Note: This is not originally my story plot, all credit goes to Seldom_Tears who made this RP originally. Playwright Oscar Wilde took to wearing a green carnation in his lapel as a secret symbol of his homosexuality. The act was misunderstood by most to be an innocent accessory of the usually flamboyant artist. However, men in the gay community soon adopted the practice and the streets of London were peppered with green carnation adorned lapels. The flower identified a culture and helped homosexuals find allies in what was an otherwise intolerant society.   Trapped in the elitist boarding school of their fore-fathers, a group of gay young men create a secret society of companionship despite the will of their close-minded administration. Here, the boys are able to find love and friendship away from the disapproving eyes of their parents and peers.
Secrecy is of the utmost importance. To get in to the club is incredibly difficult, and to leave impossible.
The society is full of nick-names and codes to help the boys remain under the radar.
The club simply does not exist to anyone who is not a member. If you happen to be a gay young man at the school, some day one of the senior members may come tap you on the shoulder and initiate you into the society. Otherwise, you could be friends with these boys all your school years and not have a clue what they were doing behind closed doors.

He hasn't told his parents about his sexuality because they always say how much of a sickening thing it is. So he's started to hang out with other people like himself. Biography: Chase grew up in a broken home, didn't really have much. His parents were drug addicts and beat him often. When they found out that he was gay, they hid him in the closet for hours at a time. No food, no water, no bathrooms. They were sent to rehab when he was fifteen, and once they got out, they went straight to jail for using again. He hasn't seen them since. He lives better now, with his aunt and uncle, he even calls them Mum and Dad. He rarely talks about his past, because he is happy with his present.

If you venture to the rarely-used fourth floor of classroom building C at The Rowensbook School, you may just happen upon something interesting. There, at the end of the dimly lit east wing, is a perfectly normal looking beige door. Well, Normal, except for the tiny green carnation symbol painted square in the beige rectangle's center. This small symbol- and the three deadbolt locks down the door's frame- are the only things that set this portal apart from the others on the hallway. However, what lies on the other side of this door is anything but ordinary.
For there lies a most excellent sanctuary for boys of a....different persuasion. Amidst green painting, wall hangings, rococo furnishings, and other extravagances lies the Green Carnation Society Lounge. If you should be so lucky as to receive entry into this oasis, you may never wish to leave again. For here is your respite from all that ails you. Come rest and relax with a group of boys who share your interests: namely, each-other.
