Aloli was ecstatic, well more so than normal. She was normally confined to the grounds around Calendonia as she was growing up and still a bit into her beginning adult hood because she was just so curios and wanted to see everything about the world. However she tended to be a bit clueless at her surroundings at times and often got in trouble like the time with the lizards and the mountain lions and the snow storm. Frey and Aeolos where always bailing her out. Seriously she could have handled all the situations by herself one would think they where over protective. Anyways the importance of the day was different. She had met a white and black kit when she was little herself although he lived very far away and after talking with her dad he had given her permission to explore the world and see if she could find him again. She had always had a slight crush but even more than that Rush had been her friend and didn’t mind she was pretty much her father’s daughter and often spoke in the third person. So after giving her fair well to her brothers and her older half sister and mother and the rest of her family she was off on her own adventure to find her sparkly one or something like that. Dad seriously gave weird names to everthing.

Rush was taking time from his family. He loved them, truly did, but he knew his mother needed time. His brothers had left as well to explore before returning to Lunarie, to Ari, and to their mother. Nuishan had left Rendo, and accepted she would probably never see her other sons again. However, she needed time. So, Rush was giving her that time.
Rush remembered fondly the days he spent as a kit. He was alone, so alone. His brothers were always off with one another, and his cousins played in a tight group. He was awkward, he was strange. And then Hermes and Aloli came to play with him, and then Tamaki. The four became close, even though Rush began to slip away and follow Aloli more. And then he couldn't see her anymore. His mother had been going through depression, and he stayed to help her through it.
He found himself wondering what she was doing nowadays. If she was happy, if she was with a mate. He smirked at the part. He wanted her to be happy. However the word mate scared him. He didn't want to be like his father, he didn't want to do what Rendo did. He was scared of ever being someones mate. Scared he'd hurt them.
Sometimes, he wondered what would have happened if he had stayed near Aloli.

Okay so aloli shouldn’t have decided to skip down the mountain in happiness it was not really the smartest option at the moment. She just had to trip over something and go rolling down the mountain. It was a good thing Aeolos had already left to find his sparkling maiden and wasn’t around and father was off being all completely in love with mother. It was rather touching in her opinion and she hoped she could find some one like that one day.
She wondered what Rush was up to. Where his brothers playing with him more, was he still in touch with Hermes and Tamaki. She vaguely remembered them, although they hadn’t quite left the same impact as Rush had. Well maybe she would find out after all she was on an adventure to see the world. Suddenly a purple butterfly landed on her nose and she quietly stared at it.

Rush heard the sound of rocks moving, head turning. His tail flicked, the scent of a fox nearby brushing across his nose. Who was there? It smelled like...grapes. Though, who would smell like that? It wasn't grape season, and he didn't even think they grew around here. It reminded him of....Aloli...
He picked up his pace, heading straight for the scent. His tail flicked, moving to see this sound, this scent. He padded over, eyes widening when he saw a fox with a purple butterfly on her nose, nearly running to her.
"Aloli?"

Aloli just watched the butterfly for a while looking at the patterns. It kind of looked like her. Suddenly as if it sensed something it flew off in the wind. She laughed a bit as she watched it fly. Flying would be fun, she decided. Maybe one day she could ask Hibari to take her. He was an old family friend and was the reason she was able to be alive today.
Suddenly she recognized a certain smell and leaped up on to her feet not minding the small little scraps her rolling fall had caused her. She knew this smell. She would never forget this smell because it held so many fond memories. Looking around and with the help of a familiar yet deeper masculine voice she saw Rush standing there only a few feet from her calling out her name. “I’m dead aren’t I?” she stated giggling. “Hello rush”

Rush, the runt at one point, was bigger. Tenma, Shai, and Sin's size now. Large and muscular, yet not in a frightening way. He smirked at her, fully aware that he was different. He smirked at her, tail wagging slightly. "Aloli, hello." He wanted to make sure she knew he remembered her. Why? Did it matter? Of course it did! She was his best friend! A smile flickered on his lips, approaching her.
"What was that about being dead?" He mused, shaking his head. "I hope you aren't, that would mean I'm dead, too. Then again, at least I am dead with you." He didn't mean that to sound flirty, but, Rush was always the kind to let out things he felt and not realize how they sounded.

Aloli looked rush over with a gentle smile. He was different and had filled out. You would never believe that at one point he seemed to be the runt of his litter. At least the ones she had seen. Her heart beat a bit faster when she realized he remembered her but then hadn’t he called out her name earlier. Of course she could have imagined it after the world was still a little wobbly from her earlier escapade. “Ah well I fell down a side of a mountain. Nothing to serious I thought but you never know. Oh I hope you aren’t dead… me either there is so much more to see in life that it definitely would be shame. After life sounds exciting as well, but not just quite yet,” she teased.

Rush smiled at Aloli, shaking his head. "Being dead would be interesting, but I still have a lot to do." He smiled warmly at her, nudging her slightly. His tail wagged, happy to see his old best friend. He eyed her, watching the female. He decided to ask, head tilting.
"How have you been?" He asked. Did she find a mate? Join a tribe? Lunarie, he should probably return sooner or later, before Ari worried. He had never officially met the man, and it was about time he finally joined the tribe as a member, alongside his brothers.

