Recently, I have transitioned to using only natural or organic products for my body.
I use an organic shampoo and conditioner.
I mix the conditioner with water for a leave-in.
I use essential oils in my hair, mainly lavender for a nice scent, but I'm looking to invest in some coconut oil.
My soap is natural, and I use homemade concoctions to clean my face.
I use organic extra-virgin olive oil as a moisturizer.
I also use natural toothpaste and deodorant!

Guys, I can honestly and genuinely say I have never felt so good before.
My skin looks amazing, my hair has grown so much and is so healthy, and on top of that I'm saving tons of money -- even though they're natural/organic products, they don't have to be the expensive kind!
My shampoo and conditioner are like 2 bucks each and last forever~

Anyway, what do you guys think of this?
Have you ever tried it? Willing to try it? Don't give two shits?

EDIT: I have yet to use natural makeup, because a lot of the stuff here is so expensive!
If I find some cheap stuff, I will totally go for it. 8D

It's not organic but my laundry soap, dryer sheets and bar soap are all hypoallergenic with no fragrances or dyes.

When I have extra crash money I like buying stuff from Lush~

like i said before, i use coconut oil in my hair. it's great as leave-in in the morning or deep conditioning over night or regular conditioning in the shower -- you can use it however you please. i use it when i get out of the shower to prevent frizz-- it really works. the science behind it is pretty impressive; apparently it like penetrates your hair and rebuilds damaged parts and helps keep your hair strong and shiny while also promoting growth. and also, you smell like coconuts :) yumz. and if you don't end up liking it in your hair, you can put it in your food! yop.

what's your shampoo/conditioner brand? i keep looking around for nice shampoo but i can't find anything good :S

edit:
it's not really like a body product, but i've started to buy more clothes that are made of natural/organic fabric, like cotton and hemp. it's not healthier or anything, but it makes me feel better about what i'm wearing.

@quaint: Mmm, Lush. <3
@cheekies: God that sounds heavenly (the coconut oil).
I use Trader Joe's tea tree shampoo and conditioner!
They work well for me. :3
I've been wearing more cotton as well!
I love cotton -- it makes me feel like a marshmallow. <3

I support everything on that list except for organic toothpaste. I tried that at my aunt's house once and that s**t is foul. It made my mouth feel dirtier than before I brushed. D:

I use homemade natural soap I buy from www.forestenchantment.com

They have a permanent shop set up at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival, which is the first place I bought from. I buy thier Sapone di Giacomo soaps.

The Blackberry Sage and Arabian Spice soaps are so dreaaaaaamy and what I find unique about their soaps is that the scent stays with the skin. So many homemade soaps I've used have smelled scrumptious but nothing stuck with the skin afterwards.

I love it! Can't afford it.

As far as bathing goes, I'm not inclined to do it every day, and I don't wash my hair a lot because the natural oils from my scalp keep my hair looking great. SO ORGANIC.

My skin's rough anyway because, well, that's how it is. I never have breakouts or any skin problems. I bite my nails, wash a few times a week... yeah, I'm kinda gross, but I smell nice and don't look disgusting. ALSO ORGANIC.

I used to use, and try to get a few when I can afford, natural homemade soaps from local shops. I like lush also. I use jojoba on my face as a moisturizer.

I've gone from washing my hair daily to doing it maybe three times a week, while still showering all seven- so I still need my moisturizer. I just tried this great basil-something lotion at a shop today that I'd like to buy. It smelled so nice and even lasted through washing my hands once! I wish I could remember what it was called.

@cutempky: DUDE, THAT SUCKS. :C
We use this brand called Tom's, the fluoride-free and whitening formula.
I promise to you there is NO difference from regular toothpaste, other than the fact that the sugar content is less (it sure as hell tastes less!), and it's a gel formula which doesn't give you that weird, powdery texture in the paste. :3
I think they sell tiny sample sizes if you ever wanna try it. <3

@xippyfolyfetiltheend: OH GOD, that sounds amazing man fjdksljfds.
I find that with my shampoo, the scent doesn't stay on my hair -- but I like to use lavender essential oil in it (VERY little), so it smells yummy and light afterward. <3
I also find that when I body brush my skin, that exfoliates it, and the scent of my soap stays a bit longer than usual, but not as long as I'd like it to!

@figsaredelicious: D: That sucks dude.
Was it the Trader Joe's one?
'Cause that one specifically says it won't dry out your hair. :3
'Cause my hair generally get's greasy during the end of day two/beginning of day three, when I'm supposed to wash it, and the shampoo didn't really change much! o:

@caitonskates: It's actually healthy not to bathe every day!
I like to call it 'marinating in my own juices'. XDDD

@norawantmoreofya: I've heard wonders about jojoba oil!
I like to use olive oil on my face and body. <3
I generally put a SUPER thin layer on my face if it's really cold outside in the morning, but if it's hot, I skip it.
WHY DO I SKIP IT?
Because I put a thick layer on at night, and when I wake up it's all soaked in and my face feels wonderful!
LIKE A BABIES a**.

Olive oil works well as a water proof lube as well. The ancients have used it for...ever.

I don't use organic toothpaste because of my dental issues and I have a prescription toothpaste instead.

I used to get mineral make up from a gal who started on ebay but has her own store. My before and after pics are on there somewhere, but it's southern magnolia minerals. I just ended up buying estee lauder when I was in a rush one day and it felt heavenly...given it's not time to replace it so I may just go back to SMM because she's way cheaper and uses more natural stuff in her product.

Tea tree oil is wonderful to keep around the house as well. Use it in hair/bath, use it for laundry if someone is sick. It's a great little antiseptic. I actually used to make my own laundry detergent, but when I bought an HE washer it would have messed it up so I buy now.

I try to use as much naturals and organics as possible or atleast be as econscious as I can be. All of my cosmetics and other daily beauty products are cruelty free ^^
I use a deokristal deodorant, which is a little salt stone you moist and then rub onto your skin. It keeps the odors of perspiration away. And it really works.
My shampoo is organic and my barsoap is community trade from India, where it benefits the environment and the people making it.

Most of my cleansers I use on my face are made in Finland and not tested on animals+vegan, which is a huge plus for me ^^

Though I still have to admit that the organic products in my household are still mostly in my fridge or pantry.
