Just wondering, since music is one of my favorite things. Whether I'm writing some, listening, playing, or just thinking about it, I'd say it has a big part in my life. So I'm curious, whats everyone into? So lately I've been listening to a lot of Alt. Country and Alt. Folk music. I just love the sad, depressing tones it has. Examples: Woven Hand and Ultima VezA.A. BondyMunly and the Lee Lewis HarlotsBut then, I've also been listen to a lot of EBM/Aggrotech, which is also the kind of music I produce/my band makes. Examples: Die SektorLife CriedIncubiteI also listen to tons of other kinds of music, so I'd love to discuss any kind, chances are I probably enjoy something like it.

 I think 'what kind of music -don't- you like' would be a more suitable question for me. razz
And that's easy, there are only a few bands / singers I can think of off of the top of my head that make me want to punch people.
That includes:
Nicki Minaj
System of a Down
Green Day
I can't think of others right now. mad

I'm mostly into rock. My favorite bands are:
Sick Puppies
Celldweller
Evanescence
Lacuna Coil
Within Temptation
Nightwish
Michelle Branch
Skillet
There's some video game music I really like too.
I actually saw Sick Puppies in concert this past Friday, and it was AMAZING! I even got two sets of signatures because Shim, the lead singer, actually offered to sign the shirt I had just bought as I was wearing it. He said, and I quote, "I saw you rocking out. Want me to sign your shirt?" heart They are really cool with their fans too, you can tell they really appreciate us.

When I went to my first concert (Bowling for Soup) they were so nice, and they held a little conversation with you, and they signed my chucks. (Sadly, I lost those. Though I do have a pair signed by 2/3rds of the current Misfits).
In October, we saw Black Veil Brides... and going down the signature line... the first two were nice and such, then you got towards the end and Andy Six seemed like he was in hell, he wasn't happy at all, very grouchy... It was like... 'well, thanks for appreciating your fans, man'. The signing was before they went onstage though, and when they did get up there and sing... oh god, they were -horrendous- live. If they did a show with the Veronicas (who are also horrible live - dying cats much?!) the whole crowd would need earplugs.
I do like both BVB and the Veronica's recorded music still, but it just shows how much the studio helps out. ;].

I like everything but Country music, but I get stuck listening to it, because my bestie LOVES IT. But I prefer Rock of any type, but my favorite band happens to be a Japanese band called Dir en grey. I also like Slipknot, System of a Down, but then again, I listen to rap. I LOVE Lil Jon, and Nicki Minaj. I also like some Taylor Swift, oddly enough. Lol.

I love Japanese rock and darkwave. Bands like Oyuugi Wagamama Dan x PaRADEiS, The Candy Spooky Theater, LM.C, An Cafe (first gen), Scanch, Art Marju Duchain, Velvet Eden, Kaya, Aural Vampire, etc. Super long list of them in my profile sweatdrop
But I also love opera, chanson, baroque, enka, etc. I love pretty much everything except the majority of hip hop, rap, and the more awful parts of western rock.

I like a ton of rock, and metal and screamo. But for the most part I don't know names D:..
the bands that seem to be at the top of my all time favorite list though are
Led Zeppelin
Enter Shikari
The Devil Wears Prada.
Lamb of God
and for some reason Lady GaGa and Nicki Minaj, which really don't fit in with the rest of my music.

Speaking of rap, I'm pretty much the whitest person I know who loves Lil Wayne. And when I play my T.I. cd in my car and rap along to everything... yeah... x)
