Blizzard It’s an exciting time in StarCraft II history. The first ever season is drawing to a close, and Season 2 is about to begin. We have some important information on how the end of season process will happen, and the times and dates for each step. During maintenance next Tuesday morning, March 22, the ladders will be locked. The lock will mean that no further league promotions or demotions can occur, and bonus pools will stop growing. So now’s the time to push for that promotion! Once locked to a league and division players can continue to play out their bonus pools and compete for standing within their division until the actual end of the season. During morning maintenance the following Tuesday, March 29, Season 1 will end and Season 2 will begin. Season milestone rewards will be distributed (more info about these in an upcoming blog), and bonus pools will start over. Internal skill ratings used for matchmaking and league placement will carry over from the previous season, so players who have played their placement matches in the previous season will only need to play one new placement match. A couple weeks later we'll be ready to launch the Grandmaster league the morning of April 12. For more information on this premiere league check out our recent blog at- http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/2452060#blog still not sure whether or not I should start doing 1v1s. once they lock leagues I'm gonna drop my MMR down some so I place Bronze next season. at least, that's the plan.

I just want my MMR to get reset entirely so I can get out of this bullshit division. The top three people have over 3k points each, I've got over 2.9k and then the fifth guy has 2.2k points. Why the hell weren't people being advanced?!
(Yes, I know the points mean nothing for advancement but these high amounts of points hsould not have been accumulated in a Gold division.)

@Immy: because I'm a lame achievement whore who wants easy wins to unlock all the portraits. my friends are trying to convince me not to do it because it'll become super boring super fast. but if it comes down to the dime, I'll progress my way back up if I want to.
@Jubei: yeah that's what I was thinking, too. i know I won't make Masters though, and I'm still on an unsuitable computer for playing to the best of my ability. so I decided not to.

amphetamine x love unless you decide to just lose tons of games in order to get dark voice yep. that's the plan, at least. drop my MMR a ton, and once I place Bronze I'll win every game I'm favored and auto-leave any game that I'm not. Teams Even will take turns between winning and losing.

oh my god the bullshit from newbies i am dealing with today holy ******** to:
-4rax mass marine 150gas for stim timing push that i knew was coming
-4gate zealot rush that i thought i held off but this kid must have sent like 3 probes and built 4 pylons |:
-40 minute game where this kid spams scans like a chobo and masses marines/ravens which eventually the ravens just raped me in the late game with turrets and missiles on my mineral lines/tech -_-

Leavers (usually portrait farmers who join/leave games as much as possible in hopes some people will win a 3 v 4, 2v3, 1v2, etc.) should die in a fire and/or be banned.