Aloli totally agreed there where so many things that she had yet to experience so many different places. Maybe even throw in falling in love and maybe a few heartbreaks along the way. Well she admitted she wasn’t really looking forward to that part but she could always add things like having a few kids growing along with them as a good parent. She was looking forward to it. So dying really wasn’t in her plans at the moment. She nodded along with his statement. “ Um I I’ve just been going on adventures and learning new things” Aloli pointed out. “Mostly around Caledonia since both my parents where there and they weren’t yet ready to let me escape into the world. Maybe they thought they were protecting it. Aloli could see that” she smiled.

So, she hadn't left her tribe lands much? He smirked at her, nodding softly. Now that he thought about it, had he met her parents? Or, even her other siblings? He couldn't remember, and he was sure he hadn't. He smiled at Aloli, shaking his head softly.
"I would want to protect my child as well." He mused lightly, laughing. "So I understand why its so hard for them to let go. Though, I'm happy they let you wander a little, because I probably wouldn't have seen you otherwise. Though, I might have gone up to visit, if my mom got better enough to travel away from for so long."

“Well I guess I would be protective as well and I understand where my father is coming from. I’m his first and only blood related daughter so he gets a bit overzealous in the protecting area. He’s protective of my brothers too but they’re boys and expected to get into shuffles and come home with bruises and scraps. Although, I guess Aeolos was the only one that did that Sindre is kind of quite and disappears a lot and Eshkol is to busy flirting up anything that’s female.” She sighed and shook her head. “Mom isn’t as protective but she has three older children, and grandchildren, and has at least two other blood related daughters.” Aloli explained.
“Well dad understands he has to let go eventually, even though he doesn’t like it. I’m sorry to hear that your mother wasn’t well but it is understandable that family comes first” Aloli nodded.

Rush shook his head. "Don't apologize. It's not your fault. It's her ex's." He mused, giving her a once-over. "I wanted to see you.... but I thought since we're both older you might have made new friends. Are you staying in your fathers tribe?" His tail flicked, laughing to himself lightly when the butterfly from before returned and settled on his paw. He nearly made it move, however turned to Aloli and smirked slightly, extending his paw slowly so that she could see the perched butterfly.
"Myself, I am going to stay in Lunarie, since I was born their and our god would not let us leave anyway."

“Ah I wanted to see you as well. It is partially the reason I came out today. I figured hey I should come visit. Nope I haven’t made too many friends; just the members of the tribe. Calendonia has had a rough winter so traversing to new places was a bit hard. As for tribes, it’s not a blessed tribe yet so the elder hasn’t ascended as such I am free to travel around and find a new home. Its probably a good thing considering I don’t think dad could stand always seeing the four of us” Aloli chuckled and leaned forward examining the butterfly again, maybe butterflies where her lucky thing as her dad’s seemed to be rivers. “ah I take it your tribe has an ascended elder then. Dad told me about tribes like that. He grew up with a female vixen who is in such a tribe. Of course I don’t think her mate is in the tribe so I guess their children can come but you never know.” She shrugged.

Rush chuckled as she spoke, nodding. "That would be Ari, the ascended Elder." He smirked as he thought of Ari, someone his mother trusted with her life, and Rush aspired to be. His heart hurt as he thought of father figures, ears twitching.
Rendo.
He was scared to turn out like Rendo. Would he ever be the dad afraid to lose his children, or instead leave them with their mother and travel the world without saying where he was going? He knew one of his cousins had a mental disorder where he would mentally shut down and travel without being able to stop, what if he had it? What if he left his future mate? No, that wouldn't happen.
Because he wouldn't find a mate.
"I doubt your dad could ever hate the sight of you." He mused, smiling warmly at her, his distress in the back of his brain. He turned to look at the sky, sighing softly. Noon was slowly becoming night.

Aloli took a deep breath and looked up at the sky. “Yes I know literally he could never do so.” She began lightly scoffing at the ground with her paw. “He used to get the three of us together since Eshkol would always be out flirting and tell us when we ever got a mate we would treat them with the utter most respect. They where a treasured gift especially made for all of us, and when we found this “sparkling maiden” or um prince I guess in my case, we would make them the center of our universe. Obviously before hand we where to have plenty of time to see the world and experience our selves first and then we should take plenty of time to just be with our mate before having children.” She picked up again and quietly looked up at the sky. “You see when Dad was little he grew up with another vixen named Xiaoshi and they where raised by a kind vixen who couldn’t have her own children. Dad was abandoned by his family because his father and mother where breaking up and they weren’t able to take care of the huge litter they had so they abandoned my father out in the snow. In Xiaoshi’s case her parents weren’t ready to have children and they abandoned her in the same area. So when Dad was little and he met mom he knew he was going to be her mate one day but he got everything done he wanted to do first and then re met up with her and followed the steps I told you about just so something like Xiaoshi’s case or his own never happened again.” Aloli stated not sure why she was telling him this. Some thing just felt like she should.
