idk if there's already been a topic about this, but do any of you wax / shave your arm hair? have you ever?
i've been thinking about it, but i thought i'd look around first because if i feel awkward i don't want it to grow in weird or anything.

I used to wax but then I got lazy and now I just shave. It takes 2 seconds in the shower so it's nbd really.

I've never shaved/waxed my arm hair (unless you meant underarm hair <<;). My friend does, though, and her arms are always prickly. I don't care for it. >:

Narcoleptic Tree Nut I've never shaved/waxed my arm hair (unless you meant underarm hair <<; ). My friend does, though, and her arms are always prickly. I don't care for it. >: this is what frightens me. but i don't seem to get that prickly feeling when i shave my legs, so i don't think it would happen on my arms either.

I haven't in a while but I've shaved my arms since like 7th grade. Hated how much hair I had and how dark it was. My mom told me my arm was prickly sometimes but I didn't really care. I haven't done it out of laziness only.

Shave that s**t! I usually only do it if I am dressing up though. I did it in Vegas.
It takes a long time to grow back in. Once a week should be enough.
Will warn you though it's kinda weird looking when it grows back in. The hairs get all derp and face different directions until they are done.

Nope, thankfully the french genes didn't curse me with hairy arms.
Most other places are pain though.

I wax my arms 'cause I'M A HAIRY ARMENIAN. I've never shaved them, but waxing has made my hairs thinner and I have less of it! It's also gotten to the point where I don't even feel it when it's getting waxed, while before it felt like duct tape, now it feels like scotch tape. XD

I think shaving your arms is kind of ridiculous. Are women really that obsessed with body hair?

@valise: I really think it's more of a personal choice. It's only ridiculous if it's an actual obsession -- and that goes with everything.

I broke my ulna back in the 7th grade and when they took the cast off it was all "HOLY s**t HAIR", so I've been shaving my arms ever since. Like Paper said, it literally takes me a few seconds in the shower so it's never been a hassle. Plus, I can go a day or so before it even gets prickly.
