Dosari = Purple
Dakika-kito =

Little black paws and little violet ears twitched as their owner slept, dreaming of something...Maybe chasing something? Or dancing? Whatever the dream was, it didn't get to last long. A beetle landed on the black and violet juvenile's nose, causing her to wriggle it in discomfort. The beetle buzzed up for a moment as her blue eyes opened, then landed back on her nose. Dakika-kito blinked the sleep from her eyes...then grinned brightly.

"Oh! Hi Mister Beetle!" The beetle decided it didn't like the movement caused by Dakika speaking, and buzzed off. The juvenile made a noise of protest and scrambled to her paws. "Wait for this one, Mister Beetle!" And off after it she went, giggling. "Dakika only wants to talk!"

Dosari had tried to find himself some alone time at the moment. The past couple days had been wrought with much excitement and revelations. He had older siblings, much older siblings. He had finally seen a vision of what his father looked like and he had to admit he was a little less than pleased with it. Over all it had been much more active than normal and he found that he needed a break from everyone in order to clear his thoughts.

Walking along, he heard the sounds of giggleing and voices in the distance. He hadn't known there were others in the general vacinity and he felt himself panick a little. His mother was very protective over him and his siblings, tiny and grown, and wouldn't think twice to chase someone off or get into fights to protect them.

To his relief he saw a female cubs come into view. She looked about his age and was black and purple with the bluest eyes he had ever seen. They reminded him of running water. She was chasing after something and he decided to sit and watch her for a little, so he wouldn't disturb her game. Despite this, he ended up chuckleing a couple of times, finding her antics funny in the same way his mother found his brother's antics amusing.

Dakika stayed oblivious to the fact she and the beetle weren't alone, chasing after the shiny insect. She twisted and turned, jumped and went up on her hind legs, all the while calling out to the beetle in her odd way of speaking. And finally...she flopped onto her back, out of breath as the beetle flew MUCH higher than she could jump to. The juvenile made a rather pathetic noise.

"Bye, Mister Beetle..." She sighed and rolled onto her side. And blinked when she FINALLY noticed she wasn't alone. After a moment of staring, she squeaked and scrambled to her paws, smiling sheepishly. "Uhm...hello! This one is sorry for not noticing you!"

Dosari gave the little girl before him an equally sheepish smile, as he had absolutely no reasonable communication skills with anyone outside of his family. It was the downfalls of having such a large and diverse family grouping. He ended up spending more time doing things with them individually than he did trying to make friends out in the Rogue Lands.

"It's ok," Dosari said with a quiet tone. He was trying not to sound like the super serious person he normally was. It might make her feel a little intimidated and he had promised himself he would TRY to make a friend some day, "I didn't want to disturb you playing..."

Why did she just refer to herself as 'This one'? He thoughed to himself, his inner voice a tad little judgemental for his own good. Eh. It was no matter. As long as he knew what she was saying she could refer to herself as the air sun for all it mattered, "My name is Dosari."

Dakika's head tilted to one side, as if uncertain she'd heard him right, then her smile grew into a bright grin. "It's nice to meet you, Dosari! This one is Dakika-kito, but most call her Dakika! Thank you for letting this one and Mister Beetle play for a little." She trotted over to Dosari after shaking loose bits of grass off of her fur. "Do you live here, Dosari?" She and her family wandered, but she knew there were some families that stayed put! Maybe his was one of those? Or maybe they wandered like she and her Daddy did!

He nodded to her question after processing her name for a moment or two. Dakika-kito. That was quite a lot of k's, but it was basically as long as his mother's. He had heard of people with names so long that they needed nicknames for themselves. He often wondered whether or not their parents just wanted to torture others with having to remember or pronunce those names.

"It's nice to meet you Dakika. I do live around here, for now anyway," He said, wondering to himself when the next time was that they'd move. They never moved very far, but Gutu liked to uprise the den and move it every now and again when she felt it may not be as safe anymore. They'd only done it twice so far, but he never knew with her, "We move around every now and again, but we generally stick to the same areas. What about you? Does your family live around here?"

Oh....that sounded like an inbetween between the two types of families! Dakika shook her head in response. "No...not really. Daddy and my sister and brother and me are staying nearby for a bit, but not too long." She shuffled her front paws a little, mussing up the dirt beneath them. "I'd like to stay in one place a little longer some day, but I don't want to leave Daddy." She puffed up, getting a determined look. "I'm gonna help him find me another Daddy!" Her Daddy needed a boy that would stick around!

Dosari looked at her strangely for a moment as he tried to again process what she was saying, this time because he was actually confused. Her Daddy.... was trying to find another Daddy?... What. He looked away trying to figure out what she meant by this. Dosari's life, for the most part, has been extremely sheltered. He did not know about alternative lifestyles such as that as Dakika's father's, and while in the future he would have no problem with it because it isn't his and it isn't his business, for now he was so not sure what she was talking about.

"...Why does your Daddy want another Daddy? Wouldn't he want a Mommy?" He asked, scratching at an itch that presented itself behind his ear as soon as he got confused. "I know how that feels, though. I don't want to leave my Mom, she's already paranoid that my older brothers are going to leave her and she'll eventually be alone."

He probably shouldn't be telling strangers Gutu's unfounded woes, but he figured since they both had the same attachment issues it'd be ok.

Dakika shook her head. "Nope. Dakika's already got a Mommy. She and her sister that's with her Mommy catch up sometimes to visit! But Daddy and Mommy aren't in love, 'cause Daddy likes boys, not girls." She nodded in an almost sagely manner. "So I'm gonna have another Daddy one day!" Maybe she'd find her Daddy a Daddy that had cubs too! Then she could have more siblings! Maybe more brothers! She tilted her head at Dosari's mother's woe...and then smiled slightly.

"Your Mommy is silly! If your siblings are like you, this one is sure they won't leave your Mommy!" She sounded so certain of it.

Dosari smiled awkwardly at her for a moment. She was right in that his brother's would probably never leave Gutu's side, not with how much they loved her and she loved them, but convincing her of such things were harder than it sounded. She wasn't... right... up there. Her mind seemed as if it was plagued, or that she was being haunted most of the time. He was still unsure about what.

"Ohhh." Dosari said, but truthfully what Dakika had explained to him was a little on the weird side to him and he still wasn't sure if he was fully comprehending it correctly. For her this was normal and she accepted it because it was her life. For Dosari, it was foreign and unheard of to him. He'd asked Gutu about it later.

"I don't have a Dad," Dosari said dryly. Well, he did, but not one with him, so it was pretty much a Dad-less existence. "I'm pretty sure my mom will do much better when she finds us a Dad."
