiety. Jacqueline had actually not decided that, but Victoria knew that it would become a goal of hers as she traveled and maybe she would never return to the home in which she had been raised. Victoria sighed and closed her eyes as she lifted her head to the bright sun that stood proudly in the middle of the sky. It had felt like forever since her grandfather had died and left her this valley. She had met her grandfather many times as a young filly but she had never been to his home in the Kawani lands. But when he died he had left everything to her. Not her mother. Not her father. Her. Not once had she ever shone promise to be a Queen, so why had he chosen her?

Victoria often dwelled on this question and she realized that her grandfather had seen something in her that she couldn't see. However, it was something she could see within the flowers that were directly in front of her. After several moments she opened her eyes and looked back down at the flowers. "I need to get this kingdom back into order. Back to the way it probably was when he was alive." She spoke honestly to herself. "But where to find the right people?" Victoria asked herself. She wasn't sure how to go about it, but she hoped the answer would come to her sometime soon.

Training was going well. Ironforge had so far seemed impressed with how quickly Kaleidoscope picked things up, both the physical and mental portions, and was certainly not against talking about his student to the others. This made Kale glad that he had been so insistent with the grey stallion to take him on as his student. And now he had proven himself a worthy find. The training was far from over however, but Kale did find that there was some free time in order to wander further away and see things. He of course was always on the look out for those that may need his assistance. Training was one thing, but a real life situation usually had twist and turns in it that made it less scripted than training and gave a greater sense of accomplishment.

Today he had wandered a great deal further than he normally would have. Ironforge had informed him that he would be unavailable for training for several days as the herd needed his presence, so that left Kale to wander. He had met a few others along the way, had some friendly conversations and even imparted some wisdom upon a young colt who was fascinated by the knight in training. It was good to see young face interested in taking up the life of a knight so any questions that they asked he was ready to answer. Perhaps one day he too would take on a student to train in the ways much like how Ironforge had taken him on. That would step in the right direction and allow him to spread the knowledge that had been passed to him.

Before him lay a valley, a place he had not yet been to, and he was curious to see what this land held as well as meet any Soquili who inhabited the area. Trotting forward he hummed a merry tune, something that his old mentor had hummed on many occasions when they were traveling and kept his eyes and ears open for anyone to speak with, or danger that he may be walking into.

As Victoria hoped someone would appear to help her answer her final question, she heard a humming sound coming from not to far off. She turned around and noticed a large stallion coming her way. My, isn't he large and colorful. Victoria thought to herself in slight shock. Was it possible for someone to be so large? Then it hit her like a ton of rocks. He could be the one, the one that had heard her prayer for help! "Why hello there young sir." Victoria said with a kind smile. As she continued to look the stallion over she noticed that his hair length was almost as grand as his stature and that it was also very similar to her hair. "My, my, my. I must say that your hair is rather wonderful." She said with a wink of humor, hoping that he would understand the slight pun-joke interlaced within her words.

Victoria looked at his strong build and began to smile once more. His green and yellowish coloring on his legs and hoofs reminded her so much of Jacqueline and she was once again reminded of her loneliness. Not just because her near daughter was gone, but because there were hardly any soquili in her herd lands. Maybe this stallion that stood before her eyes would change all that. If he was, she wondered what all he was capable of. "Do you live near by? Or are you simply venturing out and about the Kawani lands?" Victoria asked curiously as she stood proudly, hoping he would understand she was of nobility and hopefully he would also get curious enough to ask about her life.

Kale turned his attention to the pink mare as she came into view. He gave her a polite smile and dipped his head in greeting. "Good afternoon my lady." Letting out a slight chuckle as he complimented his hair. "I could say the same about yours. It has the most interesting look to it." The way the color changed as the hair went down and the white dots within the hair stood out amongst the darker hair. He gave his head a slight shake. "Ah where are my manners. I am Kaleidoscope, feel free to call me Kale. And what might your name be?"

At her question he gave a slight now. "In a way I live near here, at least temporarily. You see I am going through training not far from here so for the time being I stay there. My home is not overly far from where I am staying however. So in a way I am both living here and venturing about at the same time." He said with a chuckle, the notion of having a home in the area and yet not was a bit funny to the colorful stallion. "And you? You live in this area correct? Have you lived here for long?" He made the assumption that she did by the way held herself when asking the question. Perhaps she could give her a better lay of the land, and learn things that he may not have otherwise known about. His eyes turned to the area around them. "It sure is beautiful here." There was a good amount of admiration in his voice, not all areas looking as lovely as this nor had as welcoming of Soquili within them.

Victoria smiled as the stallion replied to her comment about his hair. "Why thank you." She responded in kind. "Oh my! It's not a problem my dear, I did not tell you my name either." Victoria said with a kind smile. "My name is Victoria and this is actually my kingdom. Or my herd lands if you prefer." She nodded, looking around at the land that surrounded her. "I have only lived here since winter of this past year, so not very long. However, my grandfather had lived here his entire life as well as all the generations before him." Victoria smiled and returned her gaze to Kale. "It is quite beautiful. However, I would say the most beautiful part of my kingdom would have to be my garden. It is just over whelmingly beautiful." She said wistfully.

"Oh dear, I am so rude!" She said shaking her head and making a slight tisk-tisk noise. "Would you like to come with me and see the rest of my kingdom?" Victoria asked curiously. "Maybe you could even stay a while if you wish, regain your strength for your training?" She asked, curious to learn more about the large stallion. How was he so large? Victoria still could not begin to fathom how someone could end up so large! He certainly would make a great guard, but she knew he would need convincing.

"Ah well it is a pleasure to meet you Victoria." Kale gave another dip of his head. So these were her herds lands, she was certainly lucky to live in such an area as this. While each land had it's own appeal, depending on the Soquili beholding it, there were not always perfect or as pleasant as the place they now stood within. Even his own home range was lacking compared to this, yes it was beautiful in it's own special way but it seemed dull now as he looked around them. "You are a gardener? I can't say I have ever had the knack for looking after plants."

Kale let out a chuckle. "I would love to see the rest of your lands. And who better than to guide me around than the ruler of the lands them self." He said with a wide smile. "I think I could stay for a short time at least, to rest up and renew my strength." He could not stay for too long or else Ironforge would think he was balking out of his training and giving up on the life of a knight and that was something that Kale would never do. He was fully devoted to his training and would not miss it unless the most dire situation kept him away.
