Skyler walks over to the room with her stuff in each hand she look at the door making sure it was her.Her smile grew bigger as she open the door.

Not close to perfect (Can we have another person?) Skyler walks over to the room with her stuff in each hand she look at the door making sure it was her.Her smile grew bigger as she open the door. Sure thing! someone new joined last night, so i'll put 'em in here.

 Layla walked towards her dorm. She looked at the door. Khaki dorm, it read. Yep, that was the one. She opened the door and walked into the room. She studied her surroundings. It was a nice room, but most definately made for humanoids. She figured she would make do of the human sized bed. Her eyes moved to the elf standing in front of her, beaming at the room. She figured she should acknowledge her in some way. "Hi", she said. "I'm Layla". She held her hand out for the girl to shake.

Skyler shakes her hand. "Nice to meet you I'm Skyler." She said with a smile. The she tilts her head and look out the window.To see the bright sun she runs over there. "Its soo bright out!" She cheered as looks outside

Layla rolled her eyes while Skylar wasn't looking. She had gotten stuck with exactly the kind of person she didn't want to be with. Bright, bubbley, cheerful. That's what Skylar appeared to be like anyway. Layla figured she might come around to getting along with the elf anyway. She liked to give people the benefit of the doubt. "Opposites attract", she thought to herself grimly. She looked at the two beds. "So which bed would you like?" she asked. It didn't really matter to her either way.

Skyler turn her head, then shrugged. "I don't really mind. I put my stuff in the first closets." She said as she put her arm behind her. "So how old are you?" She asked.

Looking at Skylar again, Layla could tell she was quite a bit older than her. "I'm fifteen. What about you?" Layla asked. She walked over to the second closet and sat back on her hindquarters. She began to pack her small trunk of belongings into the closet. Being a centaur, Layla didn't need many clothes. A few t-shirts, hoodies and bras was all she needed. But she did have one prized possession. She carefully hung up her bow in the closet, careful not to damage it in any way.

"I'm 10 years old.wow a big differnece." Skyler close to window and sat down at the couch and rickle her nose.

Layla shrugged her shoulders. "Meh. What's five years?" she joked. She was starting to warm up to Skylar. Maybe opposites did attract. She figured she wouldn't have to be the one talking in every conversation. That was good. She closed the door of the closet and walked over to where Skylar was sitting, and sat down beside her. "So when do classes start?" Layla asked, unaware of her time table.

Skyler looks at the clock. "Oh shoot I think we have five min to make it to class." She said. "I have charm and potion how about you?"

"You're in 2B, right?", Layla asked. "I think I have that class right now too. Why don't we walk there together?", she suggested awkwardly. She wasn't used to being friendly to people. She walked over to her closet and pulled out a backpack with her books in it then slung it over one shoulder.

Skyler hops up. "Okay." She smiles as she reaches for her book bag. Then she walks to the door. "Ready?" She ask as she took a step aside.

"Sure", Layla said. She was ready for anything. She stepped out the door and began to walk to class with Skyler. ((Switching forum to the charms and potions classroom))
