It had been two days since the new Agent, Faleen, had gone to the brig to speak to the man she had known as Will for the last time. It hadn't been a pleasant visit, but she was not expecting it to be, she wasn't even surprised, in hind sight, of things he said to her, things that she knew were complete lies.
When she had walked away from the brig, Faleen had returned to her routine, and other than spending the first night after that visit with her memories weighed heavily in her mind. Faleen had managed to settle a lot of things for herself, and she was looking forward to getting back to adjusting to life with new duties, and her new rank.
One of those changes included moving out of the room she had been sharing with Grunt Lilith. Another grunt was going to be assigned this room that day, the only problem with this, was that her new room hadn't yet been assigned to her, apparently there was a complication. this left her without a place to stay for the night. It didn't taken her long to think of a solution, approaching the Agent she had recently become more familiar with, humbly asking Nyx if she would mind letting Faleen stay over for the night until she got her room issue sorted out. Faleen was thankful to Nyx for saying yes.
It didn't feel as strange as she thought it would, carefully gathering her belongings, and placing them neatly in a box for transport. This had been where she lived for quite some time, yet she had no sad nostalgia about moving out.
Umbreon sat by the bare work desk that Faleen used to use, watching quietly as his master walked aorund the room, gathering what few belongings she had, and what clothes she kept. The bed had been stripped of blankets and sheets, to be replaced by the new owner, so he wasn't permitted on it... the floor it was.

She felt like she'd lost almost everything in the last few days. Kofuku sat on her grunt's bed, staring blankly at the wall, feeling a sinking emptiness inside of her. She'd lost Will, since the bastered turned out to be a traitor, she'd lost her appetite, she'd lost her ability to sleep, and now she was losing her best friend. Granted, she was happy for Faleen, proud that the girl has gotten her promotion, but now that the dish-water blond was moving out from next door, the only think Kofuku could think about was how she was going to leave her.
Biting back a sob, she reached out and grabbed the closest, furry-bodied thing she could find and hugged it tightly. Ichigo, who happened to be the lucky member, made a comforting 'chu' sound and snuggled against the Rocket's face.
The door creaked open to Faleen's room and Hiromi walked in, sitting herself just inside the room. She watched her trainer's best friend walk around with rather sad eyes, her ear-fins drooping a little. Things were changing... and it didn't feel like they were changing for the better.

Both Faleen, and Umbreon's attention turned toward the door when it was creaked open, seeing a familiar, blue Pokemon come in.
Faleen started at Hiromi for a second, noting that the pokemon looked sad. eyes rose, scanning behind the pokemon, as if expecting Kofuku to be there, but there was no human to go with the Vaporeon. "... where is Kofuku?" she asked, finishing the folding she was doing with one of her shirts, and crossing the small room to place it in the box.
Umbreon eyes Hiromi, frowning softly, also not getting why she looked so sad, or why she was even here without Kofuku.

"Vapor....." Hiromi's whole body seem to deflate at the mention of her trainer's name, and her gaze lowered to the ground. Kofuku was next door, as always, but lately the girl had been in a heck of a funk, getting out of bed only to go to a shift at the infirmary. Part of this had started after the first visit to the brigs to deal with Lance's injuries.
Taking a breath, Hiromi did the only thing she thought she could do, and crossed over to where Faleen was, taking the woman's boot in her mouth gently, and pulling her to the door. Faleen could make things better, Faleen always made things better.

Faleen blinked when Hiromi walked over and took her boot to tug. clearly the Pokemon wanted her to go with, and she suspected it had something to do with Kofuku.
She didn't know how the pink haired grunt was doing, she remembered that she had taken when happened at the raid rather hard at the time, now she suspected that it hadn't gotten easier.
"okay, alright Hiromi, I'm coming" she told the Vaporeon, shooing her off her boot and following her out.

The vaporeon diligently led Faleen into Kofuku's room, right next door. Even before entering, stifled sobs could be heard.
Kofuku was still sitting on the bed, sobbing as quietly as she could into Ichigo's warm, furry body. The poor pink-achu had no idea what to do with her human at this point, having given up on trying to lick the salt water from the girl's cheeks. When the door opened, the pink pokemon shot an exasperated look to whoever was entering the room.
From beside the bed, Nina had made herself comfortable, keeping a watchful eye on her trainer in case something stupid crossed the girl's mind. Across the room, Sirius was chewing at a light reflection on the wall while Gizmo sorted through her drawer in attempts to make off with more sunglasses. All in all, the room was in minor chaos, and the sobbing pile of girl in the middle of her bed was not going to be doing anything about it soon.

