Beginning April 9, 2011, TRG Motorsports will be switching from Chevrolet to Ford, and getting cars and engines from Roush Fenway Racing. I think its a good move. Those Fords that Roush are building are definitely on rails lately. Thoughts?

This move is mainly due to the fact that RCR no longer uses TRG as a start up team. So I think its a good move. The real reason why the 27 team is doing so well is because the 71 team was the 27 team... Their pitcrew was trained and loaned by RCR so that if and when RCR expanded they would have a ready team. Same goes for some of their engines which were RCR test engines. Now that RCR has their 4th team they wont be loaning help to the 71 team cause they cant expand any further... The 71 team is making a smart move..they realize that they are no longer needed and will fall further down the supply chain as the season continues. Plus next to the ECR engines...the Fords are the best. Especially with that new nose and grill. I just think that they should merge with either Tommy Baldwin or the 09 team so as to gain a stronger team with more hands to work on.