Kofuku's door was open, and Faleen could hear that the girl inside was trying before she even walked in. pausing at the doorway to survey the scene in the room. Eyes scanning over Kofuku, over to the Umbreon who was still showing that unhealthy behavior, before moving back to Kofuku.
Raising a gloved hand, she knocked her knuckle against the door frame to announce her presence, before stepping in. "Whats got you upset Kofuku?" She asked, shifting her arms to her side. "Hiromi brought me here."

Instantly, the pink-haired grunt lifted her head and let got of Ichigo to furiously wipe at her red, swollen eyes. "I.. you know..." She sniffled, looking up at Faleen, her hair a mess and her cheeks tearstained. "Stuff." How could she tell Faleen that it was her she was crying over? She should be happy for her friend, ecstatic over the girl's promotion- still, she couldn't get over the thoughts that her best friend was going to leave her.
"I hope Hiromi didn't bother you."

Faleen watched the grunt as she stuttered around a non-answer. Faleen could very much guess what it was though, Kofuku was correct about that. For the time, Faleen didn't reply, or say anything to the other girl, eyes moving back over to the Umbreon before she made her way over to the creature, touching it to get its attention away from whatever it was focusing on. "I know it been an interesting week, but by now we should be used to stuff like this, don't you think?" she offered, her tone was calm, glancing back from from where she had crouched to the other Rocket. the pink haired women certainly seemed to be in a lot of distress.

Sirius immediately stopped and looked up at Faleen with her bright, wide eyes, then sat promptly on the ground right beside the agent.
'Interesting', certainly not the word Kofuku would have used to describe her week. 'Hellish' or 'heart wrenching', now those were getting closer to how she felt about this last week. "No... I don't think we should be used to seeing our friends disappear." Her voice cracked as she spoke, and she stared intently down at the blanket on her bed, feeling unable to make eye contact with Faleen.

Faleen continued to keep the Umbreon's attention, reaching out to rub one of her ears as she glanced away from Kofuku. "It a little to idealistic to think that way Kofuku, considering that its bound to happen."
The entire time she spoke, and interacted with the Umbreon her tone and remained level. Eventually though, Faleen pushed herself back up onto her feet, Taking the Umbreon's attention with it "come on" she told it, wanting to keep it from going back into that unhealthy habit while she was here.
Once up, Faleen walked over to Kofuku, and sat down next to her on her bed. The Agent didn't need to ask at all who Kofuku was talking about. "He was never a friend Kofuku... you know that right?"

Sirius obediently followed Faleen, sitting at the side of the bed looking up at the dirty blond Rocket, waiting and watching.
"It's so confusing... whenever I have to go down there to be around him, it's so confusing. I don't know how I'm supposed to patch him up when I'm supposed to hate him." Her mind went numb for a moment on the topic of Lance.
"You're leaving today, aren't you... moving out, I guess is what I should call it."

"Its simple" She replied, keeping her attention on the Umbreon in front of her by playing a little game. holding her hand out every now and then and keeping it there until she touched her nose to it. she would then pull it away and give her a treat she had left over in a pouch on her belt. "Your there to do you job, nothing else."
When Faleen herself was brought up, she glanced over at Kofuku. "I'm getting a new room... I'm an Agent now, I don't need to share a room with someone else now. So yes... I guess I am moving out."

"It's going to be different without out...." Kofuku watched quietly as Faleen played the game with Sirius, then glanced up to catch the gaze of her friend. And that was it for her; her face quivered for a moment, then the sobs began and tears spilled down her cheeks as she fought for breath. "You" she gasped out, finishing her statement, following with another wave of sobs as she covered her face with her hands.

Faleen, had a much more confused reaction to this, looking taken aback as Kofuku started to sob again, about her leaving the dorm? a soft frown crossed her lips, staying quiet for a time to give the other girl a moment to calm down a little so she can talk. "Kofuku, its not like I'm leaving the base or anything, I'm just moving up a level... and its not like we've seen much of each other in the past months anyway, I'm not so sure why your upset."
To say that Kofuku up and disappearing suddenly a while ago didn't affect Faleen would not be true, but it had been a long time since Faleen had come to terms with it, and stopped shutting herself away from people... unfortunately that started happening when she met Will...
